I am a student who’s grown up around animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I’ve lived with a dog for 5 years, a cat for 2 years, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different routines and personalities. My daily care usually includes regular walks,feeding on schedule and making sure pets get plenty of attention and affection. I live in a house with both a front garden and a secure backyard, which gives pets plenty of space to enjoy fresh air and play safely.

I offer pet sitting services, such as feeding, cleaning, and playing with your pets to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also make sure they will be safe and comfortable. I’m currently working part-time, and pet sitter, so we might need to discuss the suitable time but it’s usually easy to find a good time that works for both of us.

Any home feels a little empty without a pet, luckily growing up my home was never without one (several actually), but sadly since moving to Edinburgh I do not have any. Pet sitting gives me a great opportunity to spend time with loving fur friends, enjoy their unique mannerisms, and maybe go out for some nice walks! I don't have any character requirements I just want them to be themselves, whether your pet is energetic, shy, indifferent, growly, etc. It’s more about company, safety and care. Trust is earned and I put the time in to adapt to different pet’s needs and behaviours, with the hope they will feel comfortable and at home with me :)&nbsp;
I have always enjoyed caring for animals and the range of experience I have had branches from domestic animals to wildlife, with a diploma in animal management to support my interest. I have been intermittently pet sitting throughout the years, but more major roles include animal rescue work, habitat conservation, protection of endangered birds, and kennels and cattery work - so quite a mix. During this time, I have cared for various species and breeds; reptiles, dogs, rabbits, cats, and often dealt with behavioural difficulties or anxiety in animals.
I have listed the option of home boarding, having a small but cosy 1st floor flat in Edinburgh centre with aspacious communal garden. There is a little spare room in my flat that works nicely as a space for pets staying, and there are plenty of spots to retreat to/climb up for their own space. My primary job is a professional cleaner so you can also expect a high standard of cleanliness for your pet. To stay with me pets must be vaccinated and have up to date cards, so I hope that's okay :)&nbsp;

Hi! I’m Ricco and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with dogs and always had pets around me, so caring for them has been a big part of my life.
I moved from Hong Kong to the UK almost four years ago and have fallen in love with Edinburgh — it’s such a wonderful place to live and share with pets!
Back in Hong Kong, I worked in animal rescue for over 10 years, helping injured and newborn cats and dogs. This experience gave me the skills, patience, and confidence to care for pets of all kinds. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I am committed and responsible in everything I do for them.
Since moving to the UK almost four years ago, I have continued my dedication to pets. I brought with me two dogs I rescued from the streets, and caring for them has been a rewarding daily commitment.&nbsp;
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and my desire to give them comfort, care, and happiness while their owners are away. I am patient, responsible, and attentive, and I enjoy building trust with both pets and their families. I also offer services such as daily walks, feeding, and playtime, ensuring that pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay.I work from home, so I can spend a lot of time with them, provide companionship, and take care of their needs throughout the day. I make sure that the pets are taken at least three times a day, or more if needed.
There is a large lakeside park about a five-minute walk from my home, where I can take them for walks in the morning or in the evening. In addition, there is a fenced park just outside my back door where they can also go for walks and get some exercise
As I have previously worked in a large animal centre, I understand that different pets have different personalities. This allows me to manage and care for more than two pets from different households, helping them get along safely.
My home has three separate rooms, which makes it easy to keep pets apart when needed and gradually introduce them to each other at a comfortable pace. Pets are welcome to jump on the sofa and sleep, and they are also free to move around the house.
