I’m Buke, a passionate animal lover and experienced pet sitter living in Bristol. For as long as I can remember, I have felt a deep connection with animals. They are not just pets to me, but wonderful companions with unique personalities, emotions, and a special way of communicating with us. I truly believe that animals can sense kindness, energy, and love, and I always strive to create a warm and trusting bond with every pet I care for.
One of my biggest motivations for becoming a pet sitter is being far from my own beloved pets. I have two wonderful pets, though they currently live with my parents while I complete my master’s degree in Bristol. My 8-year-old tortoiseshell cat is independent and full of character, while my 5-year-old mixed Akita dog is incredibly loving, loyal, and protective. The bond I share with them is incredibly special—they have always been a source of love, comfort, and happiness in my life.&nbsp;
Being around animals brings me a sense of peace and fulfillment, and pet sitting allows me to reconnect with that feeling. It gives me the opportunity to care for and bond with other pets, offering them the same love, patience, and attention that I would give my own. Providing a safe and happy experience for animals while their owners are away is not just a job for me. It is something I genuinely enjoy and feel deeply connected to. Growing up with animals has shaped my life in many ways, teaching me patience, empathy, and the ability to understand their emotions beyond words.
Whenever I am around animals, I feel an instant connection with them. I believe they can sense when someone truly cares, and I always take the time to earn their trust, whether through gentle interaction, playtime, or simply being present with them in a calm and comforting way. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I find so much joy in making them feel safe, loved, and cared for.
I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, providing services such as feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship. Because my accommodation does not allow pets, I offer pet-sitting in the owner's home, ensuring your pet stays comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I am also attentive to any specific needs, including dietary requirements, medications, or special routines.

We have used Pawshake previously to look after our two adored cats. Through our positive experience, we are keen to offer this service to other cats and owners in our area (North Bristol). We know how important it is to have peace of mind and be reassured that our pets are being well looked after while we are not at home.
I have many years of experience looking after dogs and cats for friends and family. Feeding, walking and offering cuddles if wanted. When I was younger I travelled around the UK and Canada, house and pet sitting, both dogs and cats. This is one of the best jobs I've ever had.
My teenage son, Lansana and I love animals and our cats, who are now 5, are important members of our family. We would like to spread the love to other pets and be rest assured they are in good hands with us. We are not able to take pets into our home at the moment, but we are more than happy to walk and look after your cats or/and dogs in and around your own home.


I am an experienced dog owner, sitter, and walker. I have owned terriers and lived around rescue animals since childhood and have experience sitting for whippets and greyhounds and walking small, medium, and large breeds including bullies. I am a keen hiker and runner and am happy to take your dogs on long hikes or countryside routes as well as routes within Bristol and surrounding towns.
I am willing to take one-time clients and very keen to take long-term walking jobs. If you're looking for someone for regular dog-walking, especially if your dogs are high energy and require multiple hour walks, or if you're looking for someone for day-time sitting I'm your guy. I will not do off-lead walks until I am comfortable with and trust your dog.
I do not have my own vehicle currently and so I am only offering walks local to your home. I am willing to travel to reach you. My rates are set to allow me to make minimum wage: my walk services are £12.25/hr, with my minimum walk time being 1hr (pawshake takes a 25% cut).


Hi, my name is Ashley and let's just say I love animals more than I love myself . But in all seriousness I adore animals with all my heart, I will always put my full attention on the animal I'm looking after as I've had experience in the past looking after animals such as dogs and cats away from my home such as Feeding,walking,playing and cleaning up after. I especially love cuddly playful animals. A rule I like to do when pet sitting is always try to text a photo update of the animal I am looking after to the owner to try and ease any worry the owner has as if it was my pet being looked after I would like to know as much as possible how it's going on.&nbsp;
about me I am currently 21 and live in the Bristol Kingswood area. I am kind and devoted to any kind of work I'm doing.
