For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Loughborough for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Loughborough Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Loughborough sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I’m Katie, a 27-year-old pet sitter based in Leicester.
I have experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and even the occasional ferret! I’m very adaptable and always happy to tailor my care to suit your pet’s individual needs and routine.
Caring for animals is a genuine passion of mine, and I take pride in keeping them happy, comfortable, and well-loved while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your pets — especially as a pet owner myself — so I always aim to provide excellent communication. You can expect regular updates, photos, and messages for peace of mind
I’m primarily based in the Leicester/Leicestershire area but am happy to travel if required. I offer house sitting, home visits, and day walks, and I’m more than comfortable staying in your home to keep your pets in their familiar environment.
If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter, I’d love to help!
I do have a part time job which I have to work around so sometimes I may be unavailable sorry in advance! Just pop me a message and I'll be more than happy to talk and see what I can do!

(I also have pet business insurance too)
Thanks,
Katie

Hi, I’m Fazila and I adore cats and love to spend time with them. I have a full DBS enhanced disclosure as I teach in a local primary school. I have my own transport and I don’t mind travelling to different locations for pick ups and drop off. I also have experience looking after rabbits and small mammals. My priority is to provide safe and loving care to every animal and to provide excellent communication to clients for peace of mind. Duties include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays, grooming, socialising and showing care and love to pets. Happy to send photos, updates and follow all instructions left by clients for their fur babies.
My recent experience includes boarding a kitten for two nights in my home, boarding a British shorthair cat for three nights and providing home visits for a Norwegian forest cat.
I believe that a relationship of trust is crucial between a pet owner and caregiver. I can be relied upon to look after pets during drop in visits and respect the clients home environment and security. I ensure that the clients pet is safe and comfortable at all times when I care for them in my own home. I aim to follow the routine set out by clients to ensure that their pet has a clean environment, water, food, naps and playtime at the correct time. I also understand the importance of playing games and offering stimulation for pets to avoid boredom and offer an outlet for their predatory instincts.
Look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks

Hello!
My name is Lauren,
Leaving your pet can be hard — I make it easy.
I’m a reliable, caring pet sitter who treats every animal as if they’re my own. Whether your pet loves cuddles, quiet company, or gentle play, I tailor my care to suit their unique personality so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away.

I provide regular photo and message updates so you can enjoy total peace of mind knowing your pet is settled, loved, and well cared for. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely present with the pets I look after — not rushing in and out, but offering consistent companionship and care.

Your pet will be cared for in a calm, secure environment with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their routine. I’m especially mindful of pets who may feel anxious when away from their owners and take extra care to help them feel comfortable and at home.

I’d love to care for your furry family member and make their time with me a positive, stress-free experience — for both of you.

Hi There,

I've adored cats and dogs ever since I was a little girl, and growing up surrounded by animals helped shape the patient, gentle, and attentive sitter I am today. After moving to the UK, I’ve been missing my own pets, Mickey and Milo, so I've decided to open my heart and home to other furry friends here. Spending time with animals here truly brings me joy and comfort.

I’m currently a postgraduate student, which gives me plenty of flexible free time to focus on your pet’s needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. Your pet’s happiness and safety will always be my top priorities.

My husband and I live in a comfortable house with a secure backyard, perfect for fresh-air breaks, exploring, or relaxing in the sunshine. I’m dedicated to creating a calm, fun, and loving environment where every pet feels welcomed, understood, and cared for like family.

Hi!
My name is Scarlett and i've always loved animals. I have a Cat of my own called Cody, we share a special bond since we homed him 12 years ago. I've always had a connection to animals as I am a very spiritual individual. I feel animals relax around me and we can form a deeper bond. I have also looked after and sifted for friends and family in the past.
with my relaxing nature& kindred spirit, my goal would to ensure your animal feels safe and comfortable around my energy. I love the nature and being outside, so if you have a dog full of energy, expect him to be sleepy once you get him back!
I am happy to look after your animal in your home and my home. Please bear in mind, I can only do day times for my home!
I am available to do doggy day care (at your home) dog walking, home visits and house sitting. It's the same with cats of course.
I have never mediated anybody else's pet, but I am happy to. I can only board one dog at a time, but cats I am happy with up to 3.
My dog walks are up to 3 hours, as I love to walk! My availability is Monday- Friday day times from my house, but evenings other homes if needed!
I work from home, but I would not work at the same time as looking after your pet (of course, they need all the attention!)
please keep in mind I have one pet in my home, a cat, so if your dog doesn't get along with them i'm happy to come to you!
my family are out in the day times, so it would only be me at my home. my gates are safe and secured and fully fenced, so no escape is possible!
if you have any further questions please do ask!
- Scarlett :)

Dear I am a caring and reliable pet sitter and a genuine animal lover. I am currently an international student in Loughborough, and back home in India I have four dogs who are a big part of my life. Since moving here, my parents are looking after them, and I do miss them a lot. Spending time with dogs here helps me feel connected to them, and it’s something I really enjoy.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are safe and comfortable when they are away. I aim to provide calm, patient and attentive care, making sure each pet feels relaxed in their own environment.
I have hands-on experience from caring for my own dogs, including feeding, walking and understanding different personalities. I am responsible, patient and used to being around multiple dogs.
At the moment, I offer dog walking and pet sitting in the owner’s home rather than boarding. For safety and wellbeing, I only care for vaccinated pets
I miss my own dogs every day – Togo, Tessa, Cappucchino and Cookie
