Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Falmer who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Falmer neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Falmer dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hello!
I am a creative performer and writer who loves cats, dogs and bunnies! I love to cook, read (please talk to me about Red Rising), play tennis, and love watching and debating the newest film or series.
I have been a member of TrustedHouseSitters since 2025, where I have sat over 15 pets (dogs, cats and bunnies) with more than 30 hours worth of dog-walking expertise, and all to five star reviews, and have been sitting on Cat In a Flat since 2024, where I have received five star reviews across the board and had many a returning customer!
I first owned a domestic longhair cat in 2008, looked after and loved my Snobby for a long and happy 15 years before he passed. After some time, my partner and I adopted our own bossy and loveable BSH Juju, and now I love to spread all love and abundance Juju has given us towards your furry felines and canines!
I am able to pet, show lots of love to and provide specific care for, take on walks, clean litterboxes and scoop poop, play with, administer oral medication, feed and follow your pets unique routine! Lots of cuddles, scratches, playtime and treats for good behaviour! I also love to talk to pets to keep their engagement up and sense of loneliness down - they understand and are more responsive than you think!

Please do let me know if your pet has a dietary requirements, specific medication and routine that must be adhered to.
With cats please let me know any no go areas on the body (we can all get precious about our bellies!), any noises they don’t like, and their favourite bidding place in case theyre shy when we first meet!
With dogs please let me know if they are to be allowed off their lead, how they are around other animals, their usual walk and how they manage crowds

Location update: Brighton, East Sussex
I have over 3 years' experience looking after dogs, cats, and other animals full-time through TrustedHousesitters, where I've received 15 five-star reviews and I return to many of the same places throughout the year. I've had a chance to look after very best-behaved and friendly dogs as well as reactive dogs or cats that wouldn't initially let me touch them. I treated each one with an individual approach, while feeling genuinely privileged to care for all of them.I have looked after dogs in Berlin, Austria or Mallorca, but also in the Czech Republic, where I am originally from, so I love going back there. I've also cared for dogs, horses, sheep, and other animals in the UK.
I love every minute of it. Going for walks no matter the weather, as long as I can watch happy tails wagging, dogs running around, sniffing, and enjoying the time of their lives or a ball of furr stretching and purring on my lap.I work on my online projects while doing petsitting and I love that the care and responsibility for the dogs or any other animals gives me a stronger sense of routine and responsibility - not just for myself, but for someone else too. What could be a better work companion than a dog curled up next to you or a cat on your lap?

Hi, my name is Miriam! I am a 23 year old Master's student in Brighton but grew up in a small town in Italy surrounded by many many cats. In addition, I have been pet sitting in the UK for a few years now and therefore have a lot of experience walking dogs, doing daily house visits or overnight stays.
I love spending time with animals and taking good care of them. Their happiness never fails to bring a smile on my face. Daily contact with animals is one of the things I miss the most when I am here, which is why I would be happy to devote some of my free time to pet sitting.
My services involve walking, feeding, playing and some light grooming. I am a very active person which is why taking your pet out to a park for a nice, long outdoor play is a thing you can count on. As a student, I am flexible and have no problems with last minute arrangements. I am a very responsible and reliable person so you can be sure that your pet is in good hands!
If you think that I would be the right sitter for your furry friend or if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to leave a message!

Hi! I'm Jay and I've been looking after animals my whole life. Growing up, I've always been surrounded by all sorts of animals whether they be rats, birds, cats, dogs or chickens. This early exposure has instilled a deep love and respect for all animals no matter their size. I always enjoy spending time playing with them, looking after them and even simply being around them. My motivation that led me to pet sitting comes from this same love for animals as I am always excited and enthusiastic to meet a new pet.
I have been pet sitting on and off for friends and family over the past few years, and have my own experience of looking after my cat for the past 4 years as well as previous animals such as my 2 rats I had when I was younger. I'm familiar with feeding pets, walking small/medium sized dogs and spending time with both young and elderly animals.
I do require pets to be up to date with all vaccines as this keeps a healthy environment for all. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

I'm currently a Room Leader at a nursery, but am on sabbatical until 14 July. I grew up with a precious Jack Russel who is now 17. I have looked after friends and families cats and dogs. Also, I've looked after a classroom hamster, who I would take home over the weekends for company, feeding and cleaning.
I'm used to responsibilities and follow instructions carefully. I know first-hand how important our pets are to us, they're our little babies, and will ensure safety and care at all times, as well as lots of cuddles, love and play.
I provide dog walking, dog/cat sitting or check-ins, as well as small animal sitting or check-ins. I'm flexible, so am happy to discuss your pets specific needs and the time that it would take. I am currently available all week, all day.ovide dog walking, dog/cat sitting or check-ins and small animal sitting or check-ins. Hello, my name is Paulina, I am a lawyer from Chile who came to the UK to study a Master's in Human Rights, and I'm an animal lover! Throughout my life, I’ve always had pets (dogs, cats, chickens, and a turtle). My latest pets have been two beautiful Boston Terriers, a mother and her son, who became part of my family, bringing love and joy, and I really miss them. Because of this, I truly understand how important pets are to their owners, the care they require, the love they should receive, and the attention they need daily.
I firmly believe that the love animals offer is unconditional, and for this reason, it is essential that we provide them with the care they deserve.
Furthermore, in my country, I have worked as a pet sitter, caring for cats and dogs by looking after them in their homes, playing with them, and taking them for walks.
I am happy and available to care for your pet.

I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who offers a calm, cosy home where dogs are truly treated like family. Although I’m new to professional dog sitting, I grew up with 4 Beagles from the age of five, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I’m confident with puppies, including basic training and teaching fun tricks, and I also have experience supporting senior dogs. I recently cared for my own senior dog, who I was very close to, so I’m comfortable giving medication, following routines, and providing plenty of patience and affection. I live alone in a quiet flat, which makes it a peaceful and relaxed environment for dogs who enjoy consistency and a slower pace. To help keep the space comfortable and stress-free, I’m best suited to dogs who are toilet trained and up to date with their vaccinations. While I don’t have a garden, I live directly opposite a park with plenty of green spaces just seconds away, and I love taking dogs out for walks, including trips to the beach, the park and many more. Your dog will be well looked after, gently spoiled, and surrounded by lots of love, cuddles, and thoughtful care while you’re away.

Hi, I’m Zen – a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I've had everything from affectionate staffies to gentle American bulldogs and curious cats, and I currently share my home with a lovely feline companion. While there’ve been a few pet-free years in my life, most of my adult years have included the joy and grounding that comes from having a furry friend around. Animals naturally put me at ease, and I aim to return that feeling to them — offering a calm, intuitive presence that meets them exactly where they’re at.What I offer: Dog walking – gentle or energetic, depending on your dog’s needs Home visits – feeding, playtime, litter checks, and companionship Pet care tailored to your routine – I stick to the guidance you provide Regular photo updates – so you can feel close to your pet, even while away Open to all animals – cats, dogs, small pets, and moreWhether your pet needs quiet, grounding energy or someone to keep up with their playful zoomies, I adapt naturally to whatever suits them best. I believe every animal deserves care that honours their unique personality, and I’ll do my best to ensure they feel relaxed, safe, and happy while you’re away.Let’s have a chat — I’d love to meet your companion and see how I can support you both

I’ve always been a huge animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all personalities and energy levels. Becoming a dog walker and pet sitter felt like a natural step for me, as it allows me to combine that passion with providing a reliable and caring service for pet owners. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy and well looked after, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own.
I have previous experience running my own dog walking and pet care business, where I supported a range of clients with daily walks, feeding and general care. This has given me a strong understanding of different dog behaviours, routines and the importance of building trust.
I am usually available during mornings and afternoons on weekdays, with some flexibility depending on your needs.
I offer dog walking and home visits, and I’m happy to tailor my services to suit your pet. Dog walks typically last 30–60 minutes and take place in safe, local outdoor spaces where your dog can explore and enjoy themselves. For home visits, I can stay with your pet, provide feeding, companionship and basic care, as well as help with small tasks such as watering plants and bringing in post.
I am confident administering basic medication if required, and I always prioritise your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. For safety, I only accept vaccinated pets.
My approach is calm, patient and attentive, ensuring your pet feels relaxed, happy and well cared for at all times.

Hello! My name is Amy, I live in Brighton and have been a huge animal lover for as long as I can remember. I've been trusted to look after my friends and families pets, from hamsters to rabbits, goldfish, dogs, and lots of cats in-between! I have always enjoyed how rewarding it is to look after animals, they make me feel so happy and relaxed - I genuinely love it!I love being there for my clients, and their sweet animals alike. I have a wealth of experience with different dogs and cats. I often like to watch how they settle into their own environment, e.g. if they have a favourite spot, or if they like to be scratched behind the ears! I always hope they will see me like another member of the family so they are as happy and comfortable as possible whilst their owner is away.Long walks are my speciality! We will go on a full, new adventure around the neighbourhood, taking it at your dog's pace. There's lots of things to smell and explore, whilst heading towards large green spaces gives your dog the chance to get out and socialise in their own way. I love seeing their happy faces when they're comfortable doing their own thing! Please let me know if your dog/cat has any special requirements and if there are types of behaviour that I should be aware of, i.e. if dogs are more nervous around certain breeds/sizes of other dogs, or if they are more excited by human interaction, if they require a longer/shorter walk, or if there is a certain area to avoid in town.I look forward to hearing from you!Amy x
