Hi, I’m Ella – a lifelong animal lover originally from the English countryside. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, from dogs and chickens to donkeys, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life.
I genuinely adore all dogs – they bring me so much joy. I have a lot of experience in looking after other people’s dogs for years, including administering medication, going on long walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or making sure they’re comfortable and happy, I treat every pet as if they’re my own.
I now live in a pet-friendly home with lots of enclosed, outside space for walks - and am just a short distance away from lovely walks along the river. Your dog will be in loving hands with me, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and completely at home.
Pet care fits really easily into my daily routine as I already lead a very active lifestyle and enjoy getting outside each day. I go on regular walks and runs, so having a dog to care for naturally becomes part of that, whether it’s longer walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I work flexibly at the moment, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, stick to their usual routines, and be around for feeding, walks, and any specific needs. I’m very organised and enjoy having structure to my day, so making sure a pet is well looked after, exercised, and happy fits in really well with my lifestyle.

I have recently moved back home to the Reading area and I'm missing spending time with dogs and cats! I'm 24 and have owned both dogs and cats for most of my life, building a love for animals. I have extensive previous experience pet-sitting, having used this app for over 2 years.&nbsp;
My experience has consisted of housesitting for families, feeding their dogs and taking them out for regular walks. I'm also happy to help with small house maintenance tasks while you are away, such as watering plants. I additionally have previously taken care of cats, giving them lots of attention, cleaning litter and feeding them.
I haven't previously had the opportunity to host pets at my home due to rental limitations, but now living in my family home I can do so. We have a large open kitchen/diner area for your pet to be in, with a moderate sized garden which is completely enclosed.
I'm in between jobs at the moment, so have plenty of free time during the week and can be relatively flexible. I additionally have a car, so am open to sits slightly further away, with a distance compensation fee included for more significant distances.

Nothing is better than a lovely walk, followed by a snuggle on the sofa.&nbsp;
My husband and I will follow the dogs and walking routine.
My husband and I are early risers, we will be up early in case of an emergency toilet need or an extra cuddle.&nbsp;
I am normally home from work by 3:30-4pm and Rik works from home maybe three times a week&nbsp;
I work in a school, and in the school holidays, I will be around all day, so your pet will never be lonely. We are happy to give baths and if your dog needs medication we are happy to provide.
We do have a 2-year-old female cat at home. She is up to date with her vaccinations and neutered. She is not bothered my dogs she tends to stay out of there way but she will have a sniff.&nbsp;

I have 2 spayed female rescue dogs, Dot a 10 year old (we think) and Lotti a 4 year old.&nbsp; I love dogs and my life has been taken over by my two beautiful girls.&nbsp; I'm home the majority of the time and available to assist you with your dogs care.

Having worked from home for 5 years I'm now venturing out working from home for myself.&nbsp; My dogs don't like going to the toilet in the garden so I am out walking 3 times a day (about an hour and half in total each day) and I have been lucky enough to incorporate and adapt working life around their needs. 

They have been great at accepting dogs to stay with us, so much so they're sometimes quite sad when they have gone.  As I already have two I only take one dog at a time and 3 is manageable when we're out walking.

I only offer sitting at the house so that I don't leave my two girls home alone anymore than needed.  I always ask to do a meet and greet out on a walk when receiving new enquiries before confirming to ensure that all the dogs get along.  For a first stay I make a point of ensuring I'm home all the time to ensure all the dogs are settled.  
It's just me and my 2 dogs in the house so if a repeat or longer stay I will need to be in and out at times.  I ensure that all the dogs are settled together for the first day or two before leaving them alone and then it is only generally for a couple of hours to go to the gym or do a food shop etc.  I have a camera set up when dogs are staying so that I can keep checking in on them and that they are all settled.

If your dog requires oral medication I'm well versed in administering as both of mine have required medication at times.

I have a house with open plan space downstairs and room for crates if needed.  My dogs sleep downstairs and aren't allowed upstairs.&nbsp; 

I have a garden and live near Swinley Forest so lots of great areas for dog walking locally.

Hi doggy parents! We are Irene and David, a couple on our 30's who absolutely love dogs! We have a little cavapoo called Mia. She's 10 months old and very friendly with people and other dogs.Our house is located close to Reading town center. It's a 2 bed house in which our sofa is their sofa. We have a decent size fenced garden where Mia loves to play, roll over and sunbathe. We live by the river and have a nice path where we go for walkies every day. We're also close to parks where dogs can play and run around.We have Mia since February but have plenty of experience with other dogs. Mia is Irene's 4th dog (always had family dogs since I can remember. We've had mix breed dogs and currently a very active border collie). David had a family dog when he was younger as well (a cute bichon frise), so Mia is his 2nd.We are the official pet-sitters for family and friends and we've taken care of their doggies several times for both, daycare and boarding, so lots of experience as we've had puppies, active dogs, slightly "troubled" dogs (a dog scared of pretty much everything as she's a rescued dog) and also older dogs that love to chill.What do we offer?I (Irene) work from home 3 days a week (flexible) so your dog will never be alone, I'll be with them all the time! Our day care would be 8hr (flexible hours) but if you need more we'll have a chat when needed :)We offer 2/3 walks a day (weather dependent): one in the morning (around 8:30am or 9am) for about 20/30 min, then a longer walk of 1hr on my lunch break (around 1pm) and then another one in the evening (around 5pm or 6pm) for 30min to 1hr. Lots of play and cuddles at home in between all that of course!We do different things on the weekends (going to the river, forest, picnics, etc) so we can always adapt to your dog's needs and include them in all plans if that's ok with you!We'd also love to teach them or practice tricks and skills, we do a bit of "training" every day!I can also do basic grooming (wash, brush and clean eyes and ears).Happy to send regular updates, pics and videos for you to know your dog is in good hands. The most important for us is that they feel comfortable and want to come back here.
