For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Codicote for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Codicote Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Codicote sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello
I'm originally from Greece and as many sitters on this platform, I’ve loved dogs since I was little. I was that child who would bring home stray dogs, much to my mother’s dismay. I wasn’t allowed to keep them, but even those short moments were enough to make me dog-obsessed from a young age.
I’ve recently completed the Dog Walkers and Sitters Association (DWSA) Certificate with the British College of Canine Studies. The course covered dog behaviour, body language, first aid and more, which has really helped me gain a better understanding of safe and responsible care.
I’m available for dog walking and boarding on Wednesdays, Thursdays and weekends. I have my own dog (an intact female Vizsla) who is full of energy, so I’m very used to active, playful and affectionate dogs.
I have a patio/garden at home and there’s also a field nearby for walks and playtime. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and my goal is always to make them feel safe, and relaxed while in my care.
Thank you!

I am a friendly, reliable and experienced dog walker and pet sitter living in Harpenden. I work from home (or can work from yours) and have the flexibility to walk and look after your pets any time of the day, in the week and at weekends.
I love animals and have had many pets over the years including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils and would look after your pet with the care, affection and attention they deserve. I have previously owned a cat with a heart condition so am used to administering oral medication and regularly look after a cat with asthma which requires an inhaler.
Dog walking - walks for around one hour on the many footpaths, parks and open countryside in the local area. Unless from the same household I will only walk one dog at a time to ensure they always have my full attention. I walk dogs of all ages and sizes and know that some love to bound around and use up lots of energy and some like a gentle stroll with lots of sniffing. Unless otherwise advised I will keep them on the lead until I am confident of recall. On our return I will make sure they have fresh water and are as clean and dry as possible.
Home visits / House sitting - whatever your pet needs, just let me know. I will make sure they have food, fresh water, clean out litter trays, hutches, groom them (if required), play with them and give them lots of cuddles (if they want them that is!). If house sitting I will walk dogs twice a day. Happy to water plants, put bins out, take in parcels etc whilst you are away. Whether it be drop in visits or long stays whilst you are away, I will look after your home like my own and make sure it is well looked after, safe and secure.
Daycare / Boarding - I live in a relaxed, comfortable house with a large secure back garden that dogs can access any time they like. They will have lots of cuddles and are welcome to relax and snooze on the sofas. My garden backs onto woods, with gated access, that lead onto many lovely footpaths and open spaces. There will be two walks a day and I will only look after one dog at a time (unless from the same household) so you can be confident they will always have my full attention. I am also able to look after rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils etc.
I understand how important communication is and will keep you regularly updated, with pictures, on how your pet (and home) is doing so you know they are safe, happy and healthy whilst you are away. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the services I offer, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am DBS checked and look forward to hearing from you and meeting your lovely pets.

Hello pet parents️ I am looking forward to start to take care of your babies, while you can enjoy your holiday, or taking care of your work, unexpected time away from your pets. I am a cat owner of two myself, Pufi 12 (son)Dorombolo 13(mom) they are with me and my partner since birth. I know how frustrating can be worrying about our pets, while we are away, and I will make sure to take care of your love ones . Pufi had a skin allergy for 5 years, (he is much better now) from this reason I have experience to shower, giving medicine, brush daily their fur. I took care of other friends dogs, cats before, now I decided to give a try to do it more often In my free time. During the day I work as an Accountant, 75% working from home. Available service:Dog walking Weekday early mornings 30 minutes afternoon/evenings 30-45minutes. Weekend all day 30-60 minutes, home visit weekday afternoons 30-45 minutes , weekends all day 1-2 times 30-60 minutes., Night stay only Friday-Saturday. I am looking forward to meet you and your little furry family members.

Hi! I’m Veronika, and I’ve always loved dogs. Growing up with pets taught me how important it is to care for them with patience and kindness, and that’s why I’m passionate about pet sitting. I want to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.
I live with my husband, but since I mostly work from home, I’m around a lot to give plenty of attention and care. I’ve looked after dogs for friends and family, handling walks, meals, playtime, and even medication when needed.
We share our home with Truffle, our energetic English Springer Spaniel who loves to play and cuddle on the sofa. She’s very friendly with other dogs, so I only take on pups that are dog-friendly to keep everyone happy.
For safety, I only look after fully vaccinated dogs. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’ll make sure they get all the love and care they deserve while you’re away.

Many years of looking after my own (currently have my little boy Benji who is great with other dogs) and other people’s dogs, as well as volunteering with rescue dogs at a shelter abroad.

I’m a self employed artist working from home with my own little dog Benji who is great with other dogs. I have a completely flexible schedule perfect for taking the best care and giving attention to your much loved pup.

I have my super friendly boy Benji to keep your pup company. I live on a permanently moored widebeam houseboat with garden and decking area. Getting on and off is easy but I always take extra care with the dogs. The garden is secure and I’m in the perfect location for amazing walks in every direction from Hertford lock.

I typically take Benji out for 3 walks a day, two of which are nice and long. We are blessed with the most amazing location to go on the best walks without having to encounter roads in all directions. Back at home it’s a very relaxed environment, with lots of snuggles and playtime.

I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been lucky enough to share my life with two wonderful companions in the past — Duffy the gentle Great Dane and Kiedis the playful Boxer. Since losing them both, the house feels far too quiet.
I have a spacious home and a secure garden where a dog can play and relax, with a park a stones throw away. I love getting out for long walks along the river and back. I’d be delighted to offer a loving, safe, and fun environment for a furry friend — and to enjoy a bit of canine company again.
I'm unable to fully commit to my own dog due to working in London, so taking on dog sitting allows me to have the balance of both.
I can offer weekday evenings, Mondays and Fridays , along with weekends. Happy to take on last minute bookings! Looking forward to hopefully meeting your pup soon! X

Hi! My name is Mia and I’m 23 years old. I live in Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, in close proximity to Sherrardspark Wood, one of my go-to spots for relaxed, fun dog walks surrounded by nature!

I studied animal care in college and I’ve been around animals my entire life. I previously worked at Pets at Home for over a year, so I’m very confident caring for pets day-to-day. I’ve also pet-sat for lots of friends and family, and have looked after many dogs and cats through BorrowMyDoggy. I’m a huge cat lover myself and grew up with them, so feline care is something I’m super comfortable with!

I have two cats at my family home (not at my current address), so any pets I board will have my flat entirely to themselves. This makes it an especially calm environment for cats who prefer quiet, stress-free spaces.

Services I offer:
1. Dog Walking
30–45 minutes tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a gentle stroll or an energetic walk. Plenty of exercise, fresh air, sniffing time, and bathroom breaks.

2. 1x Visit a Day
Up to 1 hour. Perfect for cats, dogs, rabbits, or small animals. Includes feeding, litter cleaning, fresh water, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and company.

3. 2x Visit a Day
Two visits, ideal for cats who need medication, kittens who need more attention, or dogs that get lonely during the day.

4. Doggy Day Care
Supervised care in my home: walks, playtime, and plenty of company.

5. Boarding (Cats & Dogs)
Overnight care in a safe, comfortable environment. Cats get a peaceful, quiet space, enrichment, brushing (if they enjoy it), and all the cosy spots they like to explore. Dogs get walks, play, and plenty of affection.

Other pets (cats, rabbits, fish, small animals etc.) Happy to discuss needs and pricing separately.

I’m available seven days a week and happy to fit visits or walks around your schedule, just let me know what works best for you!

Please let me know in advance if your pet has any medical conditions, is elderly, requires medication, or needs any special care. I’m confident with all breeds, ages, temperaments, and species.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’m thrilled to have this opportunity and can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family.
