For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Saltdean for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Saltdean Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Saltdean sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who offers a calm, cosy home where dogs are truly treated like family. Although I’m new to professional dog sitting, I grew up with 4 Beagles from the age of five, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I’m confident with puppies, including basic training and teaching fun tricks, and I also have experience supporting senior dogs. I recently cared for my own senior dog, who I was very close to, so I’m comfortable giving medication, following routines, and providing plenty of patience and affection. I live alone in a quiet flat, which makes it a peaceful and relaxed environment for dogs who enjoy consistency and a slower pace. To help keep the space comfortable and stress-free, I’m best suited to dogs who are toilet trained and up to date with their vaccinations. While I don’t have a garden, I live directly opposite a park with plenty of green spaces just seconds away, and I love taking dogs out for walks, including trips to the beach, the park and many more. Your dog will be well looked after, gently spoiled, and surrounded by lots of love, cuddles, and thoughtful care while you’re away.

Hi! I'm Jo and I love animals I'm Brighton born and bred and now live in Hove, very close to the seafront.
For a long time I worked in the insurance industry, but I've decided to have a complete career change and get stuck into the work of animal care!
Growing up, we always had cats and small animals at home, but I now have experience looking after dogs (senior and nervous), bearded dragons, bunnies and cats for people. I'm enjoying learning new things and forming little bonds with the animals I see on a regular basis.
I have two little guinea pigs of my own; Rodney and Derek, who I dote on, and will jump at the chance to tell you guinea pigs facts, whether you've asked for them or not!
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions as i'd love to be able to help!
