I began pet sitting after noticing how many of my friends and clients felt disheartened about leaving their pets behind when going to work or on holidays. Alongside a professional background in childcare and creative mentorship for children and their adults, I have years of experience caring for animals. This taught me the importance of patience, observation, and gentle communication — qualities I bring to every walk, feeding, playtime, or moment of companionship.

I have always dreamt of becoming a dog walker since I was really young. I have helped friends look after their dogs before by taking them on walks, feeding them, playing with them and best of all, lots of cuddles and love. 
I want to make sure your fur babies are as safe and happy as possible, I am willing to do all it takes for them to feel at home wherever we are. From walks to playing in the garden and I am also very active so I'd love for a little companion to join me on my journey. I think it teaches you a lot about yourself. 
I have two cats at home but I can offer services at your home and overnight stays. As well as regular dog walks.

I have returned to Edinburgh, having done a spell in London.
I have been looking after dogs, cats and even a rabbit whilst in London, and really enjoyed it! Whilst I dwell on getting my own pet very soon and have a hybrid working week, I am available to pet sit in the area or even back in London if I can stay as my work has an office in London too.
I have grown up with pets and adore them. I often look after my family's 2 cocker spaniels and cat. I enjoy their company and take joy from their happiness and fun little quirks and personalities. I joined pawshake to add spark to my days.
I wfh 2/3 days and am happy to travel within range by public transport. I can take 2 dogs at a time for walks for up to 45 minutes in the morning and/or evenings. Two walks a day, or three at weekends. At the weekends, walks can be longer and at any time. Whilst wfh, I can supervise the pet 24/7. I can send you as many updates as you like and keep in regular contact with you.&nbsp;

Regarding dog boarding &amp; doggy day care:
Your dog will stay in our family home. We have a 2 bedroom flat which my son and I habit. Plenty of space for your dog/s to roam about freely, we let the dogs sleep on sofas and cuddle in bed. However we do also have crates and dog beds throughout our home if you wish. There is a huge back yard garden which is fenced off and totally secure where the dog/s can play, we are 5 mins from the cycle path for lovely walks and only 15 mins walk from Cramond beach area.

I currently have a little kitten in my home and I love spending time with all kinds of animals. I have a kitten at home also, she is abit shy but full of curiosity. She is only 7.5 months at the moment. So would be great if your pet can stay with cat:)

I offer pet sitting services, such as feeding, cleaning, and playing with your pets to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also make sure they will be safe and comfortable. I have always had a love for dogs, and definitely understand why they are man's best friend. I used to walk a friend's labradoodle before deciding to get my own one a few years ago. I have taken care of her since she was a small pup and as she is a breeding dog it takes special care looking after her. 
I toilet trained her as a puppy and taught her to sit, lay down, roll over, paw and she can even high five. She attends swimming classes to aid her hip health and has given birth to 2 litters of healthy pups, I have trained her to follow commands such as 'touch' for recall. 
I believe it is so important for dogs to get exercise each day, especially dogs which may be trapped indoors when their families are out at work. I would keep your dog on the lead at all times and take much care when crossing any roads (my dog has no road sense so I am always extra careful with this). I look forward to meeting you and your fluffy friend!

Any home feels a little empty without a pet, luckily growing up my home was never without one (several actually), but sadly since moving to Edinburgh I do not have any. Pet sitting gives me a great opportunity to spend time with loving fur friends, enjoy their unique mannerisms, and maybe go out for some nice walks! I don't have any character requirements I just want them to be themselves, whether your pet is energetic, shy, indifferent, growly, etc. It’s more about company, safety and care. Trust is earned and I put the time in to adapt to different pet’s needs and behaviours, with the hope they will feel comfortable and at home with me :)&nbsp;
I have always enjoyed caring for animals and the range of experience I have had branches from domestic animals to wildlife, with a diploma in animal management to support my interest. I have been intermittently pet sitting throughout the years, but more major roles include animal rescue work, habitat conservation, protection of endangered birds, and kennels and cattery work - so quite a mix. During this time, I have cared for various species and breeds; reptiles, dogs, rabbits, cats, and often dealt with behavioural difficulties or anxiety in animals.
I have listed the option of home boarding, having a small but cosy 1st floor flat in Edinburgh centre with aspacious communal garden. There is a little spare room in my flat that works nicely as a space for pets staying, and there are plenty of spots to retreat to/climb up for their own space. My primary job is a professional cleaner so you can also expect a high standard of cleanliness for your pet. To stay with me pets must be vaccinated and have up to date cards, so I hope that's okay :)&nbsp;
