For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Bardowie for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Bardowie Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Bardowie sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! My name is Abbie , and I have a genuine love for animals of all kinds. Becoming a pet sitter is something I’m passionate about because I enjoy creating a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for pets while their owners are away. I understand how important pets are as part of the family, and I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and attention.
I have previous experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure they feel relaxed and loved. I am reliable, responsible, and committed to keeping pets happy and maintaining their normal routines as much as possible.
For the safety and wellbeing of all animals in my care, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. Cleanliness, supervision, and comfort are always my priorities. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in trustworthy and caring hands!
I have 3 animals that stay with me, 2 cats (shadow and willow) and a dog (lola). The cats will mainly stay upstairs in their room, whereas, my pup lola has full rein of the downstairs! Lola is a very friendly and sociable pup who loves making new friends whether that be animal or human! She gets on great with other dogs and loves long walks and going to dog fields to run around off lead! Whereas my cats just prefer to do their own thing and wind lola up my cats however will not take to another cat so i won't be able to take another cat into the home!

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company! I am currently unable to look after pets in my flat as my flatmates suffer from allergies, and so I would love the chance to walk, look after and hang out with dogs and cats whenever possible. cats and dogs of all dispositions welcome!

I am a qualified dog groomer with first aid training. I have previously worked as a dog walker and as a dog daycare assistant for the last 7 years. I have experience with a variety of breeds from toy breeds right up to Xl.
I grew up on a farm and have experience handling animals from a young age.
My whole world revolves around dogs and my dogs mean the world to me. One of my dogs is a rescue and we went through a year of behavioural modification so I have the understanding and patience for dogs that have particular needs. I have experience with every type of dog from puppy to senior. I have devoted myself to giving my rescue dog a happy and fulfilling life, and only trust a very small handful of people with him. As a result, dogs welfare and happiness is of the utmost importance to me.
I have worked with a lot of dogs throughout my career meaning that i have handled dogs with all kinds of issues. I pride myself on being patient and understanding and building a bond with dogs. I find it very rewarding!
I will usually only ever have 1 dog in my care along with my own. On the odd occasion I may have 2 but thats my maximum and depends entirely on whether the dogs temperaments are suited.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities for over 10 years, and it’s truly more than just a job — it’s what I love to do. From energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs, I provide patient, attentive, and loving care tailored to each dog’s individual needs.

I am Canine First Aid & CPR certified and fully licensed by Renfrewshire Council for dog boarding, giving you extra peace of mind that your dog is in safe, qualified, and compliant hands at all times. I use positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and consistency to help every pup feel comfortable, confident, and cared for — just like part of my own family. We are also registered with the local vets in our area in case of emergencies

I share my home with my friendly rescue dog, Frances, who has helped shape my calm, compassionate approach to dog care. She loves having playmates, and your pup will always be closely supervised in a safe, happy environment. I also have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor play and potty breaks.

A typical day in our home consists of between 2-3 walks per day - usually breakfast, lunch and dinner walks. We stay close to a local park as well as a cycle path so there's plenty of things for your pets to discover on their walks. We also provide lots of enrichment in the form of puzzle games and toys to ensure your pet is truly fulfilled during their stay with us
