For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Thorner for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Thorner Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Thorner sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, thank you for visiting my page! I have a huge passion for all animals, having had dogs all my life. Big dogs, small dogs - I love them all.

I have lots of love and attention to give to your pets as I work from home on Fridays and am free over weekends and bank holidays. I love being out in nature and I lead an active lifestyle.

I have over 5 years experience in dog-boarding, having looked after a range of breeds. My house is spacious and has a decent-sized fenced garden, perfect for quick toilet breaks.

I live close to the canal and woods, so you can expect a minimum of two walks a day (depending on your dog’s needs), cuddles and daily photo updates!

Always happy to cater to your dog’s needs, so let me know if you have specific requirements. I’m also confident in caring for dogs with medical needs and administering antibiotics/medication.

Note - I will host up to two dogs at once (within the same family).

I know just how important it is to find the right person to look after your dog, so I’m happy to chat and meet beforehand!

Hey! I’m Magda, a prosthetist based in Leeds. I’ve grown up with animals and understand their unique personalities, quirks, and routines. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I really miss having that companionship around, which is why I love spending time caring for other people’s pets.
Whether it’s cuddling with cats, walking dogs, or looking after small pets, I’ll make sure your friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I understand that every pet is different, so I always take the time to learn their individual needs, habits, and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure.
I have experience caring for both cats and dogs through petsitting for friends and family, and I’m confident handling a variety of personalities and temperaments. My priority is always to ensure that they feel relaxed, well cared for, and receive plenty of attention and affection.
You can count on me to be responsible, trustworthy, and reliable. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your friend is in good hands. I’m also more than happy to meet before any booking.
Drop me a message if you have any questions️

I've been dog walking professionally for years, as well as boarding. We've had everything from Pomeranians to Alaskan Malamutes. I've handled extremely strong (physically and mentally) dogs of all breeds so I'm not put off by much! All the dogs get to stay in a home from home environment during their stay, they allowed on sofas and have free roam of the house, we try to encourage to stay off the bed but can always have a quick cuddle in the morning. On walks, I take most my dogs to secure fields where they can be let off lead and have full freedom, as well as a good play with other dogsI've got qualifications in Animal Management, Canine Buisness and I'm Pet First Aid trained. I'm a massive dog person and always have been! I finally got my first dog in 2021 and he's the best thing I've ever bought. He's super chill and loves company from fellow dog friends. Although massive on dogs, I am partial to a cat or two Your pets will be very well cared for and loved unconditionally.
