For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Caldicot for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Caldicot Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Caldicot sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I am new here Aug 2026, I love it when a dog comes over to say hello. I would like to welcome friendly house‑trained dogs into my home for a day of fun & relaxation, a sleepover, a **local walk** or any combination of these. I share my house with an active 10.5‑year‑old female Vizsla, she can be seen in some pictures. She has been with me from 8 weeks old. We have a quiet and peaceful time at home with regular bursts fun shenanigans and enrichment activity. We enjoy a part‑sun part‑shade enclosed private garden surrounded by friendly neighbours. I have experience with many different breeds of dog, I love all the different personalities.
Dogs can be anywhere in the house, there are dog beds in the lounge and dining room also blankets on the sofa. My dog typically stays downstairs. There is a soft mat under the desk in my study; if your dog likes to nestle at your feet they can do that here with me. (Sorry, no dogs in my bed overnight.) There is always access to fresh water.
Your fur baby will be treated with love, affection and given lots of attention like they were my own. I will send updates on how your dog is doing along with some pictures and video for your peace of mind.
If you have a puppy (that is being or has been crate trained) then your puppy is welcome along with its crate. For dogs of all ages, if you give me a list of commands or tricks I can practise what you have been learning. I have a clicker.
**Local walk**: There are several walking options from my house depending on what sort of outing your dog likes. I have a long extendable lead if your dog does not have good recall. (I use cheese‑based bribery to ensure recall if you are happy with off‑lead.) Walks are for the most part off and away from roads.
Reach out to me for any queries or enquiries,
Markus.

I'm a photography student here in Bristol and have the whole summer free to get outside walking and hopefully take a doggy with me.
I'm flexible, reliable and able to provide any special requests that you might have, whether it's attending to an elderly dog in your own home, bathe, give required medication, take multiple excitable dogs out together or stay over night in your home or mine.
In my home, your pet will receive the care they need; they are never left alone more than a couple hours, they will have multiple long walks throughout the day to ensure they sleep well at night, if your dog is elderly and just prefers a short game a ball in the park then that's totally fine, I will cater to the needs of individual pets.
I live in Bristol now with a couple of my good friends who love cuddling a dog, so your pet will get a lot of love and affection. My home has plenty of space inside and have a reasonably sized garden that has a secure fence. I am able to let your pet sleep wherever they are most comfortable and your preference, whether thats in a crate, in their own dog bed, in my bedroom, sofa, kitchen etc.
In my surrounding area I have many of lovely parks for your pet to run around in to ensure they get the exercise they need.
In your home, I will be respectful and follow any rules / requests you might ask of me.

I have many 5* reviews / references I can provide upon request

Hi my name’s Amanda and I’m a 50 year old sports administrator. As a hobby I have been cat sitting with Pawshake for several years now. I initially made some fantastic furry friends in the Bedminster / Southville area. I then moved to Horfield and have been looking after some lovely cats in the Gloucester Road / St Andrews / Lockleaze area. I have now bought a flat in Fishponds so am looking to make some new furry friends in this new area. Booking must be local as I don’t have a car and work full time. I can only do evening visits on week days.
You can go away safe in the knowledge that your cats will be fed, watered, stroked and played with if they are game! I’m used to cleaning out litter trays if the cats are kept indoors. I'm am comfortable administering any medication if needed. I would spend around half an hour per visit. I would also be willing to water plants, bring in deliveries or put out bins etc whilst I'm visiting! I can send you updates including pictures as much or as little as you wish whilst you are away!
Please take a look at my fantastic reviews if you want peace of mind. I have had 26 bookings and have cat sat from 1 day to 3 weeks. We would need to meet prior to the booking so I can meet you and your pets to discuss the requirements. I look forward to making new friends, so hope to hear from you.

Hi I'm Charlotte and I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I've always had pets and am a total animal lover. I love all animals and will shower them all with love. I will come in and feed, spend time with your dog/ cat and give them lots of cuddles if they like that or will simply sit with them or play with them. I ensure food bowls are clean and fresh water is put down. I can also clean the litter trays. I always do a meet and greet so I can learn about your pets likes/ dislikes and their routine.
I live in easton in gordano and am happy to cover Portishead/ Clifton/ shiehampton / Redland/ and any surrounding areas within a 5 mile radius.I can send you daily updates with photos and videos and you can always contact me so I can put your mind at rest. Im more than happy to feed any rabbits/ Guinea pigs/ hamsters as I've had all these animals at one point. Please do get in touch and I would love speak to you. Always happy to do a meet and greet beforehand. I have reviews on my rover account that you can read.

Hello, I’m Emma and I’m 28. I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. I’m currently studying Wildlife Ecology at university, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes.I’m very happy to house sit for well-behaved pets, helping them stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for cats, whether that’s feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I also offer boarding at my own home on a case by case basis.I have regular experience looking after lurchers, labs, retrievers, frenchies, spaniels, doodles and cats of all sizes. I’ve also cared for a pet iguana and would be open to looking after reptiles or snakes.I'm comfortable caring for any rodents too, and I have experience with hamsters, rats and guinea pigs.I’m confident adapting to different routines and personalities, and I always aim to be respectful and reliable! Your animals’ safety and happiness is always my priority:)
