Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Rumney who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Rumney neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Rumney dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I have 2 cats. I have taken care of them since they were 3 months old; now they are 2 years old.

One of them had respiratory problems, and the other one's tail was broken off by accident. I was taking care of both of them, and now they are staying healthy.

I have experience in cleaning wounds and feeding medicine.

I do the pet sitter because I love animals, not only the cat. Actually, I am a dog lover, but I adopt my two cat is because one day my friend found the stay cat mom and babies. They found many people adopt those cats, only two remain unadopted. So I adopted these two cats.

I love travelling, every time I go to travel, I need to find some people take care my cats, so I understand people worry their pet at home alone and hope someone can take care of them.

Being self employed - my availability is very flexible and I am happy to accomodate you and your pets needs

I will also deal with household tasks like collecting your mail, watering any plants, emptying dishwasher etc. I will ensure I clear up after myself and your pet and your house will be securely locked whenever I leave your home. Dogs will never be left for more than 5 hours at a time in a 24 hour period. **Please note, price is for 1 pet, each additional pet is an extra £5 per night

Hey neighbors! I'm a private nanny and dog walker/sitter. I love all animals, and have had many cats and dogs of my own, too! Growing up we had guinea pigs, cats, and big dogs. I loved them all!I'm proud to give you peace of mind while you're away from home, so you can be assured that your dog (or other critter) is relaxed, exercised, well-fed and happy.I will visit your home and take your pup for a walk, feed them, play with them and make sure they're generally doing aright while you're gone. I can even simply sit with nervous pets so that they have some company. If your dog is training (sit, heel, etc.) let me know and I can practice with them, too.I can also water plants, refresh litter trays, refill water for all pets, etc.!My nanny family will tell you that I'm reliable and hard working. For reference contact please get in touch.

I’ve had experience caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I naturally became the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and even now I’m usually the housemate people call when they need someone reliable to care for their pets while they’re away. This usually looks like keeping up with feeding/ filling up water bowls, routine walks, and playtime:).

During the pandemic, I fostered kittens as young as two weeks old, helping them with potty training, socialisation and at times medication administration! That experience taught me a huge amount about patience, attentiveness and individual care animals need to feel safe and comfortable.

Back home, I have both a dog and a cat who I miss dearly, so having the opportunity to care for your pets would genuinely be an honour. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I’ll always treat them with the same care, love, and attention I’d want for my own pets.

Hey there! I’m Navpreet, an 18 year old student, and I’m here to offer your pet a calm, loving, and safe space while you’re away. I believe that pets thrive in quiet, cozy environments—so I provide gentle care, with a focus on allowing your pet to feel at ease in their own time. I’m an Akita Inu enthusiast with plenty of experience caring for family pets, and I’ve created a space where animals can just be—whether that’s lounging together, getting a head pat, or simply enjoying each other’s presence.
I offer:

Flexible, reliable pet sitting (including overnight stays!)
Personalised, gentle care tailored to your pet’s needs (no loud noises or sudden movements)
Walks for smaller dogs (especially ones that don’t have dander!)
Playtime, cuddles, and chill vibes—I’m all about keeping things cozy and relaxed
Plant watering and light cleaning while I’m housesitting (bonus!)

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, which is why I prioritise safety, comfort, and a peaceful presence. Your furry friends will feel right at home with me, whether we’re bonding over some quiet time or a playful walk.
I can only offer petsitting for cats and low-dander dogs as I'm allergic to dog dander. But I grew up with a Japanese Akita (who is featured A LOT on my profile) who's hypoallergenic

Hi, I'm Grace. I'm 18 years old and have lived alongside animals my entire life. I'm used to caring for lots of different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, turtles, lizards and more! I love being around animals and i'm currently working towards a future career in zoology! I have tons of experience looking after all sorts of pets and i'm well aware of how to handle animals with disabilities and special needs. I currently have 5 dogs ranging from big to small (german shepherd, labrador, working cocker spaniel, jack russel mix, and a sausage dog/chihuahua !!) As a child i grew up with a snake and a german shepherd, living with such an intelligent breed of dog for most of my life gave me a huge range of knowledge and experience of how to properly mentally and physically engage with these animals to keep them happy and their minds active, along with having experience dealing with difficult situations and how to handle them safely and accordingly. I'm familiar with reactive dogs and have participated in many professional training classes, due to my german shepherd getting attacked as a puppy and developing a fear to dogs and any unexpected moving objects such as cyclists (i regularly walk a labrador/border collie with a fear of motorcycles). I adore long walks and i can walk dogs multiple times a day if necessary. I give all animals my personal attention and i love spending time with them, i'd also love to teach your animal new tricks. i'm happy to house sit.
Thank you!

About Me:
Hi! I'm a passionate pet lover with a lot of experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a white Samoyed and an orange cat at home, and I've successfully trained them beyond basic commands like sitting and turning around. I take great pride in my ability to ensure pets are happy, well-exercised, and comfortable.
Services:
I offer dog walking services and can take dogs to a nearby park where they’ll get a chance to stretch their legs and have some fun. I also make sure that dogs relieve themselves during walks (if requested by the owner) and ensure they return home safely. I’m very attentive to pets’ needs and make sure they’re never left unattended.
While I would love to also offer home care services, I do have some concerns about health and hygiene, particularly regarding fleas or contagious diseases. To make sure I provide the best care possible, I would appreciate it if pets in my care have current flea treatments and up-to-date vaccinations. If you have proof of these treatments or a recent vet visit, that would make me feel much more comfortable.
I’m committed to providing responsible and loving care for every pet I look after, and I hope we can work together to ensure your pet’s well-being and happiness.

I'm an experience pet sitter having 2 years of full time back to back pet sitting experience in multiple locations in the UK. Having taken care of more than 100 pets (dogs, cats, chicken, ferret, fishes) for 45 families including puppy and senior dogs who need medication and intensive care, I truly enjoy taking care of the furry babies and I would love to meet your pets! I have all 5-star reviews and references. Let me know if your dog has any special needs which I should take note of in terms of medical condition, behaviour, preference to interact with other dogs, children and adult. I love walking dogs and playing with them. Throwing ball is a must and a good run together. If your dog is a senior child and may not be able to walk that much, I would also love to enjoy some sunshine sitting in the park with him/her!
