Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Carlton who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Carlton neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Carlton dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Heya,
My name is Chloe, I'm 27 and I've recently moved in Nottingham. I love dogs so much, I always have since I was little ! I grew up with mine who's still back home and recently was living with my friends who have a beautiful golden retriever (as you can see in my profile picture hehe). But since they moved, I find myself in dog withdrawal and would love to take care of your little ones and help out !
I am happy to do visits, walks and housesits whenever I'm available. My rota and days off do change quite a bit every week at the moment but I'm free in the evenings after 6. Please do get in touch with me if you require specific dates and I'll try to accommodate :)
I have taken care of my own dog throughout my teen years, and have had my friends's dog over for housesitting many times ! I love to go for long walks and play with my pets to make sure they are engaged and stimulated.
I am looking forward to hearing from anyone who's in need of my services and promise the highest level of care for all your furry friends :)

PS: Please only make an enquiry if you live in Nottingham (city centre or area accessible with the tram/buses) as I don't drive and wouldn't be able to get to you otherwise!

Hi! I’m Deborah, and I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I recently said goodbye to my two beloved rescue beagles (I miss them very much), so I truly understand the love and companionship pets bring.
I offer dog walking and pet sitting, providing exercise, play, and lots of love for your furry friends. I always stop to say hello to dogs when I’m out and about, and I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s needs.
My approach: I tailor each walk or sitting session to your pet’s personality and routine. Playful, energetic dogs get fun, stimulating walks, while older or shy dogs enjoy gentle strolls and quiet attention. I follow any instructions you provide carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and preferred routines, to ensure consistency and comfort. Safety is my top priority. I use secure leads, check surroundings, and supervise pets at all times.
I also have experience with cats and enjoy making them feel comfortable, loved, and relaxed, respecting their individual personalities and moods.
Whether it’s a playful walk, a gentle stroll, or some quiet time at home while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and cared for. If you want someone who treats your pet like family, I’d be delighted to help with walks or sitting!

I’m passionate about giving pets the care, attention, and love they deserve while their humans are away. I’ve worked at a busy doggy daycare that also offered grooming and training, so I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior, social interactions, and managing different personalities including play and resource guarding. I’ve also administered medications, fed dogs on schedule, and kept kennels clean and safe, so I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care. I love observing each pet’s personality and making sure they feel happy, secure, and engaged. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just some quiet company, I aim to give every animal a positive and stress-free experience. My approach combines professionalism with genuine care observing each animal, supporting their well-being, and adapting to their personality and behavior. I don’t host pets in my home, so vaccination requirements for visiting pets don’t apply, but I always ensure the highest standards of care during interactions and outings.

As a dog owner of 2 chihuahuas (one is 10 and the other is 20) I value the importance of how hard it is to find people that click with them and that it's not a rushed process....like people we all have our levels of being socially comfortable around others so i like to let amimals go at their own pace to become buddies with me.
I've grown up and looked after lots of creatures from Lizards, rats, Chinchillas, scorpians and toads...i was proudly the guinea pig catcher at junior school too
I love all sizes and breeds of dogs but I feel my strength is with smaller dogs and understand the importance of keeping a close eye on them when taking them for walks out and about...the world is a big place for them!

I love taking pictures and giving updates when pet sitting cats and dogs for friends in the past. I enjoy a cuddle with a moggy too and have alot of good energy to share. I'm also a light sleeper so if you needed a house sitter my ears are as keen as a chihuahuas.

Speaking from experience having the reassurance in a pet sitter is something that you never realise you need until it's time to take a trip or spend a long day at work.
Dogs are legends an cats have the magic of calm energy...all creatures are epic! So if you'd like some help and to put your mind at rest let me know how I can help :)

My name is Will and I'm 26 years old. I'm currently based in Carlton, Nottinghamshire. I work in IT and I work from home.I have a lifelong passion for dogs and have years of experience. I have owned a Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and most recently an Alaskan Malamute. I have also looked after my friends Border Collie when he's away on holiday. We unfortunately lost our Alaskan Malamute boy, Arran, last year at 12 years. Our house has been empty without him. I dearly miss him and taking him out on long walks so will be delighted to offer this service to you.We have a good neighbourhood with lots of local parks. I would often take my dog down through Colwick Woods and round Colwick Country Park and let him socialise with all the other dogs and dog walkers. If you have a preferred route though, please just let me know. My mother, Susan, would take our dogs on walks with me and would be happy to help you out too, especially if you have multiple dogs and would require two walkers. My only restriction is that I require your dog to be neutered/spayed and be up to date with vaccinations. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. When booking an appointment I'm happy to discuss your dogs' specific needs and their personality so I can assure I can provide them with the right support.

I'm Lucy and the proud owner of 2 loveable pugs, George and Yoko who are 3 years old. I'm offering dog walking and sitting for people in my local area on weekday evenings and weekends.
I work full time during the week on the commercial team of a large, clinical drug research company, so I know how helpful it is when someone can lend dog owners a hand!
Depending on the size of your dog, I can take him/her out alone or with George and Yoko. I'm happy to do dog sitting at my house or at yours to give your dog some care and attention, plus some fun!
George and Yoko are neutered/spayed and up to date on vaccines.
I have a son who is 11 and a daughter who is 13 and they are happy to help out, too. They love George and Yoko (their canine sibings!) and would love to help out with other dogs, too.
I'm available for dog walking (30 mins) and dog sitting at pet owner's home (30 mins).
