I have been an animal lover my whole life. While growing up we always had a pet, either a dog or cat and sometimes both! A few years ago, I rescued a beautiful dog from Greece who I loved and cared for and who was walked 5 times a day until May 2025 when she passed. My cat that we had had for 15 years had passed in the March so I decided then that I could no longer deal with that pain of losing them so the next best thing was to look after other people's. This was something I had been doing anyway while I had my own pets for at least 10 years but now I wanted to travel around a bit and house sit too. I'd heard over the years that kennels can be very stressful for some animals so I believe that caring for the pet in their own home is a lot less stressful. Your pet will be extremely cared for while in my care and your instructions will be carried out to the letter so you can rest assured they will be safe and happy while you're away. I have successfully completed a pet first aid course and quite happy to administer any medication needed

I am a retired married man who loves dogs and have previously owned in my life two Newfoundlands and a Labrador so am very used to BIG dogs.&nbsp;
I live in a bungalow with my wife and being retired have alot of spare time. We have a large totally enclosed garden which is ideal for a dog to play in.
I like walking and taking a dog out gives me that little bit more of a reason to walk. We live very near the countryside and as a sitter, assuming you as the owner are happy with that, your dog would get a chance to take walks in that countryside.

Hello! i'm Lexie and here's a bit about my experience in the animal industry  I have over 5 years experience with dogs. 
I would love if you gave me a chance to care for your pet! I currently work as a Dog Handler for a Security company and have also volunteered for years with Dog walking/pet sitting to help the elderly/people in need of extra help. I had my own pet sitting business (Leash.N.lounge) before my job change &amp; and was able to pet sit &amp; walk lots of dogs (check gallery for reviews) 
I'm available for whatever day suits you. I'm happy to provide walks, daycare or boarding. I also offer pick ups &amp; drops off (all dogs will be transported in crash tested crates) 
I have managed dogs of all different sizes and temperaments and I'am very confident doing so  gaining my NASDU has helped me massively with understanding the behaviour of dogs. I've worked closely with a range of trainers which has helped expand my knowledge.
