Welcome to my page! My name is Katy and I'm widely recognized as the "cat person" among my friends and community, a title I wear with pride. Having shared my life with these wonderful creatures since I was born, my love for cats runs deep. My extensive experience includes years of personal care for various cats. I also attended professional work experience in a cattery, to learn about cat health & safety, and administering oral medication and eye drops. This has equipped me with the skills to ensure that your cat's health needs are met with precision and care. I am particularly adept at soothing nervous or timid cats, thanks to my calm and patient demeanour. My approach is always gentle and respectful, acknowledging the trust it takes for a cat to feel comfortable in new hands. I am well-versed in the correct methods of holding and handling cats, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

The important stuff:
I am available for home visits between 30 minutes and 1 hour, up to twice a day.
Prior to booking, we can have a meet & greet with you and your cat(s) to see if we would be a good fit!
Weekly availability:
- Monday: mornings between 6:30am-9am, evenings after 7pm
- Tuesday: mornings between 6:30-7:30am, evenings after 6pm
- Wednesday: mornings between 6am - 9am, evenings after 6pm
- Thursday: mornings between 6:30-7:30am, evenings after 7pm
- Friday: mornings between 6:30am - 9am, evenings after 6pm
- Saturday: mornings between 6:30am - 9am, evenings after 6pm
- Sunday: mornings between 6:30am - 9am, evenings after 6pm
My home-visit services:
Services included for your cat(s) during home visits:
- Care of up to 3 pets (cat and small animal, exc. ferrets) included in price
- Keeping in contact with you regarding any changes with your cat(s), and if required bringing your cat(s) to the vet when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency
- Feeding your cat(s) as required
- Providing access to fresh water
- Cat(s) able to use the toilet (litter tray or access to outside) as needed
- Basic medication (non-injectables)
- Cat(s) are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner
- Spending time with the cat(s) and playing with them
- Small pets: my service includes taking care of small pets (exc. ferrets), which includes tidying cages, feeding, and doing a full clean of cages if the booking is more than 4 days
- House / apartment locked up and secured after the booking (please provide all details to ensure this)
- All keys returned at the end of booking as instructed by you
- Mail collected
- Trash taken out if needed (please provide details of bin collection days)
Expected from you as an owner:
As a sitter, I want the best for your cat, so please provide the following information so that you can relax knowing everything is taken care of:
- Please disclose any behavioural issues of your cat
- Please write down any special requirements or instructions for your cat, including portion sizes of food, if applicable
- Please label any medication properly, include clear dosage instructions, timings (if applicable), and whether it needs to be taken with food
- Please share information about where the cat(s) is allowed to go (include details of access to cat flap), and where your cat(s) should use the toilet (outside or litter tray). If a litter tray is provided, please ensure enough litter is available for the sitting period
- Please provide emergency contact details
- Please provide details of usual vet practice
- Please ensure enough food is provided for the entire sitting period
- Easy and safe access provided to the house / apartment for your pet (and me)
- Food and cleaning supplies in a convenient location
- If you have a security camera(s), inside or outside the house, please disclose this before the booking

Would highly recommend Katy - her communication was fantastic, she sent lots of photos and updates, she came by at reasonable times, she stuck to the care instructions and she generally made us feel very at ease. She took great care of our little ones - thank you Katy!
