For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Knebworth for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Knebworth Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Knebworth sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I have a 4* dog boarding license for East Herts Council, I am CRB checked and fully insured.
Basic dog training certification.
We have a wide range of services that we offer. Look at what we offer below
Dog Walking - Let us break up the day for your little one with a dog walk.
Puppy Let Out/ Let out services - Perfect for the pups who have not recieved full vacinations yet but you would like a stay & play and toilet break. Also works perfectly for dogs who are elderly and cannot walk to far anymore.
Doggy Daycare - At work all day? Do you have and all day occasion like a wedding? Leave your little one in my secure house and act like my own pet for the day. Dog walks and lots of cuddles included.
Dog Holidays - Such a nice alternative to a kennel. Have them roam around the house as a pet and have walks and lots of cuddles (on the sofa) all day. Nicer place to sleep with all their own home comforts rather than a cold, noisy kennel

Pet Feeding - Same as a cat feed but for all other pets.

Hi! My name is Mia and I’m 23 years old. I live in Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, in close proximity to Sherrardspark Wood, one of my go-to spots for relaxed, fun dog walks surrounded by nature!

I studied animal care in college and I’ve been around animals my entire life. I previously worked at Pets at Home for over a year, so I’m very confident caring for pets day-to-day. I’ve also pet-sat for lots of friends and family, and have looked after many dogs and cats through BorrowMyDoggy. I’m a huge cat lover myself and grew up with them, so feline care is something I’m super comfortable with!

I have two cats at my family home (not at my current address), so any pets I board will have my flat entirely to themselves. This makes it an especially calm environment for cats who prefer quiet, stress-free spaces.

Services I offer:
1. Dog Walking
30–45 minutes tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a gentle stroll or an energetic walk. Plenty of exercise, fresh air, sniffing time, and bathroom breaks.

2. 1x Visit a Day
Up to 1 hour. Perfect for cats, dogs, rabbits, or small animals. Includes feeding, litter cleaning, fresh water, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and company.

3. 2x Visit a Day
Two visits, ideal for cats who need medication, kittens who need more attention, or dogs that get lonely during the day.

4. Doggy Day Care
Supervised care in my home: walks, playtime, and plenty of company.

5. Boarding (Cats & Dogs)
Overnight care in a safe, comfortable environment. Cats get a peaceful, quiet space, enrichment, brushing (if they enjoy it), and all the cosy spots they like to explore. Dogs get walks, play, and plenty of affection.

Other pets (cats, rabbits, fish, small animals etc.) Happy to discuss needs and pricing separately.

I’m available seven days a week and happy to fit visits or walks around your schedule, just let me know what works best for you!

Please let me know in advance if your pet has any medical conditions, is elderly, requires medication, or needs any special care. I’m confident with all breeds, ages, temperaments, and species.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’m thrilled to have this opportunity and can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family.
