For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Basildon for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Basildon Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Basildon sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

If you’re looking for a caring, reliable sitter where your dog will feel right at home, I’d love to help.

Hi there!
I’m a proud dog owner with two years of experience caring for both dogs and cats — and I absolutely love it. I’ve walked dogs of all sizes, fed both cats and dogs, played with them, and made sure they felt safe and happy while their owners were away.
Being around animals is always a joy for me, but I never let that joy distract me from their safety. I’m observant, responsible, and calm under pressure. I treat every pet like my own — with patience, love, and full attention.
One thing I enjoy doing is capturing little moments during the day and sending updates to owners. Whether it's a funny moment, a peaceful nap, or a happy tail wag, I’ll keep you in the loop so you can feel connected even while you're away.
I’m also comfortable following detailed instructions, routines, or any special care your pet needs. I'm usually available on weekends and during the day, so feel free to reach out and ask about specific times.
Whether it’s feeding, walking, cuddling, or just keeping your pet company, I’m here to help you and make your pet feel safe, seen, and loved every step of the way.

I have lived my entire life with pets. Mostly cats and dogs but I've also had a bird, rats, gerbils and a rabbit too! I couldn't imagine life without pets! As well as my own pets, I've cared for my friends and family's pets as well.
I also have 1 year of experience as a dog walker and pet sitterI am passionate about giving pets all the love they deserve. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, respecting the pet's personality to make them feel comfortable with me and trust me.I've had many cats and dogs in my life. At the moment, I have Tina, a rescue Lhasa Apso. Since living with us for the past 10 years, she has grown and developed so much; she is a fantastic addition to our family.I also have 3 cats and have taken care of many cats in past. They are all indoor-only cats, very loving and very attentive and are used to being around a dog. I am in early retirement and so I have lots of time to give to my pets and to yours. If your dog is used to being around cats I can board a dog happily, and they won't be left home alone, only on the occasion if I have an appointment, but that would be a maximum of 2 hours. Being at home, I have flexibility and availability for dog walks or drop-in visits for your cat or dog, making sure they get lots of love and attention. Having left my pets with sitters myself, I understand the anxiety this causes.
I will reassure you that your pet is doing well with updates and photos. It's so important to know our furry family members are being well looked after when you aren't with them.
