For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Ilkeston for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Ilkeston Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Ilkeston sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I was brought up on a farm and have been around animals all my life. Animals are my passion and make me happy.
I have been offering my boarding services for a few years now and my dogs and myself adore the daily walks & I love the extra company.
So I thought why not expand our hospitality and make some new fury friends.
I myself work from home as an insurance advisor so if you decide to come visit, you can rest aside your fury friend will never be left alone.
I live by myself in a two bed semi house and do have a small back garden which is completely secure with high fences and no chance to escape, and the rest of the house is free for your dog to roam around.
I own two 12 year old mixed breed females and have recently adopted a three year old French Bulldog. They love it when other dogs come to stay with us... I also own a tortoise who loves dogs

As an experienced pet sitter with over a decade of dedicated care for cats and dogs, my passion for animals drives everything I do. I find immense joy and fulfillment in ensuring the health, happiness, and wellbeing of furry companions while their owners are away. My extensive experience has honed my skills in providing tailored care, from precise feeding plans to meet each pet’s dietary needs to administering medication, offering engaging exercise, and providing heartfelt companionship.
I am deeply committed to the safety and health of every pet in my care, which is why I maintain a strict policy of accepting only vaccinated pets into my home. This ensures the protection of all animals under my supervision, giving owners peace of mind.
In addition to my extensive experience, I hold a pet first aid certification, enabling me to promptly and effectively handle any emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets in my care
Looking ahead, I am excited to further my expertise by enrolling in a veterinary nurse course, which will enhance my ability to deliver exceptional care with even greater knowledge and professionalism. With my unwavering dedication, proven expertise, and genuine love for animals, I strive to provide pet owners with the confidence that their beloved companions are in caring, capable hands.

Hello!
My name is Georgia - lovely to meet you! I have a little dog named Arlo, he is 4 years old and my absolute world! I love all animals and have had dogs all my life - the more the better! I would love to help you with your little one too, you can trust that they will be in the most loving hands and I will treat them like one of my own! Happy to walk alongside Arlo, as I work from home 4 days a week, or more than happy to pop in to see your little one(s) whilst you are away from them! Also great with medications, as Arlo needs a few different ones, so a pro at this point!
Looking to earn a little extra money, whilst meeting some news furry friends! Can be as flexible as possible to suit your needs.

Before Your Dog’s Stay.
To help us provide the best possible care, please let us know:
Your dog’s daily routine (feeding, exercise, and toileting)
Dietary requirements, preferences, or allergies
Any medical conditions or medications
Behavioural traits or concerns
Whether your dog experiences anxiety when left alone
Any habits such as chewing or resource guarding
How they behave when out on walks and their recall ability
Any special requirements or preferences
The more information you provide, the better we can tailor your dog’s stay and make them feel at home.
Meet & Greet
We are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before booking, giving you the opportunity to visit our home, meet our Resident Dog , and ensure we’re the right fit for your dog.
During meet-and-greets our dog may react on a way of being protective of his territory, which is normal, but he will settle down, and in general he's a very laid back dog, spends most of his day sleeping.

BLACK PAWS Pet Care & Boarding Treating your dog like family while you’re away. ️

Hey! I'm Jade, a nurse, a mum, and a crazy cat lady. You may have seen me chatting to cats in your local area and giving them lots of fuss. I am the proud owner of a ️ spicy ️ 16 year old cat, who I have had since she was 8 weeks old. I am picky with who sits my cat when I am away, so can empathise with how hard it is to find your perfect person, however my high standards mean you will recieve high standards
I have also had a previous cat who in her later years required medications, so I have experience with giving medications if your little one requires this. ‍
My cat has also had babies in her early years, so I have excellent experience with kittens. I am more than happy to come over and give your kitty the fuss they deserve. However if your cat prefers their own space, I will remain nearby so they know they have a human close to them, and hopefully earn their trust over however long I am caring for them. I am happy to discuss how long you wish for me to be present, depending on your cats needs.
My love for animals doesn't end with cats, but I also love dogs, having grown up with these. I aim to get around 10k steps in daily outside of my job, and why not do it with a dog?!

I work part time shifts, so my availability will be different each week but I am very happy to discuss what I can and can't do. I also have a 5 year old son who loves cats but is unsure of dogs, so ideally no big dogs who are child friendly (my little one won't be joining dog walks all the time but may need to on the odd occasion). Dog walking time may vary depending on what you need, and I am happy to get them settled back in at home.

Based in Allestree. Full driving licence holder so happy to travel locally, please message me to discuss.
