For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Milford for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Milford Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Milford sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello! My name is Yas. I'm a recently graduated student from the University of Surrey! I studied veterinary biosciences, and I'm going on to study veterinary medicine. If you don't know what veterinary biosciences involves, it's a degree based around animal biology, health, and disease. I have experience and knowledge about animal behaviour, common animal illnesses, and animal nutrition. I have always had a love for all animals, including dogs! With having previous dog walking and sitting experience, I am comfortable and confident around all breeds. I also absolutely love cats, and have many years experience caring for them. I always take my visits slow, and move at your pets pace, to ensure we build trust and a bond! I usually spend about 40 minutes to an hour at my visits, where I'll ensure that your pet is cared for to the highest standard.
All of my pets have been rescued, with experience with previously mistreated animals. I believe treating animals with compassion and understanding is the most important part in fostering a great relationship.
It can also be noted that I have extensive experience with other small animals such as hamsters and rabbits. I've owned and cared for both of these for all of my life!
I have a very flexible schedule, due to my recent completion of university. Please do note that for weekends, I can generally only do Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings. Saturday nights are in select cases, as I work every Saturday. Please message me if you wish to book and I can accommodate in most cases. I live just behind Hawley Wood, which is an incredible place to bring your pups! I have a full UK drivers license, with no convictions and I am DBS checked. I am also first aid qualified for animals, and I am able to administer medication if your pet requires it.
Please let me know if you have any questions or queries, I am happy to talk about it! Can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!

Hi we're Tasha & Yav! We live in Knaphill and work from home. We're experienced dog sitters and we like to regularly get out the house as we have lovely woodland walks nearby and lots of love for animals to share. We have experience looking after rescue dogs, Labradors, bichon frise, wire fox terrier, whippet, pugs, huskies and Jack Russell to name a few. We are happy to care for them in our home (if vaccinated) or in yours. We're used to looking after 1 dog at a time but if they're well behaved we can manage 2.We're an active couple, love to walk and be outside. Usually our walks can be between 40 mins to an hour. Being in Surrey, there's loads of stunning, dog friendly walks around us. We also have cars so driving to the best spot isn't a problem. We would prefer to stay within 5 miles if we're checking in on a pet.We love any animals and will look after your furry family member as you need and would be honoured if you choose us Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have! Also, as budding photographers, we love capturing special moments with the dogs in our care. We'll send you regular photo updates of your pooch enjoying their stay, so you can see all the fun they're having while you're away. If you'd like a lasting keepsake, we also offer beautifully edited high-resolution photos for a small additional fee – perfect for printing, framing or treasuring at home. You can also look at more pictures on @cuddlesandwalks

Hi! I live in two bedroom house with masive fenced garden. I'm a caring and responsible animal lover with a deep passion for dogs of all breeds and sizes. My motivation to become a dog sitter comes from my lifelong love of animals and the joy I get from spending time with them. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in safe, loving hands while you're away. I’ll treat your dog like family—making sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just companionship, I’m here to give your pet the attention they deserve.A huge trail in very nearby to our house and few long walk where my and your dog will go together. I am very clean and my Siberian Huskey have his own place to sit next to me on sofa so your dog is also allowed on sofa.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Andrezia, I am from Brazil and live in Tongham, Surrey. I am a massive animal lover, my dad is a farmer and I grew up with lots of animals around me ... chickens, pigs, cats, horses, cows and dogs. Always have 4- 6 dogs as my parents love dogs too. I have lost of experience looking after animals, is part of all my life. I used to have my own dog that lived for 14 years, when he died I was devastating, so decided not to have another one.
I live in the UK for 18 years, married and have 2 kids (10 and 14 years old). We all share a love for dogs and enjoying taking them for walk. I miss so much having a dog again that I think petsitting will be a lovely thing to do and having contact with animals again.
We have a large garden where your dog can play and run around safe. Also lots of walking routes nearby for beautiful walks in the countryside away from busy roads. Our house has plenty space, dog friendly and smoke free.
I am a full time mum, have lots of free time to be with your dog, taking them for long walks.
If you need my help please get in contact, get to know me and your pet will be in safe hands.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,
Andrezia

Hello everyone ️,
We have previously used Borrow My Doggy, and have had great success looking after many different dogs, all ages and sizes!
My partner Jamie (29) and I (Alina, 31) have always been animal lovers, having anything from dogs, cats, fishes and parrots, you name it! We especially love dogs but are unable to get one permanently ourselves at the moment as we live in an apartment, so we often look after our families pets in the meantime and we love doing so!
In terms of what we can offer, we are extremely flexible, we both work somewhat remotely, so there is always someone at home. This means we can do anything from dog walking to house pet sitting! We live in a 1 bedroom apartment currently with no access to a garden, however can take your pets out as and when needed and we also have a lovely forest near by!
We can pet sit at our home in the mornings, afternoons and evenings most days of the week, depending on our work schedules and holidays we have ourselves. We are able to do dog walks throughout the day, we have a woodland not far from where we are, where we can go out for short / long walks, however long your dog needs. 🦮
We'd love to look after your fur babies and will do so with lots of care and love! 🩵

Hi, I'm Christina, and I'm a huge dog lover!I grew up with a Labrador called Pebbles, who sadly passed away two years ago. She was such a special part of our family, and ever since then I've loved spending time with dogs and caring for them.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with friendly company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I tailor my care to each dog's personality, age, and energy level. Walks are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on their needs, and I'll always follow your routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and any special instructions.
Having owned and cared for my own dog for many years, I'm confident with all aspects of day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, sticking to routines, administering simple medication, and recognising when a dog needs exercise, rest, or reassurance. I'm patient with nervous or anxious dogs and understand the importance of letting them settle at their own pace. I'm also happy caring for energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If caring for more than one dog, I'll ensure each receives individual attention while keeping walks and interactions safe and well managed.
During dog sitting, your dog will receive plenty of attention, toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. Their safety is always my priority, and I'll supervise them closely while sending regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll remain calm and act quickly in your dog's best interests. I'll contact you immediately and, if needed, take your dog to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency veterinary practice while following any instructions you've provided.
I always prefer to meet dogs before their first walk or stay so they can get to know me and feel comfortable. For off-lead walks, I ask that dogs have reliable recall, as their safety is my top priority.
I'm currently a student home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. I live in a clean, calm, dog-friendly home close to Ash Ranges, which is perfect for long, enriching walks. Having grown up in the area, I know plenty of great walking routes, and I'll make sure your dog has a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while in my care.
I'm also DBS checked !

I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have volunteered in dog rescue for many years and have experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments and ages. I have owned or fostered 18 dogs. I have a lovely home on a quiet, beautiful fisheries estate which I love to share with dogs. I have two little dogs of my own and we enjoy walks around the lakes, or in the Surrey Hills or further afield. Your dog(s) will be treated as one of the family, in our home. Only dog friendly, neutered dogs please. We are fully licenced by the council, and insured. I I work mainly from home so I am around most of the time but I also have a dog walker who helps me out and she is also fully insured and very experienced.
We have a 3 bedroom detached house with a large garden. I live here with my partner and our two dogs. Dogs are allowed wherevrer they want, including on the beds and furniture if that's what the owners would like. The garden is secured with 4 foot hedges and gates so is not suitable for dogs who may jump over higher boundaries.
I am licensed for boarding/daycare for up to 4 dogs in addition to my own 2, but I rarely accept more than 2 dogs so it's a nice calm environment. I am happy to administer medication - I have plenty of experience.
What you can expect when you leave your dog with us:
Photo / text updates
They won't be left alone for more than 1 hour for boarding or 3 hours for overnight stays
They have free range of the whole house, unless you request crate usage
At least 1 hour of physical exercise. This may be a long walk, 2 shorter walks, play in the garden or home
Prices shown are for 8am to 6pm for daycare or any 24 hour period for overnight stays. Additional time can be booked and paid for by arrangement.
Get in touch now to check availability for daycare, boarding or walks.

Hello! My name is Imogen and I'm a third year vet student at the University of Surrey. I've been house and pet sitting for five years now and can provide references to confirm this. I've worked with dogs, cats, and horses previously, and have also kept reptiles, small mammals, and poultry myself. At my family home I have a dog, cat, tortoise, snake, guinea pigs, and a horse, so I'm confident caring for a range of animals to a high standard. I'm quiet and reliable, and provide good quality care and give lots of love to your pets! I've fostered and hand reared kittens previously so am confident caring for puppies and kittens. I've completed placements at a range of rescue centres and small animal settings so have experience working with a range of animals in different settings. I am confident with strong dogs and can administer medication to any pets that need it. I love caring for animals and have spent many years working and volunteering in animal care, giving me very valuable experience that I take forward with me when working with your pets. As a vet student I have passed exams in handling various species and have studied husbandry in detail. I'm flexible to work around you and your pets routines in terms of how much of my time they need and the specifics of their care. I will always try to fit into their routine where possible! I look forward to hearing from you!
