Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Loxley who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Loxley neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Loxley dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi, I’m Ana — a lifelong animal lover who’s spent years walking and looking after pets for friends and family, and I’d love to bring that same care to your furry family member!
I’ve also got a pitbull of my own (currently being spoilt by my parents in Brazil!), so I’m very much at ease with big, strong, and high-energy dogs.
I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel a bit daunting, so my priority is always making them — and you — feel completely at ease. Whether it’s a big dog after a good walk, a cat after some company, or an older pet needing a gentler routine, I tailor things to suit each animal.
I’m reliable, easy to reach (expect plenty of photo updates!), and treat every pet as I would my own — sticking to feeding schedules, routines, and any little detail you may like to share with me.
If you’re after someone trustworthy, who is going to give so much love and care for your pet, this person is right here!

Hello dog owner!I'm Michael and I love animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds and rodents and was lucky enough to experience the special bond that comes from loving pets. I am an avid bird-watcher and enjoy taking my binoculars with me on particularly foresty walks!
I am looking to spend more time with dogs: I know well the benefits of spending time outdoors with them and what it does for me, bringing me and them great pleasure, excercise and adventure and I know that's something worth pursuing.I have a wealth of experience house and pet sitting, alongside which I can do odd jobs, water plants and of course do full clean ups after any sessions.
I have experience with a wide range of dogs too, caring for everything from Chiwawas to Samoyeds. I have experience administering medicine, diet plans, special food and training regimes. All types of walks (or runs!), urban or park, play, special needs or specific types of exercise are all completely manageable. I am also a qualified dog first-aider should that ever need to be used, helpful for big scares and things getting stuck in paws!If you'd like to know more please get in touch, I warmly welcome any questions you may have.Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you!

I am currently a healthcare student and a part-time professional pet sitter with 5 years of experience. I grew up with my dog Juke. Looking back, I treasured every minute we spent together. Ever since he passed away, we have not owned another pet. But I've always missed the companionship and responsibility that came with being a pet owner.
I believe pet sitting is so much more than just keeping your pets company when owners are away; it's about creating a comfortable, safe environment that makes them feel assured. My professional pet-sitting experience has taught me that, regardless of your experience as an owner, creating this environment requires taking the time to observe and interact with the pets to build a strong, trusting bond. As a soon-to-qualify healthcare provider, I am confident to say I am equipped with patience, attentiveness to small details, and other skill sets to achieve this for each pet's individual needs. I am dedicated to making pet owners and their pets feel reassured so that you can concentrate on holidays, work trips, or unexpected events.
I prefer to arrange a meeting prior to drop-off or house-sitting to make sure there is no confusion.
My home details:
I live in a semi-detached house with my parents, who are also animal lovers, and a fenced garden. The neighbourhood is a safe and secure area, with many dog-friendly places nearby, including Forge Dam, Spider Park, Redmires reservoirs & other terrains, suitable for active dogs that require lots of exercise or senior dogs that prefer a slow walk.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

Hi everyone,

My name is Izzy, I am 27 and from Sheffield. I work full time for a charity and would love to spend some more time looking after pets in the area! I have had pets my whole life - dogs and cats, and I am a huge animal lover. I've used Borrow My Doggy for years while at uni and beyond, and I very regularly look after my family's pets. I am used to big dogs having always had them so I'm confident in walking them and keeping them safe.
I am looking to look after pets in the owners homes, as I am currently living in a houseshare.
I am a friendly, bubbly and reliable person who would give your pet the love and attention they deserve, as well as providing regular updates (as I know it can be nerve wracking to leave them!)

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Izzy

I have owned dogs all my life, and currently have the cutest 6 year old English springer spaniel called Alfie who we have had since a puppy. He is very energetic and loves long walks, but will love just as much to come and cuddle with you. Growing up, I had a black Labrador, which is where my love for dogs began.

I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs as well as different ages and different energy levels.
I am great with energetic young dogs as well as laid back sleepy dogs.
I love taking energetic dogs to new places to explore but also chilling out with laidback sleepy dogs who just like a short stroll.
I am here to make sure your furry friends needs are fully met and I will ensure to make them feel extra loved while you are away!

Along with this, I am happy to care for multiple pet households such as multiple dogs or a mix of dogs & cats! Please let me know if there is any extra care needed such as ensuring dogs & cats are kept separate etc.

I am always open to any extra types of care needed such as medication or extra attention, given instructions.

I appreciate you entrusting me with your fur babies so will always treat them as my own, as well as treating your home with respect, leaving it identical to how it was found, with a cared for and happy pet left waiting for you to return!

I am currently a student studying physics at the university of Sheffield.
I have a fairly flexible schedule and can fit in multiple visits a day as well as staying overnight

However being a student, I will not be able to stay in your home full time on weekdays & will need to go out to my lectures at various times - please message me for more info!

i am a dedicated and compassionate animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets in various settings. Having grown up around animals and worked in veterinary clinics, I understand the importance of providing attentive, loving, and safe care. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine passion for ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and comfortable while their owners are away.
I offer personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, including feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, and I prioritize creating a stress-free and enjoyable environment for every pet in my care.
I am committed to building trust with both pets and their owners, providing reliable, attentive, and responsible pet sitting services that give owners peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and happy, ensuring their well-being at all times.

As someone who grew up in a house with 3 dogs and 2 cats (and chickens!), I have always been someone who is very comfortable around animals. Going on a walk with the dogs was part of my usual routine when at home and so I feel very experienced in this area. I am well aware of the importance of a dog receiving a proper walk each day and lots of love and attention!
The dogs in my family across my lifetime have included Labradors, a Whippet/Labrador and a Border Collie so I am used to different sized dogs and their different needs. I love making friends with other dogs I meet and really getting to know their character! I am patient and gentle in my approach but able to be stern where necessary.
Alongside a genuine desire to get to know your pet better, I will be extremely careful in listening to you about any particular needs your pet may have and will ensure the care they deserve is given to them.
