For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Heywood for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Heywood Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Heywood sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and grew up with three dogs of all shapes and sizes. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. At the moment, I don’t have any pets of my own, which means I have plenty of space, time, and love to give to your furry family members. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply cuddles at home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for ️As I currently work only on weekends, I am available Monday to Friday and can dedicate my full attention to your pet throughout the day. If your dog stays with me, they will have company and care during the day and will not be left alone for long periods.I always follow the dog’s usual routine and any instructions provided, including feeding schedules which I make sure are done on time. I also understand that every dog is different — I am comfortable caring for nervous or high-energy dogs. I always stay aware of my surroundings during walks and keep a safe distance from other dogs when needed to help anxious dogs feel secure.A typical day with me starts with a morning walk straight after waking up, followed by breakfast for both me and the dog. During the day, I include a mix of playtime, cuddles, rest, and at least 3–4 walks depending on the dog’s needs, energy level, and routine. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I always stay calm and put your dog’s safety first. I will contact you immediately and, if needed, seek veterinary advice or assistance while carefully following any instructions you’ve provided.I always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and see how your pet is doing throughout the day.Let me know if you have any questions — I’d be more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand!

Best friend for your little best friend!
We are a couple based near Deansgate who own a doggo themselves, Carlton! Carlton is the friendliest dog. He loves all dogs and adapts his play levels to each dog. He can entertain a puppy and be chilled around an older pup!
We are a very active and playful household so can accommodate all needs! The dogs can be walked as often as needed. No matter the weather.
We offer daycare, house sitting and drop in visits. We can work around your and your dog needs. We are very flexible during the week and can almost always accommodate last-minute plan changes. We are based at home full time so have the flexibility to look after other doggos.
We have experience in looking after puppies and senior dogs. We can administer oral medication if needed too!
We are very excited to meet you and your little buddy for all the play and cuddles! We have a few regular doggos that stay with us!
