Hi everybody! My name is Rachel and I am living and working in SE. I have been a pet sitter for 2 years now and love the nature of the job. Because I can't have pets of my own, I joined Pawshake so I can feed, play, and hang out with some 4 legged-friends! I have taken care of friends pets while friends have gone away travelling or looking for flats to live etc.

I love all animals and when I look back, a lot of my happiest memories have included animals. From minding a small, beachside hostel in Mexico with 2 cats, Frieda and Diego. To finding and looking after a litter of kittens in Guatemala. To dog sitting a friends German Shepherd for a year back in New Zealand.

Growing up, our family dog Jessie was my best friend. I did all of her training when we got her as a puppy so I feel comfortable being assertive with dog training. As your dog walker, or pet carer, I will be willing to take your dog for a walk in your neighbourhood, pick him/her up from anywhere you need and drop him off when and wherever you would like. I offer to do basic training on the walks as well if required. I will bring my own treats for your pet too, as the best way to a heart is through the stomach! Every pet has their own personality and I will take the time to listen to you and understand your pets behaviour.

The reason I want to be a pet sitter/walker is to not only hang out with animals, get fit while getting to know London better, but also to get out in the community and explore this beautiful city. I am currently living in Deptford.

I am flexible moving around the city if you need me to be.
