For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Horsforth for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Horsforth Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Horsforth sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I'm Faye.
As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets when you can't be there. I've grown up around animals and currently share my home with Gunther, my German Shepherd, who keeps me busy and has given me valuable experience with larger breeds and their individual needs.
I offer dog walking, pet drop-in visits and home-based dog boarding in Baildon and the surrounding areas. Whether your dog needs a lunchtime walk, your cat needs feeding while you're away, or you're looking for a home-from-home boarding experience, I aim to provide the same level of care, attention and affection that I'd want for my own animals.
Dog drop-in visits include toilet breaks, fresh food and water, playtime, enrichment and plenty of fuss. Cat visits include feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, companionship and photo updates for your peace of mind. Dog walks are tailored to your dog's age, temperament and energy levels, whether they're an adventurous youngster or prefer a gentler pace.
For boarding, dogs stay in my family home and are treated as part of the family. I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a home environment and will always arrange a meet and greet beforehand to ensure we're a good fit for one another.
I am fully insured, canine first aid trained and committed to providing safe, reliable and compassionate care. Every pet is different, and I take the time to understand their routine, personality and needs so they feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible while in my care.

My Background
Hi my name is Malika. From a young age I grew up having pets. Through having pets I learnt how to give them the right love and care that they needed. The first dog I ever had was an English Bullmastiff called Simba, she spent her lifetime living with me and my family. I always wanted to be around Simba so as a child I would sneak out of my bed at night to stay with her in the dog bed downstairs.
While we had Simba we then had another dog called Zuka. He was a cross between an English Bullmastiff and an Italian Masstiff, also known as a Cane Corso. I watched him grow up from a puppy to age 12. I looked after Zuka for my Dad on multiple occasions when he would need to go away for weeks at a time. Sadly Zuka passed away in 2023. I still enjoy looking after other animals as it is something I became used to from a younger age.

My Motivation and Experience
As I have experience with looking after both cats and dogs, I was happy when I found out that I could take care of other peoples pets. I love animals and I enjoy meeting new people and their pets. I have experience and I am comfortable around both small and larger dogs dogs. I am fine with looking after both dogs and cats in the same booking, or multiple pets within the same booking.

Hello, I'm Sarah, I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 13 years experience in the industry. I love all animals and have had a variety of pets all my life. I currently have 2 guinea pigs so am really missing having more furry friends in my life.
I have always wanted to do pet sitting. I have done this for friends and family over the years but now want to offer my services in a more professional way.
I know how daunting it can be to find the right person to look after your best friend but I want to put your mind at rest and assure you that your furry friend(s) will be in safe hands. Allowing you to have a relaxing time away and not worry.
I am very competent in all aspects of animal care, I can confidently administer any medications needed, complete complex care plans and feeding regimes.
During my visits I will provide fresh food and water, change litter trays / let out to the toilet, provide exercise and give lots of fuss and cuddles. I will give you regular updates and I am also happy to water plants, take bins out etc.
I am based in Yeadon, North West Leeds and am happy to travel to the surrounding areas. I am happy to do 1 or 2 visits per day and can offer occasional dog walks too (I work part time so please contact me to discuss). I cannot offer overnight stays in your own home but we can discuss having your pooch here with us.
Please get in touch :)

Hi, I’m Jess! I’ve been pet sitting for over 2 years, caring for both dogs and cats, and it’s honestly one of my favourite things to do. Spending time with animals never feels like work to me—it’s my fun job! I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.
I offer 30-minute and 1-hour dog walks, cat drop-in visits, and house sitting, with every booking tailored to your pet’s normal routine. Whether your dog enjoys a relaxed stroll or a longer adventure, or your cat prefers playtime, fuss, feeding, or simply some company, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve.
I have experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide range of personalities. I’ve owned reactive and nervous dogs myself, as well as looked after many anxious and shy pets, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and building trust at their pace. I always adapt my approach to suit each pet’s individual needs, helping them feel comfortable and secure.
During house sits, I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it secure, tidy, and exactly as you left it while ensuring your pets stay relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout every booking, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind.
My goal is for every pet to feel as though they’re spending time with a friend, and I can’t wait to meet your furry family!
