Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Purley who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Purley neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Purley dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I have a cat Zuzia who is a rescue and when she came to me she was only 7 months and pregnant therefore i have experience of looking after pregnant cats, adult cats and kittens. I have looked after my friends and family members cats of different breeds, ages and gender. Our beloved Jenny, boxer is sadly not with us any more but has taught me a lot and has always remained in my heart and Lena, labrador is part of our family currently doing lots of resting and cuddle time. I love going on walks so would love to have a dog join me, i would adjust any type of care to the individual needs of the dog, I am also able to provide other types of care to dogs and cats, please message me to discuss details. Travel costs only if required. I live in Forestdale.

Hi!
I have been working as a vet receptionist since 2023 and it is the most rewarding job I have had. Daily contact with pets makes work feel enjoyable and I want to spend time looking after pets outside of my work hours too. I became a professional pet sitter with Very Important Pets around the same time I started my job at the vets and have been doing cat feeding visits, live-in cat and dog sits with many repeat clients. I am hoping that I can make these pet sits more regular by creating a profile on Pawshake.
I completed first-aid training and have working knowledge of emergency triaging for cats and dogs, as well as procedural knowledge about vet practices and medications. I am also aspiring to become a vet when the time is right, so I have a keen interest in small animal pathology and am trying to pick up as much as I can on the job.
Animals are my passion and I will treat your pets as I would my own dogs, who are my life.
I am quite flexible on Wednesdays and weekends in or around Croydon. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out!Looking forward to meeting you and your furbabies x

I've been extremely fortunate to grow up and spend a lot of time with dogs of all varying breeds (GSD, Spaniels, Terriers, Cockapoo's and Labradors). More recently I've been walking and sitting for family and friends dogs which I absolutely love doing. This includes looking after dogs from pups to senior dogs, as well as differing temperaments.
Alongside this I've spent a lot of time training my own dog Freddie, a working Spaniel, including looking to begin scentwork and gundog training. I spend spare time researching into different breeds to see how they tick, and I firmly believe there is nothing better than seeing a dog do what it was bred for! I've worked alongside a trainer with Freddie but also with training a friends dog so if there is any bits of training you'd like continued, I am open to discussing that with you!
I am currently in the process of moving into dog walking/dog boarding full time, and so looking for some regular clients that I can help with their dogs going forwards. I currently have a lot of availability which can also be discussed further as to what suits you best for both walks and drop ins particularly in hot weather. For dog boarding, I can only accept 1 dog at a time. There will be supervised free roam of the garden allowed as well as downstairs in the home. Freddie is crate trained so should your dog require a bit of alone time, I can put Freddie away for a couple of hours. I can walk your dog solo or alongside Freddie. It is preferable if your dog is also crate trained, however if your dog stays in it's bed through the night that is fine. There is no access upstairs.
I am based in Old Coulsdon which gives me great access to Farthing Downs, but also over towards the Kenley aerodrome area which also provides some lovely walks. At the moment I prefer to walk dogs solo so that I can give them my full attention to build a bond with them, and I also know of some quieter areas to walk if your dog prefers less interaction. If you prefer your dog to be walked on lead then I can provide a 5m or 10m lead too. At the moment I don't have access to a car so I'm a bit more limited to local areas (Coulsdon, Purley, Caterham) but I can easily use public transport to get a bit further out if needs be.

Hi! I’m Andreas, a passionate and reliable pet lover excited to care for your furry family members. Growing up with pets and having a sister who is a veterinarian has given me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and wellbeing. This background helps me provide attentive, informed, and loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs.I have experience looking after dogs, cats, and small animals, and I know how important it is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or simply offering companionship and affection, I’m committed to making your pet’s day as joyful as possible.I pride myself on being responsible, trustworthy, and flexible with schedules. I always maintain clear communication with pet owners, providing updates and peace of mind. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities, and I would love the opportunity to become a trusted sitter and friend to your beloved pets.Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends soon!

Hi I'm Dan!
Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember and for the past 7 years I have been lucky enough to spend all day with them at work too as a vet! In fact right now, I am offering a complementary nose to tail health check with each walk if you would like one for your dog!
I have learnt from my own dogs that they are all different when it comes to walks and so I like to focus on a personal and individualised service. I am happy with anything and everything between a quick block walk to a park walk for up to 1 hour.
I have experience walking puppies, adult dogs, older dogs, those with health issues and dogs who prefer to be on their own and avoid others. I am physically fit, can provide play and I am comfortable walking dogs on or off lead.
I look forward meeting you and your pet pooch!

I see your pet as more of your family member and want to treat them as such. Whatever your reason for going away; holiday, work etc, I completely understand you want your hairy friend to be looked after in the best way possible, and that's where I like to fit in.
I was brought up with a multitude of pets running around and see them as an integral part of the family. Their personalities differ, but they all need looking after - especially when the people they love are not at home. That's what I offer - someone they can trust to keep them safe, fed and watered until their family comes home to give them the duffles they're after.
If your companion needs medication ,I can help out (not injectable), and can also bring in your mail or even water your plants – as long as I've been briefed I will do my upmost to leave you worry-free. I don't offer grooming or training, but do offer you and your pets the trust you need until you return home to them.
Where and how long I would take your dog for a walk is really dependant on the age and type of your loved one, plus whereabouts you live in regards to available open spaces. I am always happy to discuss options prior to any posible booking.

Hi! I’m Kelly, an experienced and caring pet sitter and dog walker with a true passion for animals. I’m a proud pet parent to Nova, my energetic Bengal cat, so I fully understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member.
I love spending time outdoors and staying active, so dog walking is the perfect fit for me — your dog will enjoy fun, energetic walks and plenty of attention!
What I Offer:
Reliable daily dog walks (short, long, or high-energy walks)
Drop-in visits and check-ins
Feeding, water refresh, and basic medication if needed
Playtime, exercise, and cuddles
Regular updates and photos of your pet
I treat every pet like my own, and I make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a playful pup or a calm senior dog, I’m happy to care for pets of all sizes and personalities.
Let me give you peace of mind and your pet a new best friend!

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they are happy, safe, and well-cared for when their owners are away. I understand how important it is to feel that your pets are in trustworthy hands, and I love providing that peace of mind through attentive, responsible, and compassionate care.
Since moving to my current home, I’ve regularly looked after the cats of four different neighbours while they were on holiday. My responsibilities have included daily feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays, giving attention and playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and double-check details to ensure nothing is missed.
I do not take pets into my own home — instead, I care for them in their familiar environment, which I believe is less stressful and more comforting for them. I’m happy to water plants, collect post, and keep the home tidy, ensuring everything is just as you left it. Your pets will be treated as if they were my own, with the same care and attention to detail.

Having a years-old Mongrel dog of my own, I understand the importance of regular exercise and stimulation for canine companions. With a sporty nature and a love for the outdoors, I'm more than equipped to keep up with even the most energetic pups during our dog walking sessions. Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a brisk jog through the park, I tailor each walk to suit the needs and preferences of the individual dog, ensuring they get the exercise and mental stimulation they crave.
As a pet owner myself, I understand the trust and responsibility that comes with entrusting someone else with the care of your furry family member. That's why I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and a genuine love for animals in everything I do. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you can rest assured that your beloved dog is in capable and caring hands.
