For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Normandy for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Normandy Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Normandy sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have volunteered in dog rescue for many years and have experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments and ages. I have owned or fostered 18 dogs. I have a lovely home on a quiet, beautiful fisheries estate which I love to share with dogs. I have two little dogs of my own and we enjoy walks around the lakes, or in the Surrey Hills or further afield. Your dog(s) will be treated as one of the family, in our home. Only dog friendly, neutered dogs please. We are fully licenced by the council, and insured. I I work mainly from home so I am around most of the time but I also have a dog walker who helps me out and she is also fully insured and very experienced.
We have a 3 bedroom detached house with a large garden. I live here with my partner and our two dogs. Dogs are allowed wherevrer they want, including on the beds and furniture if that's what the owners would like. The garden is secured with 4 foot hedges and gates so is not suitable for dogs who may jump over higher boundaries.
I am licensed for boarding/daycare for up to 4 dogs in addition to my own 2, but I rarely accept more than 2 dogs so it's a nice calm environment. I am happy to administer medication - I have plenty of experience.
What you can expect when you leave your dog with us:
Photo / text updates
They won't be left alone for more than 1 hour for boarding or 3 hours for overnight stays
They have free range of the whole house, unless you request crate usage
At least 1 hour of physical exercise. This may be a long walk, 2 shorter walks, play in the garden or home
Prices shown are for 8am to 6pm for daycare or any 24 hour period for overnight stays. Additional time can be booked and paid for by arrangement.
Get in touch now to check availability for daycare, boarding or walks.

I have been a dog lover my whole life! I'm lucky that my family have 4 dogs, a border collie, canaan, white Swiss shepherd and a German shepherd. I have looked after my brothers German shepherd for 2 years (every week) as he grew up from puppy to adult and we have formed a solid bond. I can work with reactive dogs or dogs of any temperament. I can also continue to work on training if needs be. Can give plenty of cuddles or be hands off. I've taken a course on animal communication. I am very instinctive with animals and know if they need something. I have a very caring nature and dogs really are one of life's greatest gifts! I am always learning more about animal behaviour and enjoy taking courses on how to best work with animals. I am a big walker and love taking in nature with a dog buddy along side! I have a flexible working life, working from home 2 days a week, so I can dog sit or walk on those days. I can also dog sit or walk on weekends too. Local to Wokingham but can travel 15 mins out if needs be.I also have experience with parrots and cats, a big animal lover in general so can house sit for other animals too.I'm happy to administer medication or injections if shown how to. I also study Reiki so can even give your pet a Reiki session!I am physically fit and can handle dogs that pull on lead. If your pet exhibits signs of sickness or diarrhea please note I will not be able to look after them.

PLEASE NOTE - BOARDING REQUIREMENTS (our house)

I won't be able to board dogs at my house who are the following:- are exhibiting signs of sickness or diarrhea
- Not house trained
- Chew furniture or who are destructive
- Dig up the garden
- Bark a lot - we have attached neighbours so are very conscious of noise
- Need to sleep on the bed - we don't allow dogs on the bed - they are allowed in the bedroom if they're generally settled at night.
- If your dog is particularly young and demanding of attention please let me know - if it is on a day that I need to work from home this may not work out. I have looked after a few puppies but it depends on their temperament.

i can pick up if within a 5 mike radius and drop off.
I only walk maximum of two dogs at a time so they would have a lot of individual time and attention.

I love the outdoors whatever the weather.
I am originally from Scotland but have lived down in the South East for a long time.
I would ensure that your pet was looked after as if it were my own.
i am fit, healthy but also reliable, professional and responsible.
I am also flexible to meet you and your pets needs.
I am happy to come and meet you and your pet at your convenience and discuss any specific requirements.

Hi there, my name is Steph and I am a dog sitter. I have had dogs my entire life, but have been doing it professionally for over 4 years offering dog day care and boarding at my own home. The idea is to give dogs a home away from home when their families are busy and away!I live in my own house with my two children (5 and 8), our dog Toffee and our cat Jude. My family and I treat every dog that comes to our house as if they were part of the family as well! The dogs have full access to the house and they are allowed on the sofas and beds and when they spend the night they usually sleep in the bed with me. The dogs usually spend the day following me around, playing with each other, hanging out in the garden and playing with the kids. My kids, my pets and I love the dogs and love this job! I welcome every dog (small and medium) into our house as long as they are ok with small children, cats and other dogs.I will feed them as instructed by the owner, exercise them and most importantly give them a lot of love and affection!

It's safe to say I love animals more than people! I grew up watching animal hospital and always wanted to be a vet. I ended up working in sales in veterinary diagnostics for 10 years and loved the clients and cuddling animals while waiting for my meetings!
I have volunteered with RSPCA and cats protection in the past.
I have two small children and the corporate life just doesn't balance with that very well which is why I gave it up. We have our own cat called smudge, dog called Hugo and a fish tank. I'd have an entire menagerie if my husband would let me!
Now I am turning my passion especially for dogs into a job and offering dog walking services. I am DBS checked, insured as a pet business and pet first aid trained.

Based in Bracknell and covering Bracknell and the surrounding areas such as ascot.

I spent years growing up in Africa and always wanted to be a marine biologist, or work in the game reserves with and rescuing animals. When we moved back to UK ive always found myself drawn to animals and happiest when surrounded by them. I have just formally started dog sitting and I love every second of it.
I offer a dog loving sitting service for toy breeds, small and medium sized dogs, I treat train dogs with lots of enthusiasm and encourage lots of play time outside. There is a fenced third of an acre of grassed garden area for the dogs to enjoy, I have a dog room seperated from the kitchen for dogs that are nervous or prefer a quieter environment also with a seperate outdoor enclosed patio area to toilet, away from the other dogs. My two children are over seven years and experienced with x small dogs, delicate breeds and elderly dogs aswell. I have 20years of experience with senior dogs, and dogs with medical issues, my passion lies here with the senior dogs. I can offer elderly dogs a ride in a soft blanked trolley if they struggle to walk, more treats and softer cuddles, mini massage for those achy muscles and lots of praise and the extra attention they deserve. I also have dog steps for the dogs that struggle to climb or can no longer jump and a spot of the bed if thats where they used to sleeping. This all applies to toy breeds, XS and small dogs and eslecially the super nervious ones. I can help with new puppies that are still with mum with feeding and weaning and sit with them if you just need to sleep or run errands as I have experience with breeding aswell. I offer blanketed trolley for dogs that cant or wont walk, so they get to experience to outside. I do only offer 1 dog overnight boarding. Drop Ins - happy to have them at my own home if you need to pop out or pop into your home for the visit. No minimum stay required.Experienced with nervous rescue dogs, and aggressive dogs.Passionate and experience with elderley/senior dogs.
I have a large enclosed garden and two papillions for company, my front door has an inside secondary door for an extra safety measure. I would preferably offer pet sitting services to dogs that are toybreed, small and medium in size as my own are so small unless its drop in services you are looking for in which case I am happy to drop in for larger breeds and other pets too! If have an elderley large dog I am happy to consider daycare or boarding for the larger senior dogs too. I am very familiar with puppies, training weaning bottle feeding and birthing aswell. It is important to me that your dog trusts me and enjoys our time together, whether it be a drop in or overnight. I am happy for your dog to be crated overnight, or sleep in my room on the bed. I have alot of space third of acre for your dog to run wild in our enclosed garden and splash around in our doggy pop up pool in the summer and a seperated patio area if they need a quieter space all with locked gates. I am a freelance photographer so with your permission will be taking lots of photos of your dogs. For senior dogs they will extra special attention like a little back massage so help achy bones, and young dogs lots games and play, I also have experience with very scared rescue and aggressive dogs, I dont scare easily and would instead find a way to get your dog to trust me and spend time learning their language and understanding their behaviour.

Hi, I'm Christina, and I'm a huge dog lover!I grew up with a Labrador called Pebbles, who sadly passed away two years ago. She was such a special part of our family, and ever since then I've loved spending time with dogs and caring for them.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with friendly company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I tailor my care to each dog's personality, age, and energy level. Walks are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on their needs, and I'll always follow your routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and any special instructions.
Having owned and cared for my own dog for many years, I'm confident with all aspects of day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, sticking to routines, administering simple medication, and recognising when a dog needs exercise, rest, or reassurance. I'm patient with nervous or anxious dogs and understand the importance of letting them settle at their own pace. I'm also happy caring for energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If caring for more than one dog, I'll ensure each receives individual attention while keeping walks and interactions safe and well managed.
During dog sitting, your dog will receive plenty of attention, toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. Their safety is always my priority, and I'll supervise them closely while sending regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll remain calm and act quickly in your dog's best interests. I'll contact you immediately and, if needed, take your dog to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency veterinary practice while following any instructions you've provided.
I always prefer to meet dogs before their first walk or stay so they can get to know me and feel comfortable. For off-lead walks, I ask that dogs have reliable recall, as their safety is my top priority.
I'm currently a student home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. I live in a clean, calm, dog-friendly home close to Ash Ranges, which is perfect for long, enriching walks. Having grown up in the area, I know plenty of great walking routes, and I'll make sure your dog has a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while in my care.
I'm also DBS checked !

All aspects of dog care experience over many years from puppy birth delivery to basic trainng, rehabilitation support, administering medicines and of course most importantly daily love and care. All on a 1-2-1 basis in a safe, secure and high quality environment of my own home. Nothing is too much trouble..
I have a compeltely dog secure, fully fenced garden in an established private road in central Ascot, ensuring safety for the dogs. Your pet would also be accompanied by my own gorgeous Shipoo - an additional play mate for their stay. I also provide a dog grooming serivice seperately.
I like to know as much information about the doggies I look after - eating/potty/sleep walk schedules as well as knowing any anxieties your dog may have. I always suggest having a "meet and greet" before the first visit. In a nutshell I want to make their stay as comfortable as possible so the more information the better.

Hi there! I'm Eliesher, a 19 year old animal lover who has a horse, a cat and two bunnies. I love taking care of dogs and have offered walking and holiday services previously for owners. I have a large house with an upstairs and downstairs and an open-plan kitchen that is kept clean/sanitary (of course, no food lying around). I also have a big garden that the dogs will be allowed to play in during their stay. The garden is secure with tall fencing so they cannot get out, but they will also be supervised at all times. They can also be taken out for walks around my quiet neighbourhood, with a lovely forest trail/heath within a 5 minute walk from my house- I can be quite active so they will get plenty exercise depending on requirements. In regard to boarding dogs, it is a plus if they are friendly with cats (I have one) however not essential as they can be separated to half of the house. I normally work the weekends so am not as available during these times, however I am currently free in the week. I am very responsible and know multitudes about animal care since I have owned and looked after animals my whole life as an ongoing passion. I know how hard it is to leave your pets with someone new, so I will send you updates throughout the day to clear your conscience and show you how much fun your pet is having! I look forward to meeting your doggies soon!
Note: please no dogs that chew furniture or aren't toilet trained!
