For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Lofthouse for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Lofthouse Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Lofthouse sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, my name is Sandra. I am 52 and live in Eccleshill.
I have had dogs all my life, from German Shepherds to small Jack Russells. I currently have one cocker spaniel girl, and she love nothing more than going for a good run and chasing after the ball. She love adults and children and love getting lots of attention from anyone willing to give it.
Should you want me to care for your pooch, you can rest assured they are covered as I have insurance to cover your lovely furry friend should you decide to have them stay with me, and I have many years of caring for adult dogs and puppies whatever the breed and whatever your needs are for your furry friend I will do my best to accommodate you.
My home is your pet's home while you are away, and I will do my utmost to keep them happy. I have a dining room and living room to accommodate them, and if they are happy being in a crate or not, I can do whatever is best. I have a lovely back garden with plenty of space for them to run round.
Should you have any questions, then please feel free to message me.

Hi, I’m Armish—a doctor, lifelong animal lover, and trained in Pet First Aid & CPR for cats and dogs.
I provide reliable, compassionate, and personalised care, treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether you’re away for a few hours, a weekend, or a longer holiday, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind.
My home
I live in a clean, quiet, smoke-free home with no resident pets or children, making it an ideal environment for cats who prefer a calm, low-stress setting. Cats have access to a safe indoor space where they can settle at their own pace, with plenty of cosy places to rest, hide, climb, and play. I only board cats from one household at a time, so they receive my full attention and aren’t exposed to unfamiliar animals.
My services
Cat boarding in my home (one household at a time)
Dog walking
Dog daycare
Dog home visits for feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, companionship, and medication if needed
Cat home visits if you would prefer your cat to stay in their own home
I tailor every booking to your pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced in administering tablets, liquid medication, and injections where required.
You’ll receive regular photo and video updates throughout your booking, so you’ll always know how your pet is getting on. Before each booking, I’m happy to arrange a free meet-and-greet to discuss your pet’s routine, diet, medical needs, favourite activities, and anything else that helps them feel at home.
I take pride in providing a dependable, professional service with plenty of love, patience, and individual attention.
I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Hey! I’m Magda, a prosthetist based in Leeds. I’ve grown up with animals and understand their unique personalities, quirks, and routines. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I really miss having that companionship around, which is why I love spending time caring for other people’s pets.
Whether it’s cuddling with cats, walking dogs, or looking after small pets, I’ll make sure your friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I understand that every pet is different, so I always take the time to learn their individual needs, habits, and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure.
I have experience caring for both cats and dogs through petsitting for friends and family, and I’m confident handling a variety of personalities and temperaments. My priority is always to ensure that they feel relaxed, well cared for, and receive plenty of attention and affection.
You can count on me to be responsible, trustworthy, and reliable. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your friend is in good hands. I’m also more than happy to meet before any booking.
Drop me a message if you have any questions️

I’ve always grown up around dogs and have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I currently have a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel, so I’m very used to the fun, walks, cuddles and occasional chaos that comes with having a dog!

I have a very pet-loving home and would treat your dog as if they were my own. I understand every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable, settled and well looked after.

I can offer plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles and a cosy home environment. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been up to.

Your dog would be joining a loving home where they’ll receive lots of fuss, care and attention while you’re away. I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and completely at home. 🤍
