- About Me -

I am Melanie and I am a dog walker in the Portsmouth, Southsea area. As a dog walker I am experienced in walking, feeding, looking after and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I am currently taking part in courses so that I can be more experienced in my proffession and to start my own buisiness.

I decided to start a Pawshake account to provide care to animals across Portsmouth. I love and adore animals and as a photography student I sit at my desk all day and would love to provide care to pets in my free time. I also want to expand my photography portfolio and would love to photograph your gorgeous pets and will do this for free with any booking with consent from pet owners (please contact me for more details about this).

When it comes to working with animals I am enthusiastic, focused and organised and I make sure that all of the dogs or cats in my care are happy, healthy and safe. I am also aware that it is very nerve racking for pet owners to leave their pet in someone else's care which is why I will send updates every day or whenever they are requested to ensure that you are happy with the care I provide to your pet.

- My Services -

Dog Walking - My fees cover a 1 hour walk. Dogs walked under my care will be on lead the whole time unless the pup has good recall and well socialised but this will have to be after a couple of walks when you are sure your dog is comfortable with me. I stop walking at 8pm during the summer and 5pm during the winter for my safety as well as the safety of your dog. I may be able to walk past these times if you are local or it is extreme circumstances that require an owners full attention.

- Doggy Daycare - This service is new to my page as a trial. I currently live in a student house with 3 other people apart from the holidays when they may come back and fourth from their family homes. I am happy to take on any dog but would prefer if they are house trained as to prevent damage to the house.

- Extra Information -

I am currently trying to get a license to be able to travel but for the time being I can only travel via public transport, walking or cycling so I may have to decline a request depending on distance but this is something we can discuss during the booking process as I am very flexible.
