Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Woodley who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Woodley neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Woodley dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Lots of pet experience — we’ve cared for dogs and cats with different personalities, ages and routines.
Someone home most of the day — Anja works from home as a romance novel translator and makes her own hours, so pets get plenty of company.

️ We genuinely enjoy animals — we like getting to know each pet and making sure they feel comfortable and settled.

Our lifestyle
We love a quiet, relaxed life and spend our free time exploring the countryside, visiting National Trust properties, browsing farm shops and finding cosy cafés. We especially love places where we can bring dogs along!
Because Anja works from home and has flexible hours, we’re particularly suited to pets who enjoy having someone around during the day or don’t like being left alone for long periods.
Our goal is simple: you get to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are happy, cared for and sticking to their normal routine.

I work from home for part of the week, which means I can give plenty of time, attention and care to a furry guest. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around, and pet sitting is something I do with love, not just as a job.
My daughter absolutely adores dogs, and spending time with them brings her a lot of joy.
Unfortunately, at the moment, we are not able to have a second dog permanently, so welcoming a visiting dog into our home is a wonderful solution for us. Your pet will never feel alone here — there is always someone around for cuddles, playtime and calm companionship.
I currently have a small female griffon at home, so for everyone’s comfort and safety I prefer to take small or medium-small dogs. This helps ensure a peaceful and friendly environment where all dogs feel relaxed and secure.I treat every pet as an individual, respecting their routines, habits and personality.
I’m happy to follow your instructions carefully and make sure your dog feels at home, safe and well cared for while you’re away.

Hi, my name is Raminta!
I grew up with pets who were very loved and well taken care of. I have looked after dogs, cats, parrots, and a wonderful betta fish, I've also spent time volunteering at a cat shelter. Unfortunately, I’m not able to have a pet of my own right now, which is why I would love to spend my time looking after other people’s pets. You know your pet best, so I guarantee I will follow your instructions and will immediately contact you in case there are any issues. And of course I will make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention and playtime. I'm more than happy to provide regular photo and video updates with my service. My goal will always be to make sure your pet is safe and happy. Please feel free to contact me for a further discussion.

I’m a university student at the University of Reading studying for my Environmental Science undergraduate degree, with a genuine love for animals and their wellbeing.
Alongside my studies, I’m currently working towards my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award - nearly there! and starting this year to volunteer with Soulscape at Reading Festival, as well as being a leader with Girlguiding. These experiences have made me responsible, reliable, and confident in caring for others.I hold a recent enhanced DBS check, so you can feel assured your pet and home are in safe hands. I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and in their routine, and I’d love the opportunity to provide that care while also supporting myself through my studies.
Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pet like my own. ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. offering persitting in your home, drop ins, and walks.

I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember and for the last 11 years I have been the proud dog mum of a Cavapoo called Louie. As someone who absolutely adores dogs and has years of experience caring for them, I know just how important it is that your furry friend gets the love, exercise, and attention, even when life gets busy.I am reliable and caring and will adapt to your dog’s personality and routine whether it’s a gentle stroll, a high energy walk, or simply some comforting company during the day. Every dog is treated like one of my own, with plenty of cuddles, care, and fun.I've also volunteered at the local dog rescue as a dog walker and I like to help out with friends dogs when I can. I struggle to walk past a dog without saying hello!Over the years I have also owned, horses, rabbits, hamsters and a whole tribe of guinea pigs!Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog WalkingDiploma in Canine CommunicationFully insured and DBS checked.

I am aware of a lot for work but also have a lot of free time so offering my services on an ad-hoc basis. I have my own transport so happy to come to you, within limits.I'm kind, responsible and fun whilst able to be firm when required. I am also available to look after cats and other small animals.I am currently based in central Reading. I am a keen park runner so familiar with the nearby parks. I am happy to tailor exercise to each dogs own personal requirements.
Pets are comfortable, happy and safe with me.I look forward to hearing from you.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Becoming a dog walker lets me combine my love for animals with staying active and spending time outdoors, something I genuinely enjoy every day.

During walks, I always follow a calm, structured routine. I start by giving each dog time to get comfortable with me, then tailor the walk to their needs. energetic dogs get longer, more stimulating routes, while older or more nervous dogs get gentle, steady walks with plenty of reassurance. I’ve handled a wide range of breeds, from small breeds like Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to medium and large breeds like Labradors, Huskies, and German Shepherds. I’m used to reactive dogs that need extra space, strong pullers who require steady guidance, and shy pups who simply need patience and a calm presence.

Safety is my top priority. I always double-check harnesses, avoid risky areas, stay alert around other dogs.

I’m always learning and improving, I’m currently working on developing stronger leash-handling skills and understanding dog body language even better, so I can respond quickly and calmly in any situation.

Your pets deserve the same love, safety, and attention they get at home, and that’s exactly what I’ll give them. ️
