I love all animals but dogs have always been the closest to my heart. Dogs have been in my family since I was born and I currently have and trained 3 very friendly pooches, a Mini Dachshund, a Pointer/ Setter mix and a Rottweiler. All are very welcoming of new friends. I have over 20 years experience of dog care.
Caring for dogs is my full-time profession, I am fully insured to look after your dogs day &amp; night, with plenty of flexibility as well as last minute requests.
I have my own car to make visits to your pets throughout the day or take them for their favourite walk. I am local to Hughenden Manor which is a favourite for dogs.

I live 3 minutes from sooo big Hanwell Park(Churchfields Recreation Ground) so I would love to walk your dog there.I can do small walks and also bigger walks up to 3 hours, depending on the needs of your dog.I would only take care at one dog at the time,not several dogs at the same time in order to be 100% dedicated to your dog(I am happy if it's more than one dog from the same owner)
If you are visiting family for the weekend or planning to travel on a holiday I am more than happy to look after your pet,sending pictures everyday to assure you they are happy and well looked after . I genuinely adore all dogs – they bring me so much joy. I have a lot of experience in looking after other people’s dogs for years, including administering medication, going on long walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or making sure they’re comfortable and happy, I treat every pet as if they’re my own.
I now live in a pet-friendly home with lots of enclosed, outside space for walks - and am just a short distance away from lovely walks along the river. Your dog will be in loving hands with me, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and completely at home.
Pet care fits really easily into my daily routine as I already lead a very active lifestyle and enjoy getting outside each day. I go on regular walks and runs, so having a dog to care for naturally becomes part of that, whether it’s longer walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. Hi doggy parents! We are Irene and David, a couple on our 30's who absolutely love dogs! We have a little cavapoo called Mia. She's 10 months old and very friendly with people and other dogs.Our house is located close to Reading town center. It's a 2 bed house in which our sofa is their sofa. We have a decent size fenced garden where Mia loves to play, roll over and sunbathe. We live by the river and have a nice path where we go for walkies every day. We're also close to parks where dogs can play and run around.We have Mia since February but have plenty of experience with other dogs. Mia is Irene's 4th dog (always had family dogs since I can remember. We've had mix breed dogs and currently a very active border collie). David had a family dog when he was younger as well (a cute bichon frise), so Mia is his 2nd.We are the official pet-sitters for family and friends and we've taken care of their doggies several times for both, daycare and boarding, so lots of experience as we've had puppies, active dogs, slightly "troubled" dogs (a dog scared of pretty much everything as she's a rescued dog) and also older dogs that love to chill.What do we offer?I (Irene) work from home 3 days a week (flexible) so your dog will never be alone, I'll be with them all the time! Our day care would be 8hr (flexible hours) but if you need more we'll have a chat when needed :)We offer 2/3 walks a day (weather dependent): one in the morning (around 8:30am or 9am) for about 20/30 min, then a longer walk of 1hr on my lunch break (around 1pm) and then another one in the evening (around 5pm or 6pm) for 30min to 1hr. Lots of play and cuddles at home in between all that of course!We do different things on the weekends (going to the river, forest, picnics, etc) so we can always adapt to your dog's needs and include them in all plans if that's ok with you!We'd also love to teach them or practice tricks and skills, we do a bit of "training" every day!I can also do basic grooming (wash, brush and clean eyes and ears).Happy to send regular updates, pics and videos for you to know your dog is in good hands. Rest assured he/she will feel at home and will have all the love and affection they need &lt;3*IMPORTANT BITS*We only take fully vaccinated and NEUTERED dogs. Mia is also fully vaccinated but not spayed yet.We'd take SMALL and MEDIUM dogs ONLY and just one at a time (1 dog + ours) for now, so Mia doesn't feel overwhelmed or intimidated. The most important for us is that they feel comfortable and want to come back here. All aspects of dog care experience over many years from puppy birth delivery to basic trainng, rehabilitation support, administering medicines and of course most importantly daily love and care.  All on a 1-2-1 basis in a safe, secure and high quality environment of my own home.  Nothing is too much trouble..
I have a compeltely dog secure, fully fenced garden in an established private road in central Ascot, ensuring safety for the dogs. Your pet would also be accompanied by my own gorgeous Shipoo - an additional play mate for their stay. I also provide a dog grooming serivice seperately.
I like to know as much information about the doggies I look after - eating/potty/sleep walk schedules as well as knowing any anxieties your dog may have.  I always suggest having a "meet and greet" before the first visit.  In a nutshell I want to make their stay as comfortable as possible so the more information the better.


I work from home for part of the week, which means I can give plenty of time, attention and care to a furry guest. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around, and pet sitting is something I do with love, not just as a job.

We focus on gentle socialisation and playing, with many young dogs not having been able to socialise enough during Covid lockdowns. If you continue to work from home, it can be helpful for your dog to have a change of scenery and to meet new people and play with different dogs in a safe and well-supervised environment.

Induction Process
My focus is on dogs’ comfort with the appropriate blend of small companion dogs, getting to know my home, garden and some of the other dogs in my care. Unfortunately, boarding bookings for dogs who have not completed the induction process are not possible. If you have a holiday coming up, let's get the induction process completed to enable you to schedule a lovely holiday for your dog while you are away.
1 – One hour meet and greet for owner(s) and dog(s).2 – Four hour familiarisation session with you here for first half hour.3 – Eight hour day (or) overnight stay if you will be boarding.
One overnight stay is required before a longer-term boarding booking is accepted to ensure your dog will be comfortable.

Before Booking

Your dog should be at least one year old.
Please ensure your dog is housetrained.
Proof of being neutered / spayed.
Proof of annual vaccinations including kennel cough.

You Provide

Dog food that your dog normally eats.
Lead, collar/harness with ID tag.
You are encouraged to bring your dog’s bedding and favoured toys to ensure your dog feels at home.
Any necessary medicines and instructions.


During Your Dog's Stay

Lap of Luxury tags with our phone number attached to collar while in our care.
Daily pictures and updates.
Facetime/Whatsapp video calls with your dog when boarding.
Minimum of two 20-minute walks per day (or equivalent active playing in garden) during an eight-hour day care session; a third walk (or equivalent) per 24-hour stay in local parks and woodlands.
'Lead-always-on' policy during walks.
Coat brushed, paws, ears and eyes checked and cleaned daily.
Hills hypoallergenic treats and dried sprats (fish) provided with your permission.
