Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up surrounded by pets. From a young age I helped care for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, and even an iguana, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel comfortable and loved.
I’ve been helping take care of dogs since I was about 6 years old. My family had several breeds over the years including German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and Pomeranians, which gave me experience with both large and small dogs and many different personalities. Being around so many breeds taught me how every dog is unique and needs patience, understanding, and proper care.
I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, feeding them, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy giving them the attention they deserve. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel secure, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
My goal is always to create a calm, caring environment where pets feel safe and relaxed. You can feel confident knowing your dog will be in responsible, loving hands and will receive plenty of attention and care.

Hi! My name is Mia and I’m 23 years old. I live in Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, in close proximity to Sherrardspark Wood, one of my go-to spots for relaxed, fun dog walks surrounded by nature! 

I studied animal care in college and I’ve been around animals my entire life. I previously worked at Pets at Home for over a year, so I’m very confident caring for pets day-to-day. I’ve also pet-sat for lots of friends and family, and have looked after many dogs and cats through BorrowMyDoggy. I’m a huge cat lover myself and grew up with them, so feline care is something I’m super comfortable with! 

I have two cats at my family home (not at my current address), so any pets I board will have my flat entirely to themselves. This makes it an especially calm environment for cats who prefer quiet, stress-free spaces. 

Services I offer:
1. Dog Walking
30–45 minutes tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a gentle stroll or an energetic walk. Plenty of exercise, fresh air, sniffing time, and bathroom breaks.

2. 1x Visit a Day
Up to 1 hour. Perfect for cats, dogs, rabbits, or small animals. Includes feeding, litter cleaning, fresh water, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and company.

3. 2x Visit a Day
Two visits, ideal for cats who need medication, kittens who need more attention, or dogs that get lonely during the day.

4. Doggy Day Care
Supervised care in my home: walks, playtime, and plenty of company.

5. Boarding (Cats &amp; Dogs)
Overnight care in a safe, comfortable environment. Cats get a peaceful, quiet space, enrichment, brushing (if they enjoy it), and all the cosy spots they like to explore. Dogs get walks, play, and plenty of affection.

Other pets (cats, rabbits, fish, small animals etc.) Happy to discuss needs and pricing separately.

I’m available seven days a week and happy to fit visits or walks around your schedule, just let me know what works best for you! 

Please let me know in advance if your pet has any medical conditions, is elderly, requires medication, or needs any special care. I’m confident with all breeds, ages, temperaments, and species.

Growing up with three excitable, cuddly, and needy Cavachons, I am well-experienced with pups of all needs, ages and personalities.
Bertie is a beautiful big boy, a big foodie, with melting, loving big brown eyes, my own Paddington bear.&nbsp;
Arlo is a small boy (despite being 7 years old) who needs the constant comfort of sitting on your chest. He's not above a chew toy and follows me from room to room like a little shadow. I'm well-versed in having an eagle eye and preventing the roll in fox poop because of this boy.
Louis the baby (though not baby-sized anymore) is a bouncy boy who needs lots of stimulation and exercise but this doesn't take away from his cuddly, loving side. He never fails to make me laugh with his antics. I miss my boys very much and would give your dogs all the love and attention I can no longer give my own, as they live with my parents.&nbsp;
I have good authority and recall training, understand strict diet control and when to give that inciting treat. I can offer cuddles, comfort, playtime and general care and attention.
Despite not owning a cat of my own, I have cat-sat and given lots of love and attention to many cats. I have had 4 rats over the last 20 years so I am also well acquainted with caring for rodent friends.&nbsp;
My house is tidy, clean and has hardwood floors as well as a medium-sized garden with plenty of space to sniff, do business and run around in the grass.

Growing up in a family that always has pets, being around and taking care of them is second nature to me. I'm 38, married and a dad of two lovely boys (7 and 3) and a Cat called Piper (2 years old). I'm currently flexible Monday - Friday in the evenings after work and at weekends. I'm Available for stay overs, house sitting, walks only, sit- ins and general pet company as needed. I&nbsp; love all animals especially dogs and cats ,I've worked for years as self employed courier and decided to give it up so I could follow my passion and look after dogs in my home. I started to look after dogs recently and I have boarded at least ten dogs in a short period of time I'm still looking after a puppy who is a long stay two months and it's fantastic to be his guardian for awhile. I'm a stone throw from a large park&nbsp; I make sure the dogs in my care are walked three times a day and they are given activities to stimulate them and keep them happy, I also have a back garden and a gate to keep the dogs safe ,&nbsp; I have large room inside my home the dogs seem to prefer sleeping on my sofa lol. The service I provide is dog boarding and day care I even take on puppies if need be, I'm available for boarding and day care right through till Christmas and short notice is accepted if there is space . I always keep dogs on a leash when out walking I know quite a lot of people with dogs on my local park and have never had a problem with any of them all well behaved. Over the years I've cared for many pets, now I have time on my hand I'm home all day I've got time to play your pet is in safe hands. I like routine so it's perfect for me I love exercise which is ideal to fit in with my daily routine, I'm a stone throw away from a large park I have a large living area and upstairs space also a back garden which I'm doing up. Because I no longer work I have free time to do what I enjoy and that's looking after and walking dogs and cats. My routine is simple home all day apart from visits to the shops for essential items, otherwise pet care fit's handsomely into my daily routine. I have a large living area to board and sit dogs and also three rooms upstairs so I can usually board 4 dogs at the same time my garden is also large although I prefer going to the park which is one minute away.&nbsp;

 What’s Included?

 Dog Walking: Walks typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs. I can take them on their usual route or explore a nearby park for some playtime and exercise.
 Home Visits: Each visit lasts 30–60 minutes, during which I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, play with them, and take care of any other needs. I can also water plants and bring in the mail if needed!
 Overnight Pet Sitting: If you need me to stay overnight, I’ll ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable, sticking to their routine as much as possible. I also take home security seriously, making sure doors are locked and the house is secure while you’re away.

🩺 Special Care

 If your dog needs oral medication, I can safely administer it.
 I can bathe and dry small dogs (up to 10kg) for £18 upon request. The cost will be discussed and added to the final price before booking.
