I am an experienced dog owner, sitter, and walker. I have owned terriers and lived around rescue animals since childhood and have experience sitting for whippets and greyhounds and walking small, medium, and large breeds including bullies. I am a keen hiker and runner and am happy to take your dogs on long hikes or countryside routes as well as routes within Bristol and surrounding towns.
I am willing to take one-time clients and very keen to take long-term walking jobs. If you're looking for someone for regular dog-walking, especially if your dogs are high energy and require multiple hour walks, or if you're looking for someone for day-time sitting I'm your guy. I will not do off-lead walks until I am comfortable with and trust your dog.
I do not have my own vehicle currently and so I am only offering walks local to your home. I am willing to travel to reach you. My rates are set to allow me to make minimum wage: my walk services are £12.25/hr, with my minimum walk time being 1hr (pawshake takes a 25% cut).


Hello my name is Gemma and I live in Fishponds.&nbsp;I stepped away from Pawshake for a little while whilst my kids were growing up, but now I'm back and can't wait to start visiting your pets again. I currently work from home which I share with my family which includes our two cats Ivy and Rosie, our two rabbits Brandyn and Jaygo and our three chickens (who you can see sunbathing on our decking below)  I love animals but know what a pain it can be when you need to travel. I will happily look after your pets whilst you are away, and give them the attention and reassurance they need. If your pet wants to have a little play or cuddle i can do that. I am happy to look after elderly and disabled cats, and can administer medication as required. I am experienced with insulin injections.I have also previously been a volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust and have also previously rehomed hamsters, rats, chickens and a tortoise. Before kids I volunteered at Bristol Zoo, where I helped with the husbandry of spiders, reptiles, giant snails and cockroaches.&nbsp;Whilst you are away I will send you updates and photos so that you know your pets are doing okay. I'm also happy to put bins out, water plants, draw curtains etc.  Please feel free to contact me to discuss your pet needs, and I will ensure that your pets remain happy and looked after whilst you 're away. I can do one or two visits per day, and can time those visits to meet your needs.  Thank you

Hi, my name is Ashley and let's just say I love animals more than I love myself . But in all seriousness I adore animals with all my heart, I will always put my full attention on the animal I'm looking after as I've had experience in the past looking after animals such as dogs and cats away from my home such as Feeding,walking,playing and cleaning up after. I especially love cuddly playful animals. A rule I like to do when pet sitting is always try to text a photo update of the animal I am looking after to the owner to try and ease any worry the owner has as if it was my pet being looked after I would like to know as much as possible how it's going on.&nbsp;
about me I am currently 21 and live in the Bristol Kingswood area. I am kind and devoted to any kind of work I'm doing. I do have a heart condition but I don't let that hold me back so try not to let that discourage you from me as I can pretty much guarantee you that you will not find a  person who cares for animals as much as I do.&nbsp;
