Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Ashford who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Ashford neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Ashford dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hello, I’m Burçak!
Animals have been a very special part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always brought me genuine happiness. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so my aim is to offer a safe, loving and peaceful home where every dog is treated like a member of our family.
I live in Feltham with my husband, our 17-year-old son and our lovely 2.5-year-old French Bulldog, Maisie. She is a much-loved member of our family and enjoys welcoming new four-legged friends into her home.
My husband and I both work from home, which means our guest dogs receive plenty of company, attention and affection throughout the day. They are never left alone for long periods, and I can closely follow their usual feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routines.
We have a lovely small park very close to our home, where we go for regular walks. Every walk is adapted to each dog’s age, energy level, personality and usual routine. Whether your dog enjoys gentle strolls or more active walks, I will make sure they receive the right amount of exercise without feeling overwhelmed.
Our home also has a lovely, fully fenced and secure garden where dogs can play, explore or simply relax in the fresh air. I want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, settled and completely at home.
I am also a certified Animal Reiki Master. With the owner’s permission, I can offer gentle Reiki sessions to support relaxation, particularly for dogs who may feel anxious, unsettled or nervous in a new environment. Reiki is never used as a replacement for veterinary care, but it can be a calming addition to a peaceful and reassuring routine.
I understand that every dog has their own personality, preferences and little quirks. Before their stay, I would love to learn about their daily routine, favourite activities, dietary requirements, medical needs and anything else that helps them feel happy and secure.
Whether your dog is staying for the day, spending the night or joining me for a walk, they will receive patient, attentive and genuinely loving care. I will also send regular photos and updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and enjoying their own little holiday.
I would be delighted to arrange a meet and greet before the first booking. This gives you and your dog the opportunity to meet our family and Maisie, and to see our home and secure garden.
I look forward to welcoming your dog into our family and giving them a loving home away from home.

I am a lover of all pets and have recently found myself without any pets in my home. My partner is not keen on getting any new pets in the home, so I am looking for interaction with some furry friends to be able to share my love for pets with them.
I have previously had many pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds etc) and am willing to help others take care of their family members.
So if it's a stop in visit for a cuddle, care or help walking your dogs while away or at work, I would love the opportunity to help. I am located in the Staines area and would like friends local or in surrounding areas.
I am flexible with my hours of availability, as I work from home. If you are interested in me helping with your loved ones, please let me know.
Many thanks
Sincerly,
Krista

A lifetime of caring for pets big and small, from hamsters to feathered friends and fish to fur babies. As fellow fur-baby parents who travel often, we know the stress of leaving them behind. That's why I treat every pet like my own, safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Having fur babies of my own has taught me how important consistency and attention are, so I approach every animal with the same care I give at home, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away ensuring bowls are full, paws are clean and tails are wagging if that means going for a walk or a cuddle. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of various sizes from frenchies and cockerpoos to cocker spaniels and chihuahuas to labradors. I offer dog walking services and drop in visits and I provide attentive care tailored to each pet. I keep you updated, make sure pets are fed and walked as needed, and give cuddles if that's their thing. I follow their usual routines so they feel secure, happy, and loved while you are away or at work. I am dependable and adapt well and quickly to situations that require immediate attention and action.
Please note that any trips more than 5 miles from Staines will occur an additional cost of £1.50 per additional mile.

My cat is the fluffiest! He is very stubborn but sweet at the same time. I still remember the day I got him, how tiny and innocent he was!!
I've always felt worried when going on holiday as it meant I had to leave my cat alone. By using apps like these, I found wonderful people looking after my cat and it made my travelling experience so different. I know what it means to love your pet like a child and I'm able to provide that care and dedicaction. I've done this for many years for friends and family and I'm so looking forward to meet your little furry family members! I miss my dog so much now and I love dog walks in nature.
I only have experience with dogs and cats, but happy to look after all sort of pets.
Message me for details and any questions, the more, the merrier!

Hi, I’m Katherine!
I'm a huge animal lover! I am based in Ashford (near Staines). I have volunteered at a farm where I helped care for many different animals including goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds etc. I've got experience with dogs, cats and rabbits, as I've volunteered at a cat rescue and a rabbit rescue. I have a cat myself called ollie! I used to have a dog, she passed away in July, she was the family dog and I miss her a lot!
I also have joined 'Borrow my doggy' where I walk dogs so I’m confident with both gentle, slow walkers and more energetic dogs.
I’m calm, patient and reliable, and I always follow each pet’s routine exactly so they feel safe and comfortable.
I offer:
• 30 min & 1 hour dog walks
• Cat feeding & home visits
• Puppy check ins
• Drop in visits for playtime/cuddles
• Extra care for shy or nervous pets
Animals mean everything to me and I treat every pet like they are my own!
Thank you for reading this!xx

Hi. I love everykind of animals. I like to spend time with them. I have a cat. I been doing dog caring, it started as some sort of hobby. I try to do it more often now, because it s fun. If you have any cats or dogs who needs a care while you re gone to holiday or some other occasion ,I can take care of them depending on your requirements.Just tell me what you need. I have a garden and it s nice neighbourhood lots of parks and riversides. I am good to keep them peacefull, active and clean. I only accept 1 pet at a time usually to my house. You can reach me from text message or phone call. I am with animals since I know my self. I love every kind of animals. Have been taking care with dogs for early ages time to time. Did dog care pitbulls, terriers, labradors big sizes, small or medium sizes. I Just feel good and calm when they around so try to do it more often. Have a big garden here. Place is near to riverside and there is lots of tree. So they run and play with other dogs. You can trust that your pet ll be loved and taking good care of here. I do have canine communication certificate and dog walking and pet sitting diploma

I have a 2 year animal management college diploma, from here I went into a boarding kennels and cattery which I worked in for just over 3 years, I dealt with all kinds of dogs from all background and a lot of rescue dogs and scared cats. I learnt how to do bookings, emails, compilations. It was my job to feed, clean, walk, medicate, and take charge of the kennels. In this I learnt lots of skills such as different medications but also what to look out for in dogs which could lead to illnesses. I now work for a dog walking company and am in the making of setting up my own dog walking and sitting company

Before college and work, I have helped my nan with her retrievers in training and competitions, helped with walks and general entertainment for all ages. I am very confident with most breeds of dogs and behaviours, I loveee an old dog! Or a scared dog, I love making friends and making them feel happy and comfortable

I am a fun loving animal lover! I am a big sister to two beautiful pets at home, a persian cat named Penny and a golden retriever dog named Duke both aged 4. i love my pets, and hence would take care of yours as they were mine!
I've been around animals since a young age. Volunteered in shelters and non profit organisations growing up. Would do feeding cycles for the stray animals everyday as a part of my routine at the shelter.
As i love animals, i am keen and comfortable working around them. Would also occasionally take my neighbours dogs for a walk too if that counts as valid experience! I've always wanted to pet sit professionally and i think this would be my chance to do so! I will help you enjoy your vacations or at work and you can be relaxed whilst i take care of your fur babies!

Hi! I’m Dan, a 19 year old animal lover based in Surrey with a genuine passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Growing up, animals were always a big part of my life from dogs and cats to tortoises, so looking after them has always felt completely natural to me.
I have hands on experience walking and sitting multiple dogs at once, both big and small breeds, so I’m completely comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve also owned and cared for cats throughout my life, giving me a solid understanding of their needs and how to keep them happy and comfortable, especially when their owners are away.
In terms of services, I offer dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting. Whether you need a reliable daily walker, someone to pop in for a visit, or a sitter to stay with your pet for longer periods, I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs.
Alongside my studies, I work part-time as a lifeguard, so I’m calm under pressure, responsible, and trustworthy qualities I bring to every sit and walk. My flexible schedule means your pet gets real time and attention, not just a quick check-in.
Your pet’s happiness and safety genuinely matter to me. This isn’t just a side job it’s something I really enjoy. I only accept vaccinated pets and will always keep you updated with photos and messages throughout, so you can relax knowing your companion is in great hands.
I’d love to meet your pet, so feel free to get in touch and arrange a free meet and greet!

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently have a 14-year-old dog who, due to his age and health condition, is being cared for by my family in my home country. It was a difficult decision, but his wellbeing and comfort always come first. This experience has made me even more attentive, patient and understanding of pets’ individual needs.

Although I don’t have extensive professional experience, I have cared for and fostered dogs in the past and truly enjoy spending time with them. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident and at ease when leaving their pets in someone else’s care. I always treat every pet like family-with kindness, patience and respect for their routine.

I currently offer dog walking and pet care at the owner’s home, providing calm companionship, playtime, feeding and regular updates. I enjoy relaxed walks tailored to each dog’s energy level and needs, whether they prefer a gentle stroll or a bit more movement.

I’m happy to follow any special instructions to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.
