I have loved animals since a child and grew up surrounded by animals and had several pets of my own; rabbits, birds, cats, dogs, parrots, hamsters, ferrets, ducks and chickens! 

I have experience with Border Collies, Yorkshire Terriers, Scottish Highland Terriers, German Shepherds, Shih tzu, Cockapoo's, Labrador's and Cocker Spaniels. Tabby Cats and Persian Ragdolls. 

I have been working F/T as a HR / Office Manager for over 10 years. I recently came to the conclusion it is time to come off the hamster wheel and rat race and have more freedom and work life balance.

With so many people having to return to the office since the pandemic and remote working. Pet owners are struggling to carry out the usual daily dog walks. Or fretting about having to leave their beloved pet alone for long periods of the day.

My name is Kirthin, I rcently moved to the area and I am originally from South Africa. Back home I have 4 dogs of my own ranging from the size of a Tea-cup Yorkie to a large South African Mastiff. I have been pet sitting various pets for the past 7 years ranging from cats, birds, fish and dogs and currently have a few pet parents who I provide services to in London as well.&nbsp;
From birth my family and I grew up with pets and I cannot describe the love and affection I share with them. I always see animals as part of the family regardless of what they are and treat them with the love and affection they deserve. I treat every pet as one of my own and am not afraid to get my hands dirty when they are ill or in need of care.&nbsp;
Throughout my pet sitting years I have gained experience in walking, cleaning, and caring for pets of different size and age. I have been an animal lover my whole life. While growing up we always had a pet, either a dog or cat and sometimes both! A few years ago, I rescued a beautiful dog from Greece who I loved and cared for and who was walked 5 times a day until May 2025 when she passed. My cat that we had had for 15 years had passed in the March so I decided then that I could no longer deal with that pain of losing them so the next best thing was to look after other people's. This was something I had been doing anyway while I had my own pets for at least 10 years but now I wanted to travel around a bit and house sit too. I'd heard over the years that kennels can be very stressful for some animals so I believe that caring for the pet in their own home is a lot less stressful. Your pet will be extremely cared for while in my care and your instructions will be carried out to the letter so you can rest assured they will be safe and happy while you're away. If your dog is used to being around cats I can board a dog happily, and they won't be left home alone, only on the occasion if I have an appointment,  but that would be a maximum of 2 hours. Being at home, I have flexibility and availability for dog walks or drop-in visits for your cat or dog, making sure they get lots of love and attention. Having left my pets with sitters myself,  I understand the anxiety this causes.&nbsp;
I will reassure you that your pet is doing well with updates and photos. It's so important to know our furry family members are being well looked after when you aren't with them.
