For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Southwick for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Southwick Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Southwick sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello, I'm Jordan, I'm 24 years of age. I have grown up
being surrounded by animals as well as my parents
owning a boarding Kennels and Cattery, which I used to
work at before I moved away. So have seen all types of
cats and dogs over the years as well as some smaller
animals too.

I am happy to pet sit all animals, multiple too if required.
At the moment weekends I tend to always be available,
evenings of weekdays too.

Pet transportation is available to small animals,
unfortunately can't do the bigger animals due to not
having a big enough car. I am confident to take pets for
walks and continue any training if required.

When am I usually available? I am usually available every
weekend throughout the day and evening. Weekdays I
am mainly available in the evenings but may be able to
arrange a morning visit and a lunch visit too.

I will aim to stay a minimum of 2 hours with your pet(s) on
evenings and weekends I will stay longer / majority of the
day providing I don't have other pets to visit.

Dog walking: dogs will be walked for a good amount of
time depending on the size of your dog, (smaller the dog
smaller the walk). But I can confirm they will be given
 plenty for their size!
Where will I walk your dog(s)? I am confident to walk your
dogs anywhere, if the owner(s) requests for the dog not
to be walked at a set location I will avoid going there. I
may take the dog(s) to a local nature reserve or maybe a
car ride to somewhere new to walk. But this can be
 discussed with the owner(s).

House sitting: house sitting will only be available on
weekends due to the 24hr care of looking after your
home and pet(s). I will aim to stay within your house for
the majority of the day(s) or popping in and out on a
regular basis. Before leaving the house I will make sure
all windows and doors are locked securely and pet(s) put
 in crates if required.

I would happily come meet pet(s) and owner(s)
priory to looking after animals just to make sure we are all
happy with everything.

A little about me: Currently I have a full time job working for a car garage, hence why I can only provide a service
evenings on weekdays but available all day at
weekends. I do hope to go self employed doing
restorations in the future.

My motivation: I love being around animals! I enjoy
meeting new people and furry friends! I look forward to
making new friends and overall enjoy my experience and
a build a trustworthy reputation.

I have grown up surrounded by animals, horses, dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens and have always loved our furry friends
I have two labradors of my own, Bella who we've had for 9 years, and Polar Bear who is 4 years old. We had a litter of 8 puppies with Bella and Polar Bear is her son. They are both super friendly and cuddly and will play with any other breed!
I work from home so they go on daily walks in the local park and have constant company, it's become natural to start dog sitting for other people and provide a doggy day care as well.
Our home has a secure back garden, open living downstairs and is located in an open area with access to parks and a short drive to Arundel park and the beach giving loads of options each day to keep our furry friends entertained!
I've looked after other people's dogs for numerous years now ranging from small to large dogs, those that require lots of walking and those that just like a cuddle on the sofa!
When boarding your dog will be treated as they would be at home. If they are allowed on the sofa at home it will be the same at mine!

Hey, thank you for clicking onto my page. My names Grace and I wanted to tell you a little about my set up at home. - we LOVE doggies, and have a 11 year old dachshund called Winnie. Shes super friendly and loves company. She's often herself gone to doggy day care and is great with other breeds. I have a big garden, we now live in Pyecombe so everyday we go on country walks.- I have two small children, one who is 9 and one baby who is 2, they are both amazing with animals. We go out walking everyday with the dog and I am also home with them working from home. It's important that your dog is okay with small children and other dogs. I will follow and try to adjust to your plan of your own dog to the best I can. Here they will always be treated like they are our own. Any questions, drop me a message:)

Hello! My name is Juliette, I am 22 years old and I have a lifelong passion for animals and extensive hands-on experience with a variety of pets. I cared for my own cats for now 15 years, including through illness, and still have a cat named Toupie today that I love more than anything. I’ve also looked after my grandparents’ two poodles for a while and currently care for my boyfriend’s cute German Shepherd named Skye (now that I moved in with him). Don't be scared, Skye is completely harmless, and your dog would stay with me in the Annex (the studio where I leave in the house). I will walk only with your dog without Skye, and it would go in the backyard alone without her either. I taught some tricks to Skye so if you're interested I can have fun try with your dog!
My love for animals extends to horses. I have been riding since the age of four, regularly help my aunt care for her six horses, and am confident in handling and tending to them. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or horses, I bring patience, reliability, and genuine affection to every animal I look after. I look forward to spend time with your pets, feel free to message me with any question!

Hi there! I'm Maria, an animal enthusiast with a deep connection to every furry companion I meet. I believe in providing animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve, recognizing them as cherished members of our families. Throughout my life, animals have been my constant companions, shaping my values of compassion, empathy, kindness, and respect towards all creatures.
My lifelong dedication to animals began in my childhood, where growing up surrounded by pets taught me invaluable lessons about their needs and unique personalities. This early bond inspired me to extend my care and love to stray dogs in my home country, a journey supported by my mother since I embarked on this path at a young age. While my rescued dogs now reside with her, you can view pictures of them in my gallery, including a tribute to my beloved Sasha, who shared my life for a remarkable ten years and five months. Her memory is forever cherished, symbolized by a tattoo on my arm.
Drawing from extensive experience in pet sitting and dog walking, I ensure the safety and well-being of every furry companion under my care. I tailor my services to meet each pet's individual needs and requirements, providing a nurturing and secure environment for them to thrive. Additionally, I am adept at administering medications for pets, ensuring their health needs are meet with precision and care.
As a dedicated pet sitter entrusted with the well-being of pets in their own homes, I understand the importance of adapting to the unique needs of each client. I am committed to delivering personalized care and attention to your beloved furry friend, creating a positive and enriching experience for them while you're away.
I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Sustainable Development at Sussex University. Due to my academic commitments, I am available from Thursday to Monday, offering flexible care options over the weekend to accommodate your needs.

In summary, the services I offer include:
Walking 3-4 dogs simultaneously to provide individualized care and attention to each furry friend.
Customized feeding schedules tailored to each pet's specific requirements.
Administering medications to ensure your pet's health needs are properly addressed. (If needed).
Home visits: available for extended stays on my days off, including watering plants upon request.
Open to look after all types of pets.
Regular updates including adorable pictures of your beloved friend sent via WhatsApp.

I am excited about the opportunity to provide exceptional care for your furry family member and look forward to the chance to create a positive and nurturing environment for them in your absence!

All the best,
Maria.

I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who offers a calm, cosy home where dogs are truly treated like family. Although I’m new to professional dog sitting, I grew up with 4 Beagles from the age of five, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I’m confident with puppies, including basic training and teaching fun tricks, and I also have experience supporting senior dogs. I recently cared for my own senior dog, who I was very close to, so I’m comfortable giving medication, following routines, and providing plenty of patience and affection. I live alone in a quiet flat, which makes it a peaceful and relaxed environment for dogs who enjoy consistency and a slower pace. To help keep the space comfortable and stress-free, I’m best suited to dogs who are toilet trained and up to date with their vaccinations. While I don’t have a garden, I live directly opposite a park with plenty of green spaces just seconds away, and I love taking dogs out for walks, including trips to the beach, the park and many more. Your dog will be well looked after, gently spoiled, and surrounded by lots of love, cuddles, and thoughtful care while you’re away.

Hi! I'm Jo and I love animals I'm Brighton born and bred and now live in Hove, very close to the seafront.
For a long time I worked in the insurance industry, but I've decided to have a complete career change and get stuck into the work of animal care!
Growing up, we always had cats and small animals at home, but I now have experience looking after dogs (senior and nervous), bearded dragons, bunnies and cats for people. I'm enjoying learning new things and forming little bonds with the animals I see on a regular basis.
I have two little guinea pigs of my own; Rodney and Derek, who I dote on, and will jump at the chance to tell you guinea pigs facts, whether you've asked for them or not!
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions as i'd love to be able to help!
