ABOUT ME
I've cared for animals my entire life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and a parrot. These little guys miss you while you're gone, so I'm happy to throw a ball around the garden, dangle a string, or whistle a tune while also keeping their meal and medicine routine as normal as possible.
My speciality is rabbits, particularly house buns. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them do a flop or binky. In emergencies, I'm also trained to recognize signs of GI stasis and have experience administring critical care with a syringe.&nbsp;
I am certified in Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ).
WHY PET SITTING?
I'm already helping my wife, and her business is taking off. So, I'm committing full time. And believe me, giving extra pets and playtime to your furry friend is a lot more fulfilling than my former 9-5.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
I've assisted on 11 pet sits in Bristol since my wife started her business in May, caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, winning over skittish cats and befriending the social ones, gaining the trust of two loveable buns, giving some shell scratches to a tortoise, and becoming a duet partner to a cockatiel who adores being the center of attention.
Two of those visits involved medicine, including one where the pills needed to be swallowed whole, not with food.&nbsp;

My love for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my teenage years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for a whole menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even chickens!I have a calm, loving, and confident presence, shaped by many years of working with children and people with disabilities. While I haven't owned a dog of my own yet, I have spent plenty of time around furry friends through friends and family. I've reached a point where my daily walks feel a bit empty without a four-legged companion, which is why I'd love to help look after yours! 
What I offer:
1. Dog walking: I offer 30-minutes or 60-minutes walks in your local neighbourhood or nearby parks. (I always keep dogs on-lead for maximum safety, I'm happy to dry them off with a towel if it's a typical British rainy day)
2. Drop-in visits: perfect for when you're at work or away for the day. (I will refresh their water, feed them according to your instructions, and manage the treat tax delivery)

I’m Buke, a passionate animal lover and experienced pet sitter living in Bristol. For as long as I can remember, I have felt a deep connection with animals. They are not just pets to me, but wonderful companions with unique personalities, emotions, and a special way of communicating with us. One of my biggest motivations for becoming a pet sitter is being far from my own beloved pets. I have two wonderful pets, though they currently live with my parents while I complete my master’s degree in Bristol. My 8-year-old tortoiseshell cat is independent and full of character, while my 5-year-old mixed Akita dog is incredibly loving, loyal, and protective. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, providing services such as feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship. Because my accommodation does not allow pets, I offer pet-sitting in the owner's home, ensuring your pet stays comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I am also attentive to any specific needs, including dietary requirements, medications, or special routines.

We have used Pawshake previously to look after our two adored cats. Through our positive experience, we are keen to offer this service to other cats and owners in our area (North Bristol). We know how important it is to have peace of mind and be reassured that our pets are being well looked after while we are not at home.
I have many years of experience looking after dogs and cats for friends and family. Feeding, walking and offering cuddles if wanted. When I was younger I travelled around the UK and Canada, house and pet sitting, both dogs and cats. This is one of the best jobs I've ever had.
My teenage son, Lansana and I love animals and our cats, who are now 5, are important members of our family. We would like to spread the love to other pets and be rest assured they are in good hands with us. We are not able to take pets into our home at the moment, but we are more than happy to walk and look after your cats or/and dogs in and around your own home.


I am an experienced dog owner, sitter, and walker. I have owned terriers and lived around rescue animals since childhood and have experience sitting for whippets and greyhounds and walking small, medium, and large breeds including bullies. I am a keen hiker and runner and am happy to take your dogs on long hikes or countryside routes as well as routes within Bristol and surrounding towns.
I am willing to take one-time clients and very keen to take long-term walking jobs. If you're looking for someone for regular dog-walking, especially if your dogs are high energy and require multiple hour walks, or if you're looking for someone for day-time sitting I'm your guy. I will not do off-lead walks until I am comfortable with and trust your dog.
I do not have my own vehicle currently and so I am only offering walks local to your home. I am willing to travel to reach you. My rates are set to allow me to make minimum wage: my walk services are £12.25/hr, with my minimum walk time being 1hr (pawshake takes a 25% cut).


Hello my name is Gemma and I live in Fishponds.&nbsp;I stepped away from Pawshake for a little while whilst my kids were growing up, but now I'm back and can't wait to start visiting your pets again. I currently work from home which I share with my family which includes our two cats Ivy and Rosie, our two rabbits Brandyn and Jaygo and our three chickens (who you can see sunbathing on our decking below)  I love animals but know what a pain it can be when you need to travel. I will happily look after your pets whilst you are away, and give them the attention and reassurance they need. If your pet wants to have a little play or cuddle i can do that. I am happy to look after elderly and disabled cats, and can administer medication as required. I am experienced with insulin injections.I have also previously been a volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust and have also previously rehomed hamsters, rats, chickens and a tortoise. Before kids I volunteered at Bristol Zoo, where I helped with the husbandry of spiders, reptiles, giant snails and cockroaches.&nbsp;Whilst you are away I will send you updates and photos so that you know your pets are doing okay. I'm also happy to put bins out, water plants, draw curtains etc.  Please feel free to contact me to discuss your pet needs, and I will ensure that your pets remain happy and looked after whilst you 're away. Hi, my name is Ashley and let's just say I love animals more than I love myself . But in all seriousness I adore animals with all my heart, I will always put my full attention on the animal I'm looking after as I've had experience in the past looking after animals such as dogs and cats away from my home such as Feeding,walking,playing and cleaning up after. I especially love cuddly playful animals. A rule I like to do when pet sitting is always try to text a photo update of the animal I am looking after to the owner to try and ease any worry the owner has as if it was my pet being looked after I would like to know as much as possible how it's going on.&nbsp;
