For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Kimberley for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Kimberley Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Kimberley sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

BLACK PAWS Pet Care & Boarding Treating your dog like family while you’re away. ️

As an experienced pet sitter with over a decade of dedicated care for cats and dogs, my passion for animals drives everything I do. I find immense joy and fulfilment in ensuring the health, happiness, and wellbeing of furry companions while their owners are away. My extensive experience has honed my skills in providing tailored care, from following precise feeding plans to meet each pet’s dietary needs, administering medication, providing engaging exercise, and offering loving companionship.
I am deeply committed to the safety and health of every pet in my care, which is why I maintain a strict policy of accepting only vaccinated pets into my home. This helps protect all animals under my supervision and gives owners greater peace of mind.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a pet first aid certification, enabling me to respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the pets in my care.
I am currently a second-year Animal Biology student, where I am further developing my knowledge of animal health, biology, and welfare. By combining my academic studies with over a decade of practical experience, I strive to provide knowledgeable, compassionate, and individualised care for every pet. My goal is to ensure that every owner can feel confident knowing their beloved companion is in safe, caring, and capable hands.

Hey! I'm Jade, a nurse, a mum, and a crazy cat lady. You may have seen me chatting to cats in your local area and giving them lots of fuss. I am the proud owner of a ️ spicy ️ 16 year old cat, who I have had since she was 8 weeks old. I am picky with who sits my cat when I am away, so can empathise with how hard it is to find your perfect person, however my high standards mean you will recieve high standards
I have also had a previous cat who in her later years required medications, so I have experience with giving medications if your little one requires this. ‍
My cat has also had babies in her early years, so I have excellent experience with kittens. I am more than happy to come over and give your kitty the fuss they deserve. However if your cat prefers their own space, I will remain nearby so they know they have a human close to them, and hopefully earn their trust over however long I am caring for them. I am happy to discuss how long you wish for me to be present, depending on your cats needs.
My love for animals doesn't end with cats, but I also love dogs, having grown up with these. I aim to get around 10k steps in daily outside of my job, and why not do it with a dog?!

I work part time shifts, so my availability will be different each week but I am very happy to discuss what I can and can't do. I also have a 5 year old son who loves cats but is unsure of dogs, so ideally no big dogs who are child friendly (my little one won't be joining dog walks all the time but may need to on the odd occasion). Dog walking time may vary depending on what you need, and I am happy to get them settled back in at home.

Based in Allestree. Full driving licence holder so happy to travel locally, please message me to discuss.

Hi! I'm a university student based in Nottingham, and I've always naturally connected with animals. I'm usually the one who notices a dog before anything else or ends up sitting quietly with a cat while everyone else is busy.
What I enjoy most is getting to know each pet's personality. Some are energetic and love long walks and playtime, while others just want a calm and reassuring presence. I try to adapt to each pet rather than treating them all the same, which I think helps them feel more comfortable, especially when their owner is away.
I have experience looking after pets for friends and people around me, particularly during weekends and holidays. Through this, I've become confident with feeding routines, walks, basic grooming, and keeping pets relaxed in a familiar environment.
A typical visit with me would include making sure your pet is fed on time, has fresh water, gets enough exercise or playtime depending on their needs, and of course some attention and affection so they don't feel lonely. I also like to keep things clean and calm around them.
I'm happy to send updates and photos if you'd like, just so you can feel reassured while you're away. If your pet requires medication, I'm open to following clear instructions carefully.
In case of any emergency, I would contact you immediately and follow your preferred instructions, or reach out to a local vet if needed.
I'd describe myself as gentle, patient, and responsible. I take pet care seriously, even if | naturally enjoy it.
For safety, I would prefer pets to be vaccinated before staying with me.

Hi, I'm Grace, a passionate animal lover and dedicated pet sitter. I share my home with my pug, Frank, and my cat, Kitty, so I have daily hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats.
I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets while you're away. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and happy. I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply providing companionship.
A typical day includes feeding according to your pet's routine, regular toilet breaks, exercise, play sessions, and plenty of affection. Dog walks are usually 30–60 minutes depending on the dog's needs and energy levels. I am patient with nervous or shy pets and take time to help them settle in and feel secure.
I am happy to follow specific instructions regarding diet, medication, exercise, and routines. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek appropriate veterinary care if required. Your pet's safety, wellbeing, and happiness are always my top priorities.
I look forward to meeting you and giving your furry family member the same love and care that I give Frank and Kitty every day.
