For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Crosby for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Crosby Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Crosby sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I work from home and been pet sit / dog walking for over years, usually taking bookings through referrals, Pawshake is as an extra platform I often forget to come and block my days That's being booked offline, so feel free to DM and check I loves all animals, but always having a special place in the heart for dogs. Everyday is a new experience when you meet new pups & for sure is never a dull moment, and there's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I have much experience ranging from puppy to senior dogs and I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them, and lucky for me had some real guidance from the dog whisperer Cesar Millan in person and learned quite a lot from him of how to communicate with dog better, therefore, I'm proud of myself that I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I'm pretty flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, or if there's anywhere in particular you'd like your dog to visit, just let me know. Looking forward to meet you and your fur babies.

I'm Maksym, and together with my girlfriend Urszula, we believe that dogs are more than just pets—they're family and a person’s best friend. We hold a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care and Welfare, and for your peace of mind, we are both DBS-certified, fully insured, and licensed by Sefton Council (Licence No: MA046544). My training includes first aid, and we always keep a first aid kit at home. We also understand canine body language and communication, helping us interact with dogs and ensure their well-being.Caring for dogs is our full-time job, and we offer dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits. This means your dog will receive my full attention and enjoy my company throughout the entire day. We're dedicated to providing personalized, loving care that prioritizes your dog's happiness and well-being. We have a spacious home with a large, fenced garden, providing a safe outdoor space for your dog to enjoy without the risk of escaping. We have a variety of enrichment toys and a spacious garden for dogs to enjoy. Living near Lunt Meadows allows us to take dogs on regular walks in a beautiful, stimulating environment. All activities are tailored to your dog's individual needs, considering their age and temperament. We also provide plenty of toys designed to engage dogs both physically and mentally, ensuring they stay active, happy, and entertained. To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, owners must confirm that their dog:
• Is up-to-date on all required vaccinations (Canine Distemper, Kennel Cough, Parainfluenza, Infectious Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus, Leptospirosis).
• Receives monthly flea and tick prevention.
• Has had appropriate worm treatment.
• Has been in good health for the past 30 days.
• Is not aggressive toward other dogs or people.
• Is not an unneutered male or a female in heat.
• Does not suffer from severe separation anxiety.
For new dogs, we may request a trial night before confirming a booking. We also require a meet-and-greet session lasting 30 minutes to an hour to assess if your dog is comfortable sleeping in a new environment. The trial night is offered at no cost.We do not have children or pets of our own, but we cannot accept aggressive dogs. If your dog shows aggression toward people or other dogs, please refrain from contacting us.

Hello my name is Jenny.
I live in a house with my husband, two children and our 11 year old Jack Russell x Yorkshire Terrier. We have a secured garden so have a safe space for them to go outside if they need to. I have a perfect park local to me where I can take your dog(s). Your dog will get lots of exercise in a new exciting environment. I am a relaxed sitter so I am happy for your dog to curl up happily anywhere in the house (apart from my childrens bedrooms due to them being strangers to your pet), whether that be sofas, beds etc.
Please bring your pets own bed if this will help them to feel more at home. We will be as accommodating as we possibly can be.
As an animal lover I have always wanted to do something involving animals as part of my daily life. Your pet will never be left alone.
Thanks to my working patterns I am pretty flexible and can organise my free time very well. Therefore, I have decided to do something I love, taking care of animals.
Prior to a booking I would like to know also how many feeds per day and how much quantity, how many walks per day and how long they need to be walked for. I will also need to know about any medications that your pet requires, if I am to administer them. Please let me know if your pet chews so that we can provide that in a controlled way.
I am happy to crate your dog if that is what they are used to, and happy with, at home, but please provide their crate and blankets.
Any dogs MUST be happy with other dogs and children. Both of my children (10 and 16) are very respectful of all animals.
Any questions, please do get in touch!
