I work from home all day, so your pup will never be lonely. I have plenty of time to play, give belly rubs, and ensure they're well cared for throughout the day.

Our own friendly dog loves having playmates, so your pup will always have a buddy to run around with. In the afternoons, our kids are back from school, and they absolutely adore dogs, so even more love and attention for your pup. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just relaxing together, we make sure every dog feels like part of our family.
I have a large fenced garden for plenty of playtime and a friendly resident dog who loves making new friends. I understand that every dog is unique, so I follow their routine whether it is meals, walks, or snuggles just like they are used to. I am 52&nbsp;years of age I have had dogs for the last 25 years ranging from Great Dane , Mastiff to Bull Dogs I have house sat for Labradors, golden doodle, shutouts, jack Russell, border collie, German shepherd/border collie cross, a mongrel,a bull dog and French bull dog, daschund, Gordon Setter, cavapoo, cocker poo and a Rottweiler a variety of cats one being completely blind. I work in HR and work remotely so as long as I have an internet connection I can work anywhere 
I will love your pets like they were my own and shower them with loads of love and affection I love to go on long walks and have big furry cuddles this has become like my therapy where I go and look after peoples pets and love them and give them their home comforts. As long as my work allows I will walk dogs and if they have set routines where they meet up with furry friends I will try my hardest to ensure their routine is not affected.
I love to travel and I'm using this experience to see the uk and make new fur baby friends 
I do not drive but travel to my sits on the train or tube if in London and walk all dogs in the local area meeting up with doggy friends to try to give the dogs I'm looking after their usual daily routine
I work from home on a permanent basis so other than maybe going out on my own to get some shopping or necessities I will be at home with your pets and ensure they have as good an experience without their owners as is possible

We focus on gentle socialisation and playing, with many young dogs not having been able to socialise enough during Covid lockdowns. If you continue to work from home, it can be helpful for your dog to have a change of scenery and to meet new people and play with different dogs in a safe and well-supervised environment.

Induction Process
My focus is on dogs’ comfort with the appropriate blend of small companion dogs, getting to know my home, garden and some of the other dogs in my care. Unfortunately, boarding bookings for dogs who have not completed the induction process are not possible. If you have a holiday coming up, let's get the induction process completed to enable you to schedule a lovely holiday for your dog while you are away.
1 – One hour meet and greet for owner(s) and dog(s).2 – Four hour familiarisation session with you here for first half hour.3 – Eight hour day (or) overnight stay if you will be boarding.
One overnight stay is required before a longer-term boarding booking is accepted to ensure your dog will be comfortable.

Before Booking

Your dog should be at least one year old.
Please ensure your dog is housetrained.
Proof of being neutered / spayed.
Proof of annual vaccinations including kennel cough.

You Provide

Dog food that your dog normally eats.
Lead, collar/harness with ID tag.
You are encouraged to bring your dog’s bedding and favoured toys to ensure your dog feels at home.
Any necessary medicines and instructions.


During Your Dog's Stay

Lap of Luxury tags with our phone number attached to collar while in our care.
Daily pictures and updates.
Facetime/Whatsapp video calls with your dog when boarding.
Minimum of two 20-minute walks per day (or equivalent active playing in garden) during an eight-hour day care session; a third walk (or equivalent) per 24-hour stay in local parks and woodlands.
'Lead-always-on' policy during walks.
Coat brushed, paws, ears and eyes checked and cleaned daily.
Hills hypoallergenic treats and dried sprats (fish) provided with your permission.

Hi! I'm Heidi, a dog-loving, friendly and reliable sitter based in Watford (WD24). I may not have my own dog just yet, but I’ve spent the past two years caring for dogs for friends and neighbours, including walking, feeding, playtime and lots of cuddles! I also live with two cats, so I’m very familiar with reading pet body language and responding with calm care.
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from a genuine love for animals and a desire to spend more time with them. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members – someone who is patient, gentle, and responsible. That’s the standard of care I always aim to provide.
I currently offer dog walking and in-home daytime care (pet sitting) at the owner's home, as I’m not able to host dogs due to my cats. I'm available on weekdays and can be flexible with time and care routines. Happy to work with vaccinated pets only!
