I'm Dilma, We are a family-run home boarding service with a genuine love for animals, especially dogs. My children have grown up around dogs and share the same passion for caring for them.
As a stay-at-home mum, I provide a true “home from home” boarding experience. Dogs staying with us will have company and supervision for most of the day, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
We share our home with our friendly French Bulldog, Spike, who enjoys meeting new canine friends. 
Every dog in our care is treated as part of the family, and we’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with regular photos and videos for your peace of mind.
Our home is a spacious semi-detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, providing plenty of room for play, exercise, and relaxation.

  A Typical Day.

Meet &amp; Greet
We are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before booking, giving you the opportunity to visit our home, meet Spike, and ensure we’re the right fit for your dog.

During meet-and-greets he may react on a way of being protective of his territory, which is normal, but he will settle down, and in general he's a very laid back dog, spends most of his day sleeping.


Introduction during the meet-and-greet is important to ensure everyone is comfortable before booking.

- Drop-Off &amp; Collection policy 

Boarding hours:
Booking are a 24 a hour stay: 
Drop-off and collection times:
Drop off: 8:00–10:00 am or 5:00–7:00 pm
Collection: 8:00–10:00 am or 5:00–7:00 pm 

*Collections outside the 24-hour boarding period may require an additional Doggy Day Care booking.

- Day Care Hours 
Day care drop-off and collection times are:
Drop-off: 7:00am – 9:00am
Collection: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- Collections after 6:00pm will be charged as an overnight boarding stay, with collection the following morning.

- Extended Stays 
We are happy to accommodate longer stays, subject to availability.

- What to Bring for Your Dog’s Stay 
*Please bring:

 Food – Please provide enough food for your dog’s stay and let us know their feeding schedule and portion sizes.

 Food and Water Bowls – Many dogs prefer using their own bowls.

️ Bed or Blanket – Familiar smells help dogs settle more comfortably in a new environment.
 Lead and Harness/Collar

 Any Medication – Along with clear instructions if applicable.

 Registered Vet Details – For your dog’s safety and our records.

 And of course, your dog!

I am an animal lover based in the Mansfield area.
I offer dog, cat and house sitting plus dog walking with my husband. We are both retired.
I have always loved animals. I love getting to know their different personalities and animals seem to know I love them.
I have helped in rescue centres in Spain walking dogs and been involved in the rescue of Podencos. I have also rescued from Cyprus too.
I have been brought up with dogs, cats, birds and fishes in the family home.
My husband and I have a couple of regular clients who we house sit for looking after their dogs and we will have dogs and cats individually in our own home. We have been house sitters for Trusted Housesitters and can provide references.
We will ensure your pets get loads of cuddles and attention. All pets will be looked after and treated like we would want our pets to be treated if we left them. Whatever your pet prefers, whether that be to lay on the settee, in a crate or if they like to stay in the bedroom, they will be accommodated. Your pets will want to keep returning to stay with us.
Dog walks will last at least 1 hour.
We are happy to do a meet and greet with you and your pets before so you can see for yourself that your pets will be in safe and caring hands.
I have a DBS enhanced certificate which can be checked and verified on the government website. I am also fully insured and have a full clean uk driving licence.

Happy to walk alongside Arlo, as I work from home 4 days a week, or more than happy to pop in to see your little one(s) whilst you are away from them! I have owned a variety of pets all my life, including several cats of varying ages and a corn snake.I've always had an incredibly caring and attentive attitude towards all animals and am very driven towards making them as content as possible while in my care. I have also been looking after other's pets ever since an early age, cat sitting for neighbours and dog sitting for friends and family alike. The animals I've cared for have been a wide range of breeds and sizes, but I've always enjoyed my time with them and made sure they are very well cared for. I can also handle looking after multiple animals at once, including a house with thirteen cats and three dogs, for two days!I have grown up with animals of all shapes and sizes, and am very excited at the opportunity to meet and care for new ones soon, giving each and every one the love that they deserve.
