Hey there!&nbsp;
I'm James, an experienced dog owner living in South Manchester. I have my own cockapoo (Gnocchi) and have experience walking other dogs before getting my own. 
I often work evenings which leaves me free during the day so I'm looking to fill my time by spending it walking other people's dogs. 
Happy to take your pup on long walks or home visits or dog boarding in my own home as long as they're vaccinated. I live in a house with a big back garden that's fully fenced with plenty of space to run around in.&nbsp;
I own my own car so if you're a little of the way I'm happy to travel within reasonable distance. Typical walks will involve parks and some play in a gated off area with or without my own dog depending on your preference. I'm comfortable walking dogs of all ages and sizes and the car has a fitted dog seat and safety harness suitable for any size of dog. Locally I have lots of green areas, including large parks and areas that are completely closed off and secure for off lead fetch.&nbsp;
Home visits are usually an hour long or two visits for £15.

Since moving to Manchester with my boyfriend last summer, leaving my family pets behind, I've missed having dogs in my everyday life more than you could ever imagine. 
I love all breeds, big and small and am a huge dog lover, through and through! I've always owned labradors but truthfully have no preference.
I have been a dog sitter for the last 4 years (3 years in London, 1 year in Manchester) but have always owned dogs throughout my life. As a result of this, I am familiar with a safe environment that is required for animals, and know how to build trust with both people, and their pets. Additionally, I can administer medication when/if required.
We live in a flat, with no garden or balcony but have an outdoors area directly at the front of our building, and the canal and other large outdoor spaces nearby for plenty of dog walking adventures. 
Pets are allowed on the furniture and will be treated as our own when in our company. 

I’ve always had a deep love for animals — they’ve been such an important part of my life. I’ve cared for cats and dogs for many years, and now I have my own lovely cat living with me here in the UK. She came all the way from China, and taking care of her through that big journey has taught me so much about patience, trust, and gentle communication. I can feed them, refresh their water, clean litter trays, give medication if needed, and spend time playing or cuddling — whatever makes them feel safe and loved while you’re away. Hi, our names are Kieron and Emily and we are the owners and service facilitators of local Manchester pet service Pet Valet MCR. 
Working late or away on business? Fancy a holiday or a long weekend away? As difficult as it is leaving our furry friends alone at times, finding a temporary companion shouldn’t be! The Pet Valet is a home-based pet sitting service in the Manchester area, catered to dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more!
What do the home visits include?
Each home visit is entirely dependent on the customers’ requirements and what help their beloved pets need most, and these needs can be met by detailing them in an online or over-the-phone enquiry. However, a typical 30 minute home visit to your pet will most likely include:
•Being fed &amp; watered
•Being let out to use the toilet
•Litter tray/cage cleaning
•Fuss, playtime &amp; attention
•Short walks &amp; fresh air (Longer walks can extended for a small fee)
•Photo updates after each visit!
Who is Pet Valet MCR operated by? And who will be making my pets’ home visits?!
Pet Valet MCR is ran by owners and service facilitators, Kieron and Emily (that’s us!). We are a couple in our late 20's and have life-long experience being around animals and our love for them is immeasurable. We have particular experience working with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and house rabbits—but we are more than confident/comfortable to pet-sit any additional pets of a more… ‘extraordinary’ (shall we say?) species!
We are currently adopters to two RSPCA rescue house rabbits, Fran and Cooper (who aren't exactly thrilled about us working with animals other than themselves but they'll have to deal with it!).

x1 HOME VISIT: £20 for a 30 minute visit 
x2 HOME VISITS: £30 for x2 30 minute visits
