For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Ince-in-Makerfield for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Ince-in-Makerfield Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Ince-in-Makerfield sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Me and my Wife both genuinely love animals especially dogs, we have grew up around dogs and both have older family dogs.
We decided to set up our own business offerings dog walking, dog boarding, drop ins and doggy daycare. Turning our passion of dogs and nature into our job and we love it.
We love building up a great relationship with our clients understanding all about them. When we are dog boarding our aim is to give your dog their own holiday while they stay with us. We have a one year old Black Labradoor called Marley who is very frendly, full of energy and just loves having another dogs company.
One of the most rewarding things about dog boarding is watching Marley play and interact with other dogs and it really inspires us to do everything we can to ensure dogs in our care have a great time while they stay with us!

Hi there! My name is Stephanie, and I am a massive animal lover with years of experience caring for furry friends. I understand how stressful it can be for owners to leave their beloved pets behind, so my goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pets can feel right at home.I have extensive experience with dogs, from energetic puppies to senior pets that require a bit more patience and gentle care.
Whether it's going for long walks, engaging in active playtime, or simply offering plenty of cuddles on the sofa, I tailor my services to meet the unique personality and needs of every pet. I am very attentive to their routines and will ensure they follow their usual feeding and exercise schedule.
To ensure the safety and health of all the animals in my care, I only take vaccinated pets into my home.
I am a responsible, reliable and communicative sitter, and I'm happy to send you regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you are away. I look forward to meeting your wonderful pets and treating them like members of my own family!

About me

My name is Kam, and I’ve cared for dogs for over 8 years. I’ve also volunteered at dog rescues in Hong Kong, where I gained experience walking, feeding, and supporting dogs of all kinds. I’ve studied calming signals, dog first aid, and grooming basics, and I continue to learn more to provide the best care possible.

Experience & motivation

I’m motivated by a genuine love for animals. As the proud parent of two rescued dogs, I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pets with someone else. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and I’m especially experienced with senior dogs and those with special needs. My goal is always to provide a safe, happy, and loving environment where dogs feel at home.

About our services

We offer a loving, safe home environment for dogs, providing boarding and daycare with plenty of care and attention. Services include feeding, walking, playtime, and supervision. We can also administer oral medication if needed.

Capacity

We board up to 3 dogs at a time (including our own two resident dogs), always ensuring compatibility and safety. Dogs from different households are only boarded together with written owner consent.

Dog walks

Walks are usually 30–45 minutes, adjusted to each dog’s age, energy and health needs.

Two walks per day are included, with extra play sessions in the garden.

Time with pets

We understand how important companionship is. Dogs in our care are never left alone for more than 3 hours during boarding or 1 hour during daycare. Between my husband and me, one of us is always at home or nearby to supervise.

Daily routine & availability

Dogs become part of our family routine, with morning and evening walks, feeding, and plenty of play and cuddle time. We coordinate our schedules to make sure dogs get lots of attention and care every day.

Home environment

We live in a detached house in Birchwood, Warrington, with comfortable indoor space for dogs.

Our household includes myself, my husband Herman, and our two friendly dogs: an older husky mix and a golden retriever.

Guest dogs can sleep in the living room or a quieter separate space, depending on what makes them most comfortable. Owners are welcome to bring beds, crates or blankets.

The garden is fully fenced with brand-new solid panels and a lockable gate, ensuring safety and security at all times.

Hey! I'm Charlie and I home board doggies for thier holidays whilst you are on yours!
I provide loving care with lots of walks and cuddles, I especially love taking care of senior dogs, making sure they are happy and comfortable. I have been boarding and walking dogs for many years and I like to make sure they get quality time with me. I will also send you pup-dates whilst you are away!
I have two dogs of my own, one is a rescue, male neutered spanish Podenco and one is a spayed female basset and both are very used to getting along with other dogs.
I also live with my two sons who are 10 and 13 and who are also very used to animals in the house, as such I always ask for a meet and greet first to ensure you are happy with the enviroment and that all the dogs get along with each other.
I live in the countryside with easy access to feilds and parks!
See you soon!

Hello everyone! I have lived happily with a variety of animals my entire life from dogs like Eric and Bruce ( Father n Son ) golden retriever team, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and an array of birds due to my fathers avery in our back garden, (you name it we more than likely owned it.)I have just returned to the area so I thought I would set up my own local private pet care service which I did previously whilst I was living abroad for the past two years.I live in a perfect location now for walking pets, with close proximity to heaps of trails and parks.I can travel further afield if needed for pet sitting/pet transport which will include a maximum of 3 walks of 30 minutes to an hour-long per 24 hours depending on your pet's needs.I also offer pet visits between 30 minutes and 1 hour in duration dependent on pets' requirements. I was sad to leave my last job and all my four-legged friends I provided pet care for and I can honestly say it was the best 2 years on a job satisfaction front I have ever had! (hence I want to continue this passion now I am back in the UK)Please feel free to contact me for a free meet and greet to discuss a little more in detail both your and your pet's needs . I promise you will receive the most attentive and enthusiastic animal care possible for your pets as I just love being in the presence of all animals big, small, old & young, energetic and chilled. Thanks for checking my profile and I look forward to possibly hearing from some of you soon!

I have always loved animals and growing up I always wanted to be a vet. I had hansters and fish when I was young, then we got an orange tabby cat and he was my world. He was the best family pet and we never replaced him. I then would look after friend's and family's animals. I met some wonderful dogs through "Borrow My Doggy" and gained lots of experience walking dogs and pet sitting them in my own home with some overnight stays thrown in! I enjoy it so much, it's such rewarding work and your pet will be treated as part of our family as we love all animals. Our son who is 16 months old loves dogs. Whenever we see them out on our walks he gets so excited and starts woofing! I have experience with cat sitting as well, looking after friend's cats while they've been away on holiday. Making sure they are clean, have clean litter boxes if they're used, fed, have clean water, are given lots of strokes and scratches under the chin and even cuddles if they let me! To work with your animals is a dream come true, I couldn't think of a better office!
For dog walking, firstly I will arrange a meeting in a park that's good for us both and bring some treats so I can make a new furry friend quickly. Tell me what they like to do on walks, where you usually go, anything I need to be aware of e.g. are they allowed off lead, how is their recall, any breeds or other animals to avoid etc. If I'm cat or small animal/bird sitting, I'll meet you in your home and you can run me through their daily routine so I can keep them as happy as possible and so they can get to know me as well (I'll bring treats!). I'm more than happy to do a couple of meet ups and visits depending on your pet's needs/temperament etc. When you go away please leave me your vet's number, their out of hours number, your emergency contact and, show me how you administer any medication if required.
I will take up to 2 dogs from different households or the same household on walks, walks usually last around 45 mins to an hour, whatever your dog normally prefers and I can do 1-2 walks a day per dog. My favourite places to walk are Farington Park, Worden Park and I can take your dog to Salmsbury Secure Dog Run for an extra fee.
In an emergency I am pet first aid trained so can administer basic first aid if needed. I will keep you up to date on everything to do with your pet when they are left in my care via text or WhatsApp.
I am fully DBS checked, have a full clean UK driving licence, and certified in dog and cat first aid.
Please note: due to having a young child at home all pets must have their up to date vaccinations. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, I’m Rachel, a home-based worker in Warrington and a devoted dog lover. I share my home with Maple, my friendly labradoodle, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs and is always ready for a new walking buddy.
Because I work from home, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I offer daytime walks, drop-ins, and sitting, with lots of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and settled.
I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every dog as if they were my own - with patience, affection, and plenty of fuss.
If you’re looking for reliable, loving daytime care, Maple and I would be delighted to help, just get in touch. Any questions at all, please let me know!
