For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Great Crosby for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Great Crosby Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Great Crosby sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! I’m a caring, reliable and experienced pet lover with over 10 years of experience looking after both cats and dogs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and becoming a pet sitter felt like the perfect way to combine my love for animals with helping owners feel relaxed while they’re away.

I’ve had cats my whole life and currently have two of my own, including a rescue cat I recently rehomed, so I’m very experienced with different personalities, nervous pets and rescue animals. I offer cat feeding visits once or twice daily, including feeding, litter changes, playtime and plenty of company and cuddles.

I also love dogs, especially small and medium-sized breeds. I work from home full-time from my garden office, meaning dogs staying with me receive lots of attention, regular toilet breaks, walks and companionship throughout the day. I have a fully secure fenced garden and can offer a genuine home-from-home environment.

I am happy caring for puppies, adult and senior pets, and I can administer oral medication if needed. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone, so I always aim to treat every pet as if they were my own and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos.

For the safety of all pets in my home, I only accept vaccinated pets for boarding and daycare services.

Hello my name is Jenny.
I live in a house with my husband, two children and our 11 year old Jack Russell x Yorkshire Terrier. We have a secured garden so have a safe space for them to go outside if they need to. I have a perfect park local to me where I can take your dog(s). Your dog will get lots of exercise in a new exciting environment. I am a relaxed sitter so I am happy for your dog to curl up happily anywhere in the house (apart from my childrens bedrooms due to them being strangers to your pet), whether that be sofas, beds etc.
Please bring your pets own bed if this will help them to feel more at home. We will be as accommodating as we possibly can be.
As an animal lover I have always wanted to do something involving animals as part of my daily life. Your pet will never be left alone.
Thanks to my working patterns I am pretty flexible and can organise my free time very well. Therefore, I have decided to do something I love, taking care of animals.
Prior to a booking I would like to know also how many feeds per day and how much quantity, how many walks per day and how long they need to be walked for. I will also need to know about any medications that your pet requires, if I am to administer them. Please let me know if your pet chews so that we can provide that in a controlled way.
I am happy to crate your dog if that is what they are used to, and happy with, at home, but please provide their crate and blankets.
Any dogs MUST be happy with other dogs and children. Both of my children (10 and 16) are very respectful of all animals.
Any questions, please do get in touch!
