For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Smallfield for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Smallfield Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Smallfield sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello,
My name is Karolina and I am originally from Poland.
Since childhood, I have always had pets, and I truly enjoyed their company.
I work from home, love walking, and love dogs, so I thought, why not help others and at the same time have the opportunity to have dogs again in my life.
I am dedicated to providing my furry companions with the best care possible. I understand their needs and strive to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe.
I have deep empathy for dogs and treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve. Above all, I love dogs unconditionally and enjoy spending time with them, whether going for a walk, playing games, or simply cuddling on the sofa.
I am working full time, but from home, therefore I can look after dogs during the week and at the weekends, providing sufficient walks and toilet breaks as many times as needed during the day.
I always follow the rules given by the owners and keep dogs on the lead if that is requested. I have a communal garden, which is fenced, but also live very close to local woods that provide great opportunities for dogs to exercise and have some fun outside.

I have just moved to Crawley with my two beagles Abby and Mia. I'm currently taking some long service leave from my Government job. I love animals, walking and being outdoors so thought this was the perfect thing to do while I am on leave. I have fostered rescue puppies, dogs and rabbits before, including a deaf dog that required extra training and support. Ive also grown up with both dogs and cats (and other animals like chickens, ducks and mice). My two beagles also require medication regularly and so I am experienced in giving tablets to dogs. I'm available for dog walks during the day and can make these as long as you would like (e.g. 30, 60, 90 mins). I am also available to come and spend time with your pet at home during the day if they need some company. I used to have a rescue beagle with some behavioural issues, he was particularly anxious and sometimes aggressive around larger dogs. Due to this I am particularly sensitive to how dogs react to one another and am able to quickly respond should I sense something negative in an interaction. I understand how much pets mean to a family and so would treat your pets as i do my own, with lots of love and care. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Hi, I'm Mollie! I recently returned to the UK after a year in Australia and I'm currently looking for work so spending my days with dogs sounds like the perfect way to spend my free time! From the age of 7 I had a Labrador called Alfie who lived to the impressive age of 14, and I've also taken care of friends/families dogs a handful of times over the years so I've grown up around pets and hope to have another of my own someday. Whilst I'm not working I will be available to stay with your pet all day, and give them as much attention as they could need! If you live quite locally to me, I'm happy to pick up and drop off too. I also have a decent sized garden with lots of nice places nearby for long walks, so they should be very happy here . Trying to get my 10k steps in every morning so I'm sure dogs will love that!

I have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I began my passion for caring for pets when I was a little girl, looking after the dogs and cats of family, friends, and neighbors whenever they went on vacation. I’m a lifelong animal lover, graduated in Animal Science, and experience with many different species.
I provide you daily updates with photos and videos, adapt to your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I tailor care to each pet’s personality, from playful walks to quiet cuddles, and your peace of mind is my priority.
For everyone’s safety and wellbeing, I only accept fully vaccinated pets into my home, as I have a dog of my own. He is fully trained, very friendly, and sociable. Your dog would need to be friendly as well, and they will have plenty of time to safely meet, bond, and play together.

Hi im Clarissa, 29 year old part time teacher and full time pup mum. I have my own cheeky Border Collie - Lunar, who loves play mates and learning new tricks. I am very experienced having grown up with Collies, Alsatians and Huskies my entire life. I live in a house with a back garden so pups can play together there as well as having plenty of walkies. If needed/ preferred I can come to yours to pup/ cat sit. typical day with me would include at least one sometimes two (hour / hour and a half) dog walks - followed by some down time, cuddles and a bit of training and brain games. I am experienced in giving medication should your pup need it as well as lots of cuddles, playing, training and of course treats! If you're choosing to bring you pup to mine, Your doggo would need to be ok with other dogs as they would be hanging out with Lunar if at mine, but I only allow one other dog at mine (unless the same owner has more than one dog). Dog walks can be done local to you or at mine which tends to be around Water Colour. Let me know if you need my help, always happy to look after any and all breeds when I am available.
I work part Time from home so pets would never be left for longer than an hour at a time.
Service can be discussed to your needs and what is best for your pup or kitty. I can provide dog walks, training, cuddles, feeding at designated times etc.
Pets if staying over night would be downstairs with Lunar (my pup) and either on the dog bed or they are welcome on the couches. I have a fully enclosed back yard and the back doors are always open for the pups to go outside. Unfortunately no doggos on beds in my house. If however I am sitting at yours and you allow pups/ cats on the beds that's not a problem. Dogs would need to be ok with both men and women as I live with a lovely man, who shares my love for animals. My neighbourhood is super pet friendly with beautiful lakes and Woodlands nearby.
I am currently free all days except Thursdays. Please do get in touch and let me know if I can help.

Hi my name is Daniel, I have a chocolate cockapoo puppy who loves to play and go on long walks. I work from home 2 days a week and my weekends and evenings are always free!
I adore animals and my days revolve around my dog and making sure that he has everything he needs.
I would love the opportunity to look after your pups for as long as you needed. I have a vast amount of experience with dogs from a young age which makes my place the perfect sanctuary for your dog.
My house is completely dog proof with an enclosed back garden and no stairs.
My dog loves to play and also relax so if your dog wants to escape and have some socialisation then bring them my way.
All I ask is that you give me a full description of your dogs needs and requirements.
Thank you

I’m a huge dog lover and a dog owner myself, so I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your pup. I’ll care for your dog as I’d want someone to care for my own – with lots of attention, affection, playtime and plenty of cuddles!
I have experience caring for dogs through having my own, and I’m comfortable with different personalities, from playful and energetic pups to dogs who are happier having a quiet day and some company. I’m also very happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including their usual feeding times, walks, treats and any little habits that make them feel at home.
I can offer dog sitting/day care and overnight stays, depending on availability. I’m also happy to arrange a meet beforehand so you and your dog can get to know me and make sure everyone feels comfortable before their first stay.
I have a small female Chihuahua at home, so dogs staying with me would need to be comfortable around another small dog. Her safety and your dog’s comfort are equally important, so I’d always want them to meet first before confirming an overnight stay.
I live in a dog-friendly flat with a balcony and grass area nearby, with several parks within easy reach for plenty of walks and outdoor time.
Most importantly, I want your dog to feel like they’re having their own little holiday while you’re away – and for you to be able to relax knowing they’re being properly loved and looked after. ️

Hi! I am Julie, an experienced pet sitter based in Horsham who truly enjoys spending time with animals and making them feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and attention, following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel at home.
I am comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, including young or energetic pets, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous dogs who benefit from patience and reassurance. I can also follow basic training routines and administer simple medications according to owner instructions.
For boarding and daycare, your furry baby will be staying in a calm, clean home environment where they receive plenty of supervision and companionship throughout the day. They are rarely left alone for long periods, and I plan my schedule to ensure they have enough interaction, care, and attention.
Dogs typically receive two to three walks per day, depending on their energy level and owner preferences. Walks usually last 20–40 minutes and take place in safe local neighbourhood areas and nearby parks, always on leash for safety. I also include playtime, enrichment activities, and relaxation time so pets stay both mentally and physically happy.
I prioritize safety by supervising outdoor time closely, using secure leashes and maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times. Inside the home, I keep the environment pet-safe and comfortable with access to fresh water, rest areas, and regular toilet breaks.
Looking forward to meet you and your furry friends!
