Hi my name’s Amanda and I’m a 50 year old sports administrator. As a hobby I have been cat sitting with Pawshake for several years now. I initially made some fantastic furry friends in the Bedminster / Southville area. I then moved to Horfield and have been looking after some lovely cats in the Gloucester Road / St Andrews / Lockleaze area. I have now bought a flat in Fishponds so am looking to make some new furry friends in this new area. Booking must be local as I don’t have a car and work full time. I can only do evening visits on week days. 
You can go away safe in the knowledge that your cats will be fed, watered, stroked and played with if they are game! I’m used to cleaning out litter trays if the cats are kept indoors. I'm am comfortable administering any medication if needed. I would spend around half an hour per visit. I would also be willing to water plants, bring in deliveries or put out bins etc whilst I'm visiting! I can send you updates including pictures as much or as little as you wish whilst you are away!

I have had 26 bookings and have cat sat from 1 day to 3 weeks.We would need to meet prior to the booking so I can meet you and your pets to discuss the requirements. I’ve always loved dogs - ever since I was a child, they’ve been a huge part of my life and a real passion of mine. I understand their needs and the importance of providing attentive, thoughtful care. I regularly look after friends’ dogs while they’re away on holiday, so I’m very used to caring for dogs with different routines and personalities.
We have our own dog, Maya, a 16 year-old Jack Russell Terrier. She’s very calm and enjoys her own space, happily pottering about and minding her own business. She’s friendly and gentle, but at her age she’s not a fan of very boisterous puppies, so I’m best suited to dogs who are relatively calm and comfortable around other dogs.&nbsp;
We live in a beautiful countryside location with endless walking opportunities right on our doorstep, with fields starting just outside our house. I offer at least a couple of walks a day, alongside plenty of time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We have a large and fully enclosed garden where dogs can play safely and freely.I have hands-on experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I helped care for a variety of animals (cows, pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, lamas, birds etc.). I volunteered there weekly for several months which enabled me to gain experience with different temperaments and care needs. Due to the distance and fixed volunteering times, I wasn’t able to continue, but it was a very rewarding experience that deepened my love for animal care.&nbsp;
I have two school-aged children (10 and 11) who have grown up with our dog and are fantastic with animals. They understand boundaries and treat pets with kindness and respect, helping visiting dogs feel safe and at ease.
I work from home, which means your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day. To ensure every dog gets the attention they deserve, I only board one dog at a time unless they come from the same household and already know each other.

I'm a dog lover and dog owner. I walk my own dog 2/3 times a day and he wants a friend! I don't want to get a second dog right now so this is the next best option. My dog is very friendly but I can only sit or walk for dogs that are happy with other dogs and who are vaccinated.
I work from home 3 days a week and am usually around on weekends so can be mostly flexible! Also happy to have overnight stays if required once I've got to know the pooch.
My brother has 2 golden retrievers and my partners family have 2 dogs too so I'm very experienced in wrangling multiple dogs! We live a stones throw from a huge green area and also like to go further afield for longer, more fun walks.
