Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Timperley who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Timperley neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Timperley dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Here is a recent 5 star review from a Housesit in london looking after a dog and 2 cats:
"A pleasure to have Sharon and Dave staying. The pets were all really well looked after and Sharon shared lots of updates. Our Labrador was looking for them when we came home - can't ask for more. House was clean and tidy. No hesitation in recommending them as excellent sitters" Natasha, Totteridge March 2024
I have done many previous house and petsits over the last 10 years through various organisations. Please get in touch if I can help you out.
More general information about me and my experience and services is given below.
My name is Sharon and I'm a mature married lady; former librarian working in medical and health services and live in my own home with retired husband. We have a wonderful rescue dog called Jazz who is Kelpie X Border Collie who is now 14 years old. She keeps us company and we love her dearly.
Whilst travelling overseas we offer house and pet sitting services as a way of reducing costs but also for the chance to enjoy the company of other people's pets whilst away from home. It's a great way to meet like minded people and the local community. I understand how important it is to be reassured that your pet is well looked after and loved as we want the same for our dog when we go away. She is the most valued in our home - more than any possessions.
I have extensive experience of pet sitting both dogs and cats and can provide testimonials. This includes lots of different breeds, puppies, multiple dogs together and administering medication to both dogs and cats. I also have experience with rescue animals. Your home will also be well looked after and kept clean and tidy. I have criminal record clearance as was required by my job working in a public hospital for Government. I am a vegetarian non smoker and live a quiet life. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to assisting you.
Please ask any questions to enable you to make a decision. Happy to meet beforehand or online via social media/zoom etc.

As a lifelong animal lover, I offer more than just pet care - I provide a loving and safe environment for your furry friend. My experience includes caring for a senior dog with special needs, raising & training my current dog since she was a puppy and looking after the dogs of friends and family. This has given me a broad understanding of different canine needs and behaviours.I understand how to care for dogs with varying energy levels, including my own energetic dog who requires constant walks and attention throughout the day (she's currently living with my parents due to my current home not allowing pets!).
I'm skilled with understanding dog body language, and i'm always ready for playtime, ensuring your dog gets plenty of attention and exercise. What sets me apart is my dedication to your dog's safety and happiness; I'm very protective and treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, ensuring they enjoy our walks and playtime to the fullest.
I have experience walking dogs with reactivity ensuring safe and positive walks and I'm committed to following your specific instructions and routines to ensure your dog feels comfortable and secure. I typically plan my walks through fields and woods to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise & I'm also happy to drive to locations that you'd prefer.

Currently, I'm dedicating my time to dog/ pet sitting and walking, allowing for a flexible schedule to meet your pet's needs. I work part-time hours on the weekend but this will be updated on my profile, my priority remains providing exceptional care for your pets.
I also have experience owning/ caring for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters& Guinea pigs and understand how to handle them safely, clean their enclosures, change bedding & feeding.

As a lifelong cat and dog lover or all around animal lover, I treat every pet with the utmost care, respect, and affection. My professional journey began as a kennel assistant, managing the daily care of over 30 dogs. This role gave me extensive experience in handling strict dietary requirements, administering medication, exercising various breeds, and basic grooming.Since then, I have operated a trusted dog-walking service for friends, family, and word-of-mouth clients.Cats also hold a very special place in my heart; I am a proud owner of three feline companions that own my heart and have provided dedicated cat-sitting services in the past.Whether walking your dog or watching your cat, I understand that pets are cherished family members. You can completely trust me to care for your kitties and pups be it walking or sitting, as if they were my very own, ensuring they stay safe, happy, and loved Outside of pet sitting and walking, i work at a before and after school club in urmston and between that I'm a self employed cleaner which gives me some freedom and flexibility with hours

Hi! I’m Eira, a lifelong dog lover originally from Mexico and now living in the UK. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, especially Beagles, a breed I know and absolutely love!
I work from home, which means I can provide plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day.
I offer dog walking, home visits, doggy day care and house sitting. My walks usually last around 30–60 minutes and can be adapted to your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine, with plenty of exercise, playtime and fresh air.
For doggy day care, your dog will stay in a calm and comfortable home environment. I live in a house with a fully enclosed garden, and there are no other pets or children in the home. As I work from home, your dog will have company for most of the day and would only be left alone for short periods if absolutely necessary.
I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and care routines so they feel comfortable and settled. Before a booking, I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet to get to know you and your dog.
My priority is simple: making sure your furry family member feels safe, happy and loved while in my care!

Hi! I love dogs but unfortunately due to my job I'm unable to commit to full time care of a dog, but my boyfriend and I have completed training with Guide Dogs to provide respite Foster care in our area and we've had 2 lovely and very different dogs stay with us so far which we've loved.
We offer doggy daycare across the week, dog walking and overnight stays at our home.
I work from home on a regular basis, we live in an end of terrace house on a quiet street. The living space downstairs is all open plan providing space for your pet to walk around freely while being in full sight. There is a yard at the back of the house with a small garden for toilet breaks, there is a working tap in the yeard for any cleaning after muddy walks as well as cleaning up after any messy toilet breaks!
There is a park at the bottom of our street (a 3 min walk) as well as a lovely canalside walk with a playing field a 10 minute walk away. I'm used to daily walks by myself or with a dog!
We have no other pets or children in the house and happy to accept all shapes and sizes of dogs! We would only be comfortable accepting fully vaccinated pets.

I’ve taken care of pets from a young age, and in the last five years I have done this professionally and I love it! I have always been the go too friend or family member to care for pets when they are away or have to leave them in the house too long for some reason, but now I get to do this professionally and much more often. Getting to meet and care for various different types of Dog’s, Cat’s and Rabbit personalities!
I am trained in Pet First Aid & CPR, Animal Training & Pet Sitting and I have a DBS.

I have flexibility during the day for drop-in visits and walks, and can usually work around owners’ schedules.I’m organised and reliable when it comes to giving your pets the time and attention they need.

When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always respect their space and routine, making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I follow instructions closely, from feeding to playtime, and I’m DBS checked and trained in Pet First Aid & CPR for extra peace of mind. I’ll also send updates and photos so you know your pets are happy and well cared for.

For drop-in visits, whether it’s dogs or cats, I make sure the time is spent doing what they love best - from playing games and practising training (if you’d like me to continue this), to offering plenty of cuddles and company. Each visit is completely personalised to your pet’s needs and personality.

For dog walks, I tailor each outing to what your dog enjoys most. If they’re confident off the lead, I like to explore local nature areas where they can have a good run and sniff, or head to the park for a fun play session. I work with you to completely personalise this to your pet’s needs and personality.

It’s really helpful for me to know your pet’s nature and personality - for example, if they show any signs of aggression, are territorial, or how they are around children and other pets. I’d also love to know their favourite activities and what brings them comfort, so I can make them feel happy and secure. Any feeding routines, treat preferences, allergies, or health issues are also important for me to be aware of, so I can give the best and safest care possible.
