For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Caterham for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Caterham Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Caterham sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Firstly, just to say that I love all animals.
I have a lifetime of experience with dogs, and grew up with dogs, cats and horses!

Now your fur baby can come and join our little pack family for walks, day care and holidays. In their home away from home, your li’l buddy will join our two resident, super chilled, friendly and hugely loved dogs: Alfie, the cockapoo & Luna the (very) mini schnauzer

I work from home so I’m around most of the time anyway, and part time hours mean I have plenty of time for snuggles!

The dogs have the run of my secure private garden, plus we’re next door to large communal area the dogs can have extra sniff breaks in! We’re also pretty much on the doorstep of Dulwich park, the Horniman gardens and many other local and quieter walks.
Main walks are twice a day with frequent sniff breaks, snack breaks (if allowed!) and play time. For older dogs there are quiet, cool places around the house for resting and relaxing.

Just let me know what kind of walks your dog prefers, whether they are on or off lead & how they are with other dogs, as well as their food schedule and treat allowances and we’ll be all set!

I'm a Clapham based lady dog minder with 5 years experience of looking after my doggy friends. My preference is for very small dogs, any age. Since retiring last year I have increased my commitment to my new role as it gives me so much pleasure and is good for my wellbeing. My current clients are highly satisfied with the care and attention I give to their dogs, so it's a win win situation! I never have more than two dogs in my flat and make sure they get on together before committing to looking after them. I am a few minutes walk from Clapham Common and have my own small enclosed garden which the dogs love hanging out in, weather permitting. My current dogs include two cavapoos (one a very small one), a cockapoo, a schnauzer, a cavapoochon and a rescue spaniel (mixed breed). The latter suffers fron extreme separation anxiety so I have to manage this carefully. If you have a small dog such as a maltipoo, maltese, toy poodle then I'd love to hear from you. I am flexible in the services I offer including walking, doggydaycare, overnight boarding. Walks last around one hour and dogs are never left alone in the flat, unless the owners specify otherwise. Please note that I don't include transport service, so you will need to drop off and collect your pooch. Only fully vaccinated and house trained dogs are accepted and please provide contact details of your vet, in case of emergencies. Thank you

Hi, I love animals and would love to look after your little furry friend when you are not around. Dog boarding - I tend to take dogs for long nice walks in woods in Whyteleafe. They love it.
I have 2 young cats.
I am very flexible, down to earth, easy going, responsible person.
I have quite diverse background in wildlife volunteering abroad. I used to work with tigers, elephants, sharks, dolphins, crocodiles, koala bears, parrots, emu's, snakes and phytons.
When I came back from my travels, the last 3 years I have fostered few cats and adopted one that was not given more than one month to survive. She has not only survived (liver disease and anemia), but got much better and now she has been with me for the last 3 years.
Please drop me a message even if you need last minute booking. I will spend at least 30 min with your cat or dog during my visits.
I would love to get to know your cat or dog and I promise I would look after it as my own.
Thank you

I am a pet sitter and do it alongside my remote job, I've done this for over 3 years. Starting in 2018, whilst I was at university, and started up again last year. I had a job I looked after for over 6 months before moving down south and did additional house/dog sitting.
I love to get out on walks in the morning and during my lunch break. I am an event coordinator for a conservation charity and have a flexible job, so am available Mon-Sun to look after your pets.
I've done boarding at my house, stayed over at the dog's house, and dog walking throughout the day as well.
I've always loved animals and have always had them in my own home.
Open to any animal, I'd love to help you look after your wee one, let me know how I can support and open to a meet and greet.

Hi all. I am a working professional and I have done pet sitting for friends and family over the past 25 years. I grew up in Africa and have loads of pets growing up. My childhood friend doggy was a border collie and loads of rabbits and chickens.I have qualified as dog behaviourist with Rob Alleyne from CIA. Currently awaiting with puppy foundation classes and specialist dog behaviour.I can do dog sitting and overnights in the Surrey areaI prefer to take my dogs to a local fully enclosed dog area in Morden called love lane where the dogs can run off leash, on a long leash or on lead. All according to your dogs needs. My policy is that I never allow new dogs off leash on the any first walk / visit for obvious reasons. I am willing to offer some home sitting options or walks for other doggy lovers out there. I have a fully enclosed garden which is very spacious for home sits. I am willing to accept drop-offs and pick-ups of your pups at my place for a day sit. I have a little jack russell who loves other dogs, gets on amazing company with all the dogs who come over so she will be with me for your consideration.
Happy to walk your pet in the local Morden area for longer than the app timing of needed.
Essential to do a meet and greet, and even a day care BEFORE any booking overnight stays again for obvious reasonsAs a dog owner I understand how difficult it is to get a reliable trustworthy sitter. And especially when going away for a weekend or overnight that is not going to cost the owner an absolute fortune.

I’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals, which is what motivates me to be a pet sitter. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a job to me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and find rewarding. I understand how important pets are as members of the family, so I treat every animal in my care with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs
I have hands-on experience working with animals through both personal care and my studies. I have a Level 2 Veterinary Nurse Assistant course, which has given me valuable knowledge about animal health, behaviour, and welfare. I’ve also cared for a variety of pets, including small animals and dogs, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. I have experience working as a veterinary care assistant in both referral and first opinion practices.
I have 7 guinea pigs and therefore know lots about small rodents. I also have a Scottie dog, therefore have great experience with stubborn dogs!
My goal as a pet sitter is to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I am attentive to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions given.
For the safety of all animals in my care, I only accept pets that are up to date with their vaccinations. This ensures a healthy environment for everyone. My walks will be as long as your dog needs- if you have a large dog and would like me to walk then an hour, I offer this service.

Hi! I’m a caring, responsible pet lover and a dog owner myself. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from knowing how difficult it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I often worry whether another person would look after my own dog with the same attention, patience, and love that I do and that’s exactly the level of care I want to offer to other pets. My goal is to give pet owners real peace of mind and make sure every animal feels safe, relaxed, and loved.
I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Daily routines such as feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship are always followed carefully. I adapt my care depending on each pet’s needs, whether that means energetic walks and games or calm cuddles and reassurance for more sensitive pets.
My partner and I both work from home, which means pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent attention throughout the day. This allows us to maintain routines, provide plenty of supervision, and make sure pets get enough cuddles, exercise, and rest in a calm environment. We are attentive, patient, and observant of behaviour changes, and we carefully manage interactions when caring for more than one pet.
Safety, cleanliness, and comfort are very important to us. We always follow owners’ instructions and, for the wellbeing of all animals, we only accept vaccinated pets into our home. Every pet is treated as if they were our own.

I describe myself as a cheerful person which is happy in the world of animals and I love to spend a lot of time in nature. ️I have 5 girls which love animals too and all of the time we enjoy to have any animals in our house. We are a very playful family and I"m sure that your animal will enjoy with us. Many times even though I say that I go on 2 walks and day with with the animals most of the time we end up to give 3,4 walks/day because is more fun and we all enjoy to do so. I am happy to take care of animals:CATS, DOGS RABBITS, BIRDS ...of any age or size ; vaccination or not because I look after any types of animals before and I didn't have any problem. I am open for unexpected bookings even if is 4,5 h before the booking start. ️As a experience with animals I have few months where I work for other app for animals where I received to take care of dogs sometimes ( in the last 3 months 7 dogs duringthe time which I received them again after the first meeting+ the childhood where all the time we had animals in the house where I look after them : feeding, playing , washing or walking with them because I training them in many aspects.‍🦺 One example was when I had a hen and after a while that hen started to sleep with her head on my pillow and her feet up . So for my is a pleasure and an adventure with any type of animal.I'm sure you will be very happy with my service because for me is a pleasure more than a job, and that why I think it makes the difference in many aspects. If you choose me as a pet sitter I keep update all day with pictures and videos which will give you peace and joy.

I adore animals. This photo is with domestic animals but I have photos of me with animals that aren't too including tigers. I an a polymath who delights in nature walks and being with animals and children. I was a nanny for 15 years, trained to be a therapist and now I have turned my attention, aptitudes, knowledge and instincts towards dog care and walking.Ideally I wish to have poodle, poodle mixes, schnauzers and other small breeds as this is really where my experience is. I am happy to take on dogs with medical needs but because I have a dog of my own for Daycare dogs would need to be happy dogs as my own is happy and laid back. Dogs should be vaccinated, flea treated and wormed before coming and for walks please.I can offer your dog intelligent care and by this I mean someone who has excellent communication skills. I can't help but train and teach that comes from having been a nanny. I have no doubt your dog will thrive under my care or on walks. If they are in daycare with me they will have access to agility equipment, licky mats and a range of other types of stimulation. To make sure dogs do not get bored I will walk them in different environments including the countryside if pawrents book it or request it.
