For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Horbury for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Horbury Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Horbury sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! I’m Mollie, an experienced dog lover living by the beautiful quays, and I’m proud paw-rent to my friendly, vaccinated sausage dog, Han.
I offer reliable, loving pet care, including walks, playtime, daycare, and boarding.
We live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a huge pet-friendly area, perfect for indoor fun, and an outdoor mezzanine where dogs can safely play and explore. Han is social and gets along with all dogs, making him a perfect companion for your furry friend.
Safety is always my top priority: I carefully manage interactions between multiple dogs and tailor care to each pet’s personality, energy levels, and needs.
Living by the quays means your dog will enjoy scenic walks and plenty of fresh air, while indoor and outdoor spaces ensure they can run, play, and relax comfortably. Han and I love making every pet feel happy, secure, and part of our family.

Hey! I’m Magda, a prosthetist based in Leeds. I’ve grown up with animals and understand their unique personalities, quirks, and routines. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I really miss having that companionship around, which is why I love spending time caring for other people’s pets.
Whether it’s cuddling with cats, walking dogs, or looking after small pets, I’ll make sure your friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I understand that every pet is different, so I always take the time to learn their individual needs, habits, and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure.
I have experience caring for both cats and dogs through petsitting for friends and family, and I’m confident handling a variety of personalities and temperaments. My priority is always to ensure that they feel relaxed, well cared for, and receive plenty of attention and affection.
You can count on me to be responsible, trustworthy, and reliable. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your friend is in good hands. I’m also more than happy to meet before any booking.
Drop me a message if you have any questions️

As a lifelong dog mum I know how vital it is to feel your best pal is in the safest of hands whilst you are away! I live with 2 charming Cavalier King Charles who love to be around other dogs and are happy to share their home.
Chester's House & Gardens, fully licensed (with Kirklees Council) & insured Dog Home Boarding provides a home away from home for your best pal with luxurious accommodation and meticulously personalised care in terms of feeding, exercise, medications and anything else your pal needs
Chester, our Boss says "We make sure that your best friend becomes ours too. Our large secure garden is where we can play out and have loads of fun at anytime, Roise (my sister) and I both love racing around it. Long walks over fields with our mum Sharon are something we really enjoy doing and often we call at a coffee shop on the way back, sometimes Sharon gets us a sausage to share! In the evenings we curl up on the sofa until it's time for bed." That's what your pal would do too when they stay with us.

I’ve always grown up around dogs and have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I currently have a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel, so I’m very used to the fun, walks, cuddles and occasional chaos that comes with having a dog!

I have a very pet-loving home and would treat your dog as if they were my own. I understand every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable, settled and well looked after.

I can offer plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles and a cosy home environment. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been up to.

Your dog would be joining a loving home where they’ll receive lots of fuss, care and attention while you’re away. I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and completely at home. 🤍

I have been a cat lover all my life including working in Catteries and volunteering with cat rescues. I also offer dog walks and home boarding for small domestic animals in my own home (no cats or dogs).I am married with 2 children and we have one cat called Eddie. I have owned cats since I was young adopting my first cat that we named Bagpuss. Hello, I'm Nicky :)
I have extensive experience walking dogs, having spent the past six months walking two of my neighbors' dogs every weekday. This daily routine has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of different dog behaviors and needs.

I offer dog walking and home visit services for cats and dogs, ensuring your pets are well-cared for even when you're not around. Unfortunately i wont be able to provide any services in my own home (mum won't be too happy haha).
My schedule is fully flexible, allowing me to accommodate your needs and provide reliable, loving care for your furry friends. My priority is to build trusting relationships with pets and their owners, ensuring passionate care.
By choosing me, you can rest assured that your pets will receive personalised attention and exercise tailored to their preferences, fostering their health and happiness.

I have experience with [specific types of pets, e.g., dogs, cats, etc.], and I enjoy engaging them in activities that promote their happiness and well-being.
I believe that each pet deserves individualized care, and I am committed to ensuring they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I would love the opportunity to contribute to your pets’ happiness and well-being.
I pride myself on being reliable and attentive. I offer daily updates and photos to pet owners, providing peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to create a safe, stimulating environment where pets can thrive. I enjoy engaging pets in activities that promote their happiness, whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply cuddling on the couch.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I am also trained in pet first aid and CPR, giving me the confidence to handle any emergencies that may arise. I understand the importance of maintaining a routine that aligns with each pet’s needs and preferences.
