For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Newhaven for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Newhaven Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Newhaven sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I offer dog and cat boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and home visits for both dogs and cats. My care includes feeding, fresh water, regular walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I’m happy to administer basic medication such as tablets or topical treatments with clear instructions. While I don’t offer formal training or grooming services, I can reinforce basic commands and routines and help with light grooming such as brushing if requested. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for.To make sure every animal receives plenty of individual attention, I only board a small number of dogs at any one time and will always ensure they are a good match. Walks typically last between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs, with at least two walks per day for boarded dogs, alongside additional toilet breaks and playtime. Pets are never left alone for long periods, during boarding no more than three hours, and during daycare no longer than one hour, in line with Pawshake guidelines.Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I plan my schedule around the animals I’m caring for. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to closely supervise guest pets throughout the day and give them regular attention and companionship. I have good availability during both weekdays and weekends, and I’m always happy to discuss specific routines or requirements in advance.I live in a calm, clean, and pet-friendly home. Guest pets are welcome to sleep in a comfortable space that suits them best, whether that’s their own bed, a crate they’re used to, or another agreed area, and I’m happy to follow their usual routine. Safety and comfort are always my priority, and I aim to make every pet feel relaxed, secure, and at home while they’re with me.

I offer loving home dog boarding and daycare in a safe, relaxed family environment where your dog will be treated as one of my own.
Having grown up surrounded by dogs and owned both dogs and cats throughout my life, caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while they’re with me.
Whether you’re going away on holiday, working during the day, or simply need someone you can trust to care for your dog, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced, caring hands. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, attention, walks, playtime, enrichment, and cuddles, with regular updates and photos so you can see just how much fun they’re having.
To provide the very best care, I usually only accept pets from one client at a time. This means your dog receives my full attention, plenty of one-to-one care, and a calm, stress-free environment without the hustle and bustle of multiple unfamiliar dogs.
Dogs staying with me become part of our daily routine, enjoying plenty of love, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and walks tailored to their age and energy levels. I can also follow your dog’s usual feeding routine, administer medication if needed, and continue any basic training or commands you’re working on to help them feel settled and keep their routine consistent.
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I arrange a meet and greet before their first stay so we can get to know each other, discuss their routine, and make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is having a wonderful time. There is almost always someone at home, whether it’s myself, my husband, my older teenagers, or my mother, who lives with us. This means dogs are rarely left alone and have company, comfort, and supervision for most of the day.
I pride myself on providing a genuine home-from-home experience, because every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family.

*** please be advised I book a while in advance so it's best to arrange a meet and greet asap :) ***

Hey, thank you for clicking onto my page. My names Grace and I wanted to tell you a little about my set up at home. - we LOVE doggies, and have a 11 year old dachshund called Winnie. Shes super friendly and loves company. She's often herself gone to doggy day care and is great with other breeds. I have a big garden, we now live in Pyecombe so everyday we go on country walks.- I have two small children, one who is 9 and one baby who is 2, they are both amazing with animals. We go out walking everyday with the dog and I am also home with them working from home. It's important that your dog is okay with small children and other dogs. I will follow and try to adjust to your plan of your own dog to the best I can. Here they will always be treated like they are our own. Any questions, drop me a message:)

Hi there! I'm Maria, an animal enthusiast with a deep connection to every furry companion I meet. I believe in providing animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve, recognizing them as cherished members of our families. Throughout my life, animals have been my constant companions, shaping my values of compassion, empathy, kindness, and respect towards all creatures.
My lifelong dedication to animals began in my childhood, where growing up surrounded by pets taught me invaluable lessons about their needs and unique personalities. This early bond inspired me to extend my care and love to stray dogs in my home country, a journey supported by my mother since I embarked on this path at a young age. While my rescued dogs now reside with her, you can view pictures of them in my gallery, including a tribute to my beloved Sasha, who shared my life for a remarkable ten years and five months. Her memory is forever cherished, symbolized by a tattoo on my arm.
Drawing from extensive experience in pet sitting and dog walking, I ensure the safety and well-being of every furry companion under my care. I tailor my services to meet each pet's individual needs and requirements, providing a nurturing and secure environment for them to thrive. Additionally, I am adept at administering medications for pets, ensuring their health needs are meet with precision and care.
As a dedicated pet sitter entrusted with the well-being of pets in their own homes, I understand the importance of adapting to the unique needs of each client. I am committed to delivering personalized care and attention to your beloved furry friend, creating a positive and enriching experience for them while you're away.
I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Sustainable Development at Sussex University. Due to my academic commitments, I am available from Thursday to Monday, offering flexible care options over the weekend to accommodate your needs.

In summary, the services I offer include:
Walking 3-4 dogs simultaneously to provide individualized care and attention to each furry friend.
Customized feeding schedules tailored to each pet's specific requirements.
Administering medications to ensure your pet's health needs are properly addressed. (If needed).
Home visits: available for extended stays on my days off, including watering plants upon request.
Open to look after all types of pets.
Regular updates including adorable pictures of your beloved friend sent via WhatsApp.

I am excited about the opportunity to provide exceptional care for your furry family member and look forward to the chance to create a positive and nurturing environment for them in your absence!

All the best,
Maria.

I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who offers a calm, cosy home where dogs are truly treated like family. Although I’m new to professional dog sitting, I grew up with 4 Beagles from the age of five, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I’m confident with puppies, including basic training and teaching fun tricks, and I also have experience supporting senior dogs. I recently cared for my own senior dog, who I was very close to, so I’m comfortable giving medication, following routines, and providing plenty of patience and affection. I live alone in a quiet flat, which makes it a peaceful and relaxed environment for dogs who enjoy consistency and a slower pace. To help keep the space comfortable and stress-free, I’m best suited to dogs who are toilet trained and up to date with their vaccinations. While I don’t have a garden, I live directly opposite a park with plenty of green spaces just seconds away, and I love taking dogs out for walks, including trips to the beach, the park and many more. Your dog will be well looked after, gently spoiled, and surrounded by lots of love, cuddles, and thoughtful care while you’re away.

Hi! I'm Jo and I love animals I'm Brighton born and bred and now live in Hove, very close to the seafront.
For a long time I worked in the insurance industry, but I've decided to have a complete career change and get stuck into the work of animal care!
