I grew up in the country side, we always had pets, mainly cats and dogs.&nbsp;
Since I left my home town I never had the opportunity to have my own pet, family life commitments wouldn't allow. So pet sitting feels like the perfect way to enjoy their company but without the long term commitment.&nbsp;
I have two children, 12yo and 5yo, and both are very caring and sensible with animals, they will be part of the pet- sitting experience on boarding services. We had a pet-guest during the Christmas break and it was a great experience for all. All done and tested before &nbsp;
I can provide dog walks to my local area on evenings during week days and Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day. 
Home visits can be available every days, early mornings and evenings.

Im aware different dogs react differently in social situations, so depending on this I can walk them in more private green spaces. If your dog is reactive, I can take the acceptable precautions to avoid other dogs on walking route. A typical walk would include a park, green space or woods. In case of emergency, i'm aware of all the local 24hr vets/pet hospitals around me and would contact you immediately! Dogs will be kept on leads unless upon request your happy for off lead walks too!&nbsp;
I've mainly walked dogs solo, but am happy to do multiple dogs at a time. If you'd rather a solo walk thats also fine!&nbsp;
I have basic first aid training, but am also working towards another specific animal based first aid.&nbsp;

My name is Mariana, I'm half Portuguese/half Cape Verdean, I moved to England a few years ago where I finished studying Acting and performance and simultaneously worked as a Carer/Support Worker.

I've always loved animals in general, all my life I was surrounded by cat, dogs, birds and many farm animals, I think they are a joy of life. Especially cats, I had two when I was younger so once I moved here I wanted another one, luckily I was offered one so I know her, Moony, since she was born.

I normally say my cat is a dog, rabbit, frog, and sometimes a cheetah inside a cat and I love it! She is very energetic, loves playing around, and also loves cuddles and her precious food of course so naturally, I'll take care of every cat as if it was my own and give them all they need. 

I understand the worry of leaving our 4-paws with a responsible and caring person. 
I'll make sure to discuss with you every important detail besides the basic that will be giving food and water; I'll make their toilet is always fresh; brush them and play with them of course, cuddles or just a presence if that's what they like;
Generally, every home visit will be a min of 20min up to 1h;

For an extra cost, I don't mind picking up/dropping off to appointments but I must say for now I'll have to walk or use public transports as I'll start taking my license soon then I'll be able to use my car for that purpose. 

All my visits will take place between 06:30 am to 09:30 pm, unless we previously discussed a desired time within that time frame. 
I have a very flexible schedule, I'm sure most of the time I'll be able to do a last-minute visit.
Also, I'll make sure to update you with photos and videos every visit. 

I'll cover home visits in North London until zone 4, South East London until Zone 5, occasionally until zone 6 depending of how busy I'll be or not and I’ll also cover Dartford area.

Experienced and reliable pet sitter with lifelong experience, especially with cats. Ive cared for a variety of animals including rabbits, dogs, hamsters and gueinea pigs. I’ve had cats since the age of 10 and have raised kittens from newborn age this year, including bottle feeding and using milk formula. I’m confident with all aspects of cat care, from feeding and litter duties to play, comfort, and recognising when a pet needs extra attention.

I no longer have pets of my own due to my older pets sadly passing away, and pet sitting allows me to continue spending time with animals and giving them the love, care, and attention they deserve. During your time with me your furry babies will get 3 walks minimum of an hour at a time . They will get unconditional love and affection. You will receive lots of updates as well !  Although I live in a flat we have access to the park immediately outside the block , we also have access to Danson park which is a beautiful walk. The animals will sleep within the living room on the sofa bed so will have lots of space as well.
