For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in New Mills for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local New Mills Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving New Mills sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

We recently lost our adored springer spaniel and the house now feels empty, so we'd love to take care of your pets to catch up on cuddles! We have years of experience with spaniels and labradors, but are open to other child-friendly breeds as well.
Your dog is welcome for daycare while you're at work, either as a one-off or a regular schedule. Boarding for holidays can be from 1 night right up to 6 weeks if the dog is happy in our home.
We have an enclosed garden so your dog can spend lots of time outdoors if they like. We love to walk along the river, or can let your dog off the lead in Cavendish Park for a run around.
We have a toddler, so we will only accept pets that are good with small children. Other than that, it is just my husband and I in the house, with no pets of our own, so your dog will have all of our attention! Because of child sleep hours, we unfortunately don't take any dogs who are regular barkers, or who have to sleep in the bedroom with you.
We take a maximum of 2 pets at any one time, but will always let you know if we do have another dog so that we can ensure they get on with each other first.
My husband has trained puppies before, so can help with that if you have a new puppy looking for day care.
We are also open to small animal boarding, having owned 2 guinea pigs before.

I have always had a deep love and respect for animals, which naturally led me to pursue pet sitting as a way to combine my passion with meaningful work. Caring for pets is not just a job for me—it’s a heartfelt commitment to ensuring their happiness, safety, and well-being while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for pet owners to trust someone who genuinely cares about their furry family members, and I take that responsibility seriously.
My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from years of experience with various animals, from energetic dogs to shy cats and even small exotic pets. I enjoy building strong bonds with each pet, tailoring my care to their unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I strive to create a comforting and joyful environment for every pet.
My services include regular updates with photos and messages, flexible scheduling, and personalized care plans. I aim to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their beloved companions are in loving and capable hands. Choosing me means choosing a dedicated pet sitter who treats your pets like family.

Cosy Paws gives you a promise to give your Fur babies the best care. We are passionate about what we do and feel it’s highly important to understand your pets needs.
I’m Hannah and I love all animals especially Dogs, after growing up with both from a young age in my family home. I’ve been dog walking and sitting since 2016, I really enjoy it and it works well around my family commitment’s. I give 110% with my work & will promise to fulfill all expectations to make sure your pet is feeling safe, cared for and happy while loving owners are away.
I have had my own experience of using pet sitting services and understand the importance of providing a quality & professional service.
We know that the little things make a big difference during vacations, like sending owners pictures or videos to reassure them. Playing voice notes to pets from owners or just giving them that extra TLC while owners are away from home.
I love being in the outdoors and look forward to taking all dogs for a stroll or run around with a ball when they need to stretch their legs : )

I’m Ella, I’m currently trying to live my best life. I’m an avid traveller, just returned from a 7 month trip around Thailand, Laos, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Since being a little girl, I have adored animals. We've always had family dogs, occasional cats and hamsters. I admire how much trust animals put into humans, and the love they give without question or judgement. I will always reciprocate this love!
From Dec-Jan, I will be home (with no job) so I’m looking to make a little money to put in my pot, so that I can go to New Zealand! And what better way to do it than looking after the cutest and most loving friends you could ask for!
I’m new here but I am very flexible, so I'm open to anything you need! Although I will be using public transport most of the time to save money. I’m very familiar with pet care. I currently have a 9yr old whippet called Willow, and she is incredibly friendly!
- I’m happy to walk your pet for however long you desire in your local/preferred areas!
- I will follow your pets routine as familiarity is important.
- I can meet your pet prior to service/payment if it would make you more comfortable.
- I will be available to supervise 24/7 if required as I have no other commitments.
If you have any questions about what I can offer to you, please do not hesitate to ask!

Hi!! My name is Florence, I am 23, I have recently moved to Manchester, and I would love to look after your pet! I have lots of experience with dog walking and caring, I dogsitted my neighbours dachshunds for years, and I regularly walk them and my friends dogs too! I previously had a gorgeous black cat called Casper, but he sadly passed away, so I would love to be surrounded by animals again! I am open to walking for up to two hours, dog-sitting at my house and coming to your house to accompany your pet. I have 3 housemates, 1 of which works from home and they are also a dog lover like me. I have a backyard with a fully secure fencing barrier. I can't offer any training or grooming. I can offer up to 3 dog walks per day. I am currently looking for work, so I have lots of availability :) Please ask any questions you may have, and I look forward to hearing from you! If you'd like to arrange a meeting before I would love to introduce myself. I am willing to travel to your accommodation, I do not have a car so I rely on public transport.

Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and grew up with three dogs of all shapes and sizes. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. At the moment, I don’t have any pets of my own, which means I have plenty of space, time, and love to give to your furry family members. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply cuddles at home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for ️As I currently work only on weekends, I am available Monday to Friday and can dedicate my full attention to your pet throughout the day. If your dog stays with me, they will have company and care during the day and will not be left alone for long periods.I always follow the dog’s usual routine and any instructions provided, including feeding schedules which I make sure are done on time. I also understand that every dog is different — I am comfortable caring for nervous or high-energy dogs. I always stay aware of my surroundings during walks and keep a safe distance from other dogs when needed to help anxious dogs feel secure.A typical day with me starts with a morning walk straight after waking up, followed by breakfast for both me and the dog. During the day, I include a mix of playtime, cuddles, rest, and at least 3–4 walks depending on the dog’s needs, energy level, and routine. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I always stay calm and put your dog’s safety first. I will contact you immediately and, if needed, seek veterinary advice or assistance while carefully following any instructions you’ve provided.I always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and see how your pet is doing throughout the day.Let me know if you have any questions — I’d be more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand!

I offer dog walking, pet sitting and drop ins. I can feed and muck out your horses.

My whole life, I have always loved and cared for animals, both my own and other people's (including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets and many others). Nothing means more to me than the happiness and health of our beloved animals. I understand that they mean the world to us and want to make sure everyone feels reassured that they will be left in safe hands!
It is always important to be calm and patient with any animal and I feel that most animals have always warmed up to me instantly.
I will provide your pets with lots of attention and enrichment to keep them entertained. Please let me know if they have a favourite toy/treat as I want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
I have many years of experience working in veterinary, so I do have basic knowledge of animal health, which may also help give any owners with animals that need extra care the peace of mind.
I have plenty of time at the moment to take care of your animals so please get in touch and let me know all about them!
If they like to go for walks to particular places, please let me know as I want them to be as comfortable as possible and familiar surroundings are always a plus :)

For as long as I can remember, I've loved the companionship of dogs.
Walking them brings me so much joy, and I'm dedicated to ensuring your pet's safety and well-being during our strolls.
Having volunteered to walk a neighbourhood dog, I love getting the opportunity to let them run and play in the park. Given that my own dog is now very old and so has very limited stamina for lengthy walks, I am eager to share my passion for long walks and runs with another dog nearby.
I would consider myself a mature and responsible person, and therefore happily say I can guarantee that your dog will be under constant watch, ensuring their safety at all times. I will shower your pet with the same affection and attention as I do with my own.
although I don't have a lot of experience with unfamiliar dogs I have lots of experience taking care of and walking dogs of many different sizes and breeds.

I live in Fulham in a pet friendly house and am happy to care for your dog there and at your home. I am still in education so I am only available weekends and evenings

Hey there!
I'm James, an experienced dog owner living in South Manchester. I have my own cockapoo (Gnocchi) and have experience walking other dogs before getting my own.
I often work evenings which leaves me free during the day so I'm looking to fill my time by spending it walking other people's dogs.
Happy to take your pup on long walks or home visits or dog boarding in my own home as long as they're vaccinated. I live in a house with a big back garden that's fully fenced with plenty of space to run around in.
I own my own car so if you're a little of the way I'm happy to travel within reasonable distance. Typical walks will involve parks and some play in a gated off area with or without my own dog depending on your preference. I'm comfortable walking dogs of all ages and sizes and the car has a fitted dog seat and safety harness suitable for any size of dog. Locally I have lots of green areas, including large parks and areas that are completely closed off and secure for off lead fetch.
Home visits are usually an hour long or two visits for £15.
Get in touch and tell me a bit more about your four legged friend!

I’ve always had a deep love for animals — they’ve been such an important part of my life. I’ve cared for cats and dogs for many years, and now I have my own lovely cat living with me here in the UK. She came all the way from China, and taking care of her through that big journey has taught me so much about patience, trust, and gentle communication. What I OfferI provide home visits for cats and dog walking services. I can feed them, refresh their water, clean litter trays, give medication if needed, and spend time playing or cuddling — whatever makes them feel safe and loved while you’re away. For dogs, I offer calm, caring walks, always following their pace and making sure they feel relaxed and happy. A Little About My PlaceI live in a quiet flat with no balcony, which makes it safe for pets when I do home visits. There’s also a lovely park nearby — perfect for peaceful walks or a bit of playful energy release. My ApproachI truly believe animals can feel our emotions. I always take time to read their body language and understand what they need — whether that’s attention, playtime, or a little space. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for.If you’re looking for someone gentle, patient, and loving to look after your furry friend, I’d be very happy to help ️
