Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Chislehurst who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Chislehurst neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Chislehurst dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi! My name is Grace, I'm 24, and I’m a huge animal lover that has had the pleasure of house-sitting pets for 5+ years.
Over the years, I've looked after 20+ dogs and cats through pet-sitting sites like 'Rover' and 'Cat in a Flat', and also for family and friends.
I've had experience with Large Breeds (Burnese Mountain), Seniors, Nervous/Anxious pets, Rescues, Cats and multiple pets in a house (5+).
Whilst you're away, I try to tailor my approach to their same normal routine, as I know how stressful it can be for a pet when their owner is away.
Whether it's a specific feeding routine, medication, or spending a bit of extra time with a nervous dog, I'm always happy to listen and take notes so that they can feel as comfortable as possible.
‍ 🦮 I also always send photo updates during my visits to keep you updated and let you know how your pet is getting on.

What's included in my care?:

Feeding
Playtime
Specific Routines
Walks
Cuddles & Attention (As much or as little!)

I can drive, have a car, and work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible.
I’m also fully DBS checked (can send proof upon request ️)
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet!
(P.S - I grew up with an energetic collie, so energetic walks and caring for seniors are well within my comfort zone )

I have always had a deep love and respect for animals, which is what drives my passion to become a pet sitter.
Spending time with pets brings me genuine joy, and I understand how important they are as beloved members of a family.
I know how difficult it can be for pet owners to leave their pets behind, and I want to offer them peace of mind by providing reliable, compassionate care in their absence.
I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether it’s following a specific routine, administering oral medications, or simply offering companionship and affection.
I take pride in creating a safe and comfortable environment where pets can feel happy and secure.
Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with my desire to help others, and I find great fulfillment in forming bonds with pets and their owners through trust and care.

After my 16-year-old dog recently passed away, I’ve deeply missed our morning walks and the comforting, warm doggo smell. I love caring for animals and have experience nursing elderly pets. With a full-time job as a doctor, walking other people’s dogs has become a meaningful way to fill the missing piece in my life.
I currently have two cats: a Maine Coon who came with my boyfriend, and a stray tuxedo cat whom I nursed from two months of age. I spend most of my free time brushing my cats, playing with them, and giving them lots and lots of cuddles.
I also keep a freshwater tank that is heavily planted, home to a curious and confident female betta fish. I would love the opportunity to care for more animals, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, and rodents. If I ever retire, I would happily turn my house into a mini zoo, with separate zones for stray cats, dogs, aquariums, budgies, and mice.
I regularly walk my friends’ dogs and provide cat-sitting. I am experienced in administering medication, cleaning pet spaces, long dog walks, and cat litter maintenance.

Hello!
I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time during the day to look after your pets.My first pet was a hamster that I was fully responsible for, and ever since then animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m a huge animal lover and advocate, and I've lived with cats most of my life. I currently share my home with two rescue cats: a 15-year-old ginger adopted from the Celia Hammond Animal Trust, and a 10-year-old tabby who joined our family last summer. Many of the families I’ve worked for as a nanny over the years have also had dogs that I helped care for daily, including walking, playtime, feeding and grooming. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Labradors, and absolutely love spending time with them. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat their space with the same respect and attention I would my own. I make sure food and water are fresh, litter trays or bedding are clean, and that any routines or rules you have in place are followed exactly.I prioritize safety at all times, keeping doors and gates secure, monitoring pets closely, and handling them gently and confidently. I also provide plenty of love, attention, and supervision so pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away.
Before I meet your pets, it’s really helpful to know their routines, preferences, and any special needs. This includes things like feeding schedules, medications, favorite toys, how they like to be handled, and any quirks or triggers they might have.Knowing this ahead of time helps me make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy from the moment I arrive. I want every pet to feel like their home is still their happy, familiar space while you’re away.

Hi! My name is Holly, and I have a genuine love for animals of all kinds. I have owned both dogs and cats in the past, currently care for guinea pigs, and have several years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I also previously worked as a pet groomer, where I learned how to safely handle animals, understand their behaviour, and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Over the years, I have looked after and walked dogs for friends and family, giving me experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to build trust and make them feel safe, relaxed, and happy while their owners are away.

I offer pet sitting, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water changes, playtime, companionship, and dog walking. My walks are typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour, but I am happy to adapt walk lengths to suit your dog’s age, energy level, health needs, or your preferences. I am also comfortable caring for senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and pets that require extra patience and attention.

During drop-in visits, I ensure pets are fed, have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and playtime, and have any specific care needs met. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and can provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow any emergency instructions you have provided, ensuring your pet’s safety is always my top priority.

My availability is after 3:00 PM most weekdays, as I work from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM so I am available for afternoon and evening care, depending on your needs. I am reliable, trustworthy, and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own.

I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and provide them with the best possible care. ️

Hello, I’m Martyna, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life!
I grew up in Lithuania surrounded by stray cats who felt like part of the family. We had a beautiful white cat named Bella—super independent and loved hanging out with the neighbors and other cats in the area. Then in 2015, we got Doris, the most amazing dog (German-Slovak Shepherd mix). He was my best friend, a 50kg ball of energy who loved long walks in the forest and playing fetch in the river. Sadly, he passed away last year, and I miss him every single day.
Since I can’t have a pet of my own right now (thanks, landlord!), I jump at any chance to be around animals. I’ve got experience walking big dogs like Doris, and I also dog-sit my friend’s Alaskan Husky and my partner’s family cats. Whether it’s taking your pup out for a fun walk or just chilling with your cat, I’d love to help out!

I’m currently only available on weekends and am based in Eltham.

Pets are more than companions to me—they’re my happiness and my sense of home. I truly love spending time with animals, giving them the care, attention, and affection they deserve so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away.
Whether it’s long walks in the park, playful moments, or cosy cuddle time, I make sure every pet feels happy and cared for. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs, and I adapt quickly to make them feel comfortable and secure.
I have 8 years of hands-on experience caring for my beloved Pomeranian, who had asthma. Supporting him through his health challenges taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to confidently care for pets with medical needs. Thanks to that experience, I’m very comfortable managing special requirements and ensuring pets stay healthy and happy.
Losing him nearly 2 years ago was incredibly difficult, but it also reminded me just how much love I have to give—and I would be honoured to share that with your pets.
If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more—I’m here for you and your furry family

Hi, I'm Lucy
I'm 23 and love animals, I recently graduated and working locally full time- so will be specific on my visit times around work.
I have house sat and cat sat previously, for multiple long periods of time but I'd loved it so much I'm looking to offer my services wherever possible :)
When going away, I am a great alternative to an expensive and fully booked cattery/ kennel.
Cat/ house sitting would be where I am most comfortable but I am but I am available to dog sit on weekends. I would love to be able to show your pets so much attention while you're away.
I am working full time in the day but I will be able to spend as much time with your lovely little animals by house sitting if you need, or coming in any morning and evening as well as regular dog walking if you need, I love doing this for the office dog on my lunch breaks. I am a very active person and morning or evening walks would be ideal for me if you needed.
Unfortunately, my family are allergic to most pets so I won't be able to have them at my home but I find most animals feel more comfortable in their own home any. But of course in special circumstances, having your pet at my family home can be negotiated if needed.
I love all animals so much and would be so happy to put your pets at the centre of my attention, making sure they are well loved and looked after whenever you need!

I am 34 years old, married and have an avid passion for pets and animals in general.
I was raised on a farm till I was 9 years old, and since then, I've always had pets throughout my infancy till I became an adult.
As an adult, I've had a few breeds of medium-sized dogs, and later in life, I discovered my passion for cats as well.
In 2021, my wife and I started doing house and petsitting full-time as a lifestyle option, which gave us the geographical and financial liberty to travel around the UK, make very dear friends, furred or not.
House and Petsitting allowed us to get to know more about the culture of the places where we've been, as well as creating a bond and friendship with pet parents, which made all the difference for us being ex-pats.
Because we do this as a full-time job, our schedule is pretty busy and booked in advance, so please contact me and let me know which dates you need covering. I'm looking forward to working with you.

I have grown up with dogs all my life and now I live with my partner in Chiselhurst, I really miss coming home to a fury friend! I recently dog sat for my sister and it made me think about how much I miss being around dogs so I thought I'd give dog walking a go!

From the age of four, our family dog was a Schipperke (I've only ever met one other!) named Sonny. He was an amazing dog and I had him all the way until I was 19. After that my parents then decided to have a border terrier named Luca and he's still going strong!

I love all breeds and can't wait to have a dog of my own once we're a little more settled. For now I will make do with my family/friends dogs!

Services for now include dog walking. I can be fairly flexible but around lunch time is normally more suited. Happy to chat and figure out what works with you though!

More than happy to answer any questions you may have around my experience with dogs or anything else :)

Walking Louie, the friendly bulldog, Prince, the elegant King Charles, and Duke, the energetic boxer, has been an amazing adventure. I'm the best fit for this because I truly care about them. Each dog is different, and I understand their needs and personalities.
Louie likes to take things easy, so we stroll and explore calmly. Prince is graceful, so our walks are smooth and peaceful. Duke is full of energy, so our walks are exciting and dynamic.
I take this responsibility seriously. I know how to make each dog happy and healthy during our walks. I'm patient and pay close attention to them. Our walks aren't just exercise – they're a chance for us to connect and have fun together.
My dedication, understanding of their unique traits, and strong bond with them make me the perfect person to walk Louie, Prince, and Duke. I'm here to ensure they have a great time while staying safe and cared for, no matter their individual personalities.
As a dog walker, I will be responsible for taking your dogs on walks, ensuring they get exercise and fresh air. I also have knowledge on all diffrent types of breeds, follow specific schedules, clean up after the dogs, and provide them with water and treats. Building trust with both you and your dogs
